I see Trump being acquitted in the Senate.

Thanks to Nancy Pelosi, Nadler, and Adam Schiff, I see this BS impeachment making Trump an absolute juggernaut, much harder for the Democrats to beat in the November election.

I don’t want to gloat, but I said it all along: This partisan BS impeachment was going to blowup in the face of the Democrats.

Let the Democrat Meltdown begin😎

He will be acquitted, but not because of anything the Democrats did. It will happen for the simple reason the Republicans have a majority in the Senate and none of them can open their eyes to the danger they will be releasing on the country. What you ask? The precident that a president can do anything they want without over sight or interference from congress or the courts.

Are you ready for the next Democratic president to use that power in the same way the Donald has? If he's acquitted it will happen and that is a frightening thought. That kind of power should NEVER be concentrated in one set of hands, ever, no matter which party they belong to. When it is you have a monarchy and not a democratic republic. Are we ready for that? Ready to submit to the rule of one person rather then a body politic elected by the people? Or am I talking to the wall?

It has became clear that the Goal shifted some time ago.

It went from impeaching and removing Trump from office to doing their best to convince the people NOT to vote for him and certain other GOP people running for office.
They are hoping that people are dumb enough to believe them or to create enough doubt carry over, to the election day.

They didn't learn a fucking thing in '16 except they needed to be dirtier, meaner and never let up or be truthful.

Hell.

Who knows watching this Board they may do it...

I can't help but disagree with you, if for no other reason but to reverse your opinion; The Democrat controlled House wants to do nothing more but revoke Executive powers until the next election, just as the Senate wishes to maintain said powers.

Nancy Pelosi an the House has already stated that they want to dissolve the results of the 2016 election.

By you post, I'm assuming that you wish to dissolve the checks and balances between the three branches in order to 'suit your fancy."

Sorry, but that's what you appear to be saying.

Not directed at you but the ignorant SOB you replied to. (I have him on ignore.)

Controlling the senate has nothing to do with it. McConnell can only "suggest" the rules. He has to have the support of his caucus to put them in place. If you bothered to notice there were some rule changes. But rule changes do NOT dictate the vote to remove from office, that takes a 2/3's super majority (67 senators).

It is likely that the vote to acquit the charges will include some democrats, quite unlike the house vote to impeach. So the acquittal will be bi-partisan.

I find it telling that the democrats, aided and abetted by the full force of the MSM, have been unable to budge Trump's base. It will be interesting to see post acquittal whether they continue with the same tactics. I suspect that they will but as they say, "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

Thank you for the clarification. Seemed a little over the top. :)

It's actually quite wrong.

First: If Trump is impeached and removed, then he would be ineligible to hold ANY elected or appointed government office.

Second, Pence couldn't "appoint" Trump as VP, he could only nominate him and that nomination would have to be confirmed by Congress. Which, after an impeachment and removal, would be highly unlikely to happen since the same Senate that removed him would be the same ones to "confirm" him after being nominated.

Comshaw

Someone fails to understand that Obama had a pen and a phone...

There's a rule that anyone in sales, or had any sales training, knows. It's a dimple rule, "When you've closed the deal, shut up." Obviously the democrats either haven't "closed the deal" or they never learned because they haven't shut up yet.

Their problem is that after all this time not "closing the deal" they aren't convincing anyone, they're starting to irritate everyone. They're like the Fuller Brush guy that was allowed into the house and now won't fucking leave. Overselling is like a stake in the heart for the salesperson.

I listened to a lot of Trump’s defense team on the radio today. Great to see them come out swinging! What surprised me is they said they weren’t going to use all their time like the Democrats did.

I don’t see the Senate Trial lasting much longer than a couple of weeks at this point.

We'll see. The democrats are now harping on the fact that 72% of the public wants witnesses. And this is true, 40% want to see Hunter Biden on the stand and 40% want to see John Bolton on the stand (there is some overlap). Neither group is a majority as the press and the democrats would like you to believe.

Putting Hunter on the stand in the Senate is only going to get him to say he pleads the 5th. Putting John Bolton on the stand would be a mistake for the Democrats, a grave mistake. They don’t know what he will say as they didn’t get testimony from him behind closed doors like the rest of the hearsay tribe.

Personally, I think this whole trial doesn’t need witnesses. The Democrats have failed to make their case with a BS impeachment for the sake of impeaching Trump. I say let the cards fall where they’re gonna fall.

Well, you're probably right. I was just trying to explain my thoughts in the way that i understand the situation.

I'm no expert on Constitutional law and such, however I love history, and IMHO, the American public is so fed up with Congress in general that a nasty backlash is inevitable come November. :)

I’m all for a RED WAVE in the House, Keep the Senate, and re-elect Trump😎

One can hope but I'm not holding my breath.

And again, I wasn't responding to you. You were my portal as it were.

Unlike others here, you have never attacked me personally for my opinions and beliefs and I have no problem with your responses to my comments.

Thanks. :)

I'm a counter-puncher. I don't attack, I counter-attack. Once anyone comes after me, or my family, the gloves come off.

This morning's opening statements by the defense (I was listening on live AM radio) pretty well summed it up: a whole bunch of partisan attacks; the entire process remains as a blatant attack upon the Constitution to eject a legally elected Chief Executive by any and all means possible; including lying, libel, slander and falsification of records.

The Democratic Party's attempted partisan hatchet job is about to backfire on them, big time.

I've stated before that i'm no HUGE Trump fan, however he's the POTUS, you Democrats wanted Hillary, you lost, and now you're willing to do ANYTHING (even illegally) to depose him.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

On Monday they're going to roll out the big guns and really go after Schiff and Nadler. By the time their done, both will be in trouble. There's going to be a reckoning, Schism666, Comshaw, heathergave, haircutguy, Rory, CowPaddy, and the rest of the innumerable clueless among us are going to be humiliated as their entire belief system concerning the last three years is shredded before them. Everything we've been telling them is going to be shown to be correct. The illegality of their alleged subpoenas, the monstrous lies of Adam Schiff, his selective leaks and withholding of exculpatory evidence, the lack of due process for the President, the inherent truth of the transcript, the conspiracy of the Whistleblower, the traitorous FISA abuse, the culpability of the FBI/DOJ/CIA, will all be exposed. When it is done there will be a bipartisan vote to acquit. Shortly thereafter bigger investigations will begin. Get ready.

*Laughs* Good to see you here, staying up late. How long before we're called out for being each others alties? ;):):D

Thanks, just got in from a friend's house and thought I'd take a look around and see if today's presentation injured any fannies.

Anytime now.:D

In March I'll be giving my haters another vacation.:D

Good. Enjoy your vacation, but please stick around for the next couple weeks.

The snowflake meltdown will be of pandemic proportions, and I wouldn't want you or any other like-minded American to miss it. :)

It's going to be brutal. Imagine the task of having to cover-up three plus years of unadulterated BS about Trump. He's going to be twice as strong coming out of this as he was going in. Jessie Watters said he was confronted by three Bernie fans in an elevator, saying they told him if Bernie gets screwed by the DNC this time round their going to vote for Trump, "like they did last time." Bad news for the Democrats.;)

ha ha, they're both the same person, dummy. Same idiot, two different usernames. He's been outed before but he keeps on spewing the same trolling idiocy thinking people won't notice.
