How’s That Impeachment Going?

Vette and the rest of the right wing morons verses:

A group of more than 700 historians urged the House of Representatives to vote to impeach President Trump, writing in a public letter that Trump’s disregard for the rule of law represents a “clear and present danger to the Constitution.”

“It is our considered judgment that if President Trump’s misconduct does not rise to the level of impeachment, then virtually nothing does,” the scholars write in the letter, which was shared on Medium by Protect Democracy, a nonprofit advocacy group.

They conclude by arguing that Trump's behavior fits Hamilton's description of an "unscrupulous demagogue," adding that Trump's "scorn for the rule of law" and repeated injuries to democracy demand impeachment.

Protect Democracy earlier this month published a separate letter from more than 500 law professors urging the House to impeach the president. That letter argued that there was "overwhelming evidence" that Trump betrayed his oath of office by seeking to pressure a foreign nation to open investigations into a political opponent.

The arguments echo those made by Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and the rest of Democratic leadership. Trump and GOP lawmakers have fiercely pushed back against the charges, asserting that Democrats' case lacks necessary evidence and that Trump was most concerned about corruption in his dealings with Ukraine.

Well; I interviewed 35 first graders and they all told me Nancy is stupid! :D

"According to the Constitution and the laws..." The articles do not conform to the Constitution, they insult the Constitution, you mind numbing idiot. To do "impartial justice" would be to dismiss the unconstitutional charges for the sake of the Constitution itself.

"Impartial justice" to them means acknowledge the "facts" that Trump is clearly guilty of -something- and if you cannot politically agree to remove him from office, at least acknowledge that he totally should be.

All this impeachment business is interfering with trumps vendetta against obama and his wall.
It's not fair.

"Virtually nothing"

What about. . .

"Obstructing Congress" <sic> by both insisting you had.no involvement in, or discussion about illegal gun-running while claiming that executive privilege excludes congressional oversight of planning done by people who did not confer with the executive claiming the privilege.

How about violating congressional statutes regarding any money transfers to Iran?

How did those "700 Historians" weigh in on those issues at the time? How do they compare the two now?

They want us to be partial to their illegal conspiracy and glaring incompetence.

You waste your time replying, dumbass. He is impeached with cause. Tons of people way smarter than me, and even more so, you...even agreed with it.

So, why don't you get off your lazy ass, get in the pussymobile and make a couple bucks today...that way us taxpayers won't have to support you.

The clue to CowDudes contribution from the "Project for Democracy" is in the name. We have a republic, something the left hates and the founders desired as a bulwark against "democracy," which they all feared as antithetical to liberty and individual freedom. This organization is headed up by Obama's former White House Counsel, Ian Bassin...a left wing looney as are most of his staff. You'd think a bunch of historians would know that the founders hated democracy and loathed to impose a direct democracy on freedom loving people, but they are all revisionist historians apparently.

What part of the GAO is looney left?

There is nothing free about letting the president get away with whatever he wants.

You're a hack. And and not very bright.

Btw... there were also 500 law professors that said the same things.

haha. Attacking an antagonist's mental capacity, and/or disparaging his/her reputation is the VERY FIRST indication that you got nothing!

He's proven himself stupid for the years I've been here.

You have anything not hacky or stupid to rebut my post?

CowDude doesn't understand the GAO is an Arm of the Democrat Congress and has a history of politicized "legal" opinions. The DOJ has completely and in detail refuted every legal point made by the GAO in this instance. They also ruled several times that Obama had broken the law as well, but not a single Democrat member of Congress called for his impeachment. CowDude fails to detect the hypocrisy of his point.

He alleges the President "gets away with whatever he wants," when in fact he gets away with whatever is legal. This must be true since the Democrats have failed to identify a single crime committed by the President.

The left can always come up with a group of radicals in every field of endeavor to parrot the agenda of Communist/Socialist/Fascist, goals of the new Democrat Party. Wasn't the last group a bunch of psychologists falsely claiming the President is insane, and a group of debunked weathermen to attest to the bullshit of man made global warming?

I knew you'd prove your partisan hackery and monumental stupidity.

Finally, you acknowledge that obstruction of Congress is a crime.
