Remember: it's no longer "President Trump" - it's "Impeached President Trump"

The contempt of Congress is evidenced in Trumps obstruction of Congress. The Trumpettes can get as mealy-mouthed as they like. He is impeached and history will quite easily see that he is guilty--of those two charges and a whole bunch more. Trump and his Trumpettes are the scum of the earth.

They went to court to compel testimony over executive privilege and were only successful in doing so because executive privilege dies not apply if, and only if you have an actual underlying crime. Telling congress to get a court order is not obstructing congress.

William Jefferson Clinton trying to get presents back in order to destroy evidence and urging other truck a congressional investigation was obstruction.

Nothing like a ridiculous false equivalency.

For criminal complaints and was therefore mandated by SCOTUS to adhere to the subpoenas, the court proclaimed could not deny the congress by executive privilege. Shortly after he resigned. How is that similar?

How about Schiff lying parody to congress. Or Schiff lying to congress concerning the whistleblower. Just watch it on TV.

The whistleblower's account was corroborated by the president himself as well as other sources. Nothing that Schiff said alters that reality. Is that the best you've got?

And there isn't a damn thing the Trumpettes can do about it. All they can try to do is lie and then lie again--and then yet again. They are truly Trump's people. :)

Whether it was or wasn't is immaterial, Schiff lied about he or his staff people having any contact with the whistleblower before the ICIG. Was the whistleblower's testimony drawn up by Adam Schiff and then turned over to the ICIG. That would mean that Schiff acting as a prosecutor secretly tampered with evidence to embellish the actual doc and change the actual narrative to strengthen Schiff's case of impeachment. Chronological order of events is critical The whistleblower's account is not more accurate than the actual transcript memorandum.

There is security protocol at issue. If nothing that Schiff said changes reality then nothing Trump said changes reality, can't have it both ways. Schiff made up a story about the composition of the actual phone call. He embellished it, he lied about it and he knew things about the WB doc that no one other than the whistleblower should have known proving he lied to congress about what he knew. Why is this important? Because both Vindman and the WB went outside their lane and violated security protocol. Vindman's chain of custody and command was WH counsel or the ICIG. The action of not following protocol may prove to be agenda driven, a conspiracy to damage the president. That's why it's important to get witness testimony from both Vindman and the WB as well as Vindman's twin brother.

Actually it is very material. To those living in reality.

I'm sure you have some kind of documentation that Schiff doctored any testimony right?

False Dichotomy. Trump released the "transcript" which corroborated the charges. That you choose to put your fingers in your ears and sing "la la la" is not something we can help. Unfortunately.

Back to claiming executive privilege. I'm sure you totally would have claimed that if it were Obama or HRC in the hot seat. Right?

Back to bitching about the process. So apparently Mitch's approach of "my way or the highway" is a-ok.

Hypocrite.

Try harder.

Yes, it's official now. Impeached President Trump's articles of impeachment were delivered to the Senate.

It's too bad he was unable to control his impulse to use Congressionally authorized military aid for his own political purposes. And then, he obstructed Congress in the their investigation of this act.

Oh, well, what can you do? There have only been two Presidents stupid enough to get impeached during their first term. Both of them were great dividers, so a first-term stain on their record is fitting.

It does not really matter much if the Republican-held Senate does not convict him. The stain is there forever, and history will likely end up comparing him in many ways to Andrew Johnson, widely regarded as one of the worst and most divisive Presidents in history.

Try looking into the IRS scandal... Fast and furious ( Eric Holder's contempt of court and congress) and Obama's use of executive privilege.... Benghazi and refusing to turn over documents.... lying to the american people about ACA, HE WAS NEVER IMPEACHED! He spied on congress and journalist to name a few.

Hillary violated 18 US code 1924 handling classified material, obstruction of justice, deleting thousands of subpoenaed emails and I could go on.

B-b-b-b-but Obama! B-b-b-b-but Hillary!

Oh come on now. You're just getting ridiculous.

The Senate won't convict. Trump will be re-elected.

And Trump and the Republicans (they aren't really the same thing; the Republicans' stupidity is in not developing that) inevitably will be screwed with the public forever. They are in a vise. The more dismissive they are in the Senate treatment, what with damning evidence just continuing to pile in, the more "coverup" will be running in the public's mind. But the more they take it as a serious trial, the more "guilty" will be running in the public's mind. They and Trump are screwed in the mid and long term regardless.

And there's not a damn thing the Republicans or you Trumpettes can do about it other than sink deeper into the coverup/guilt muck and just continue to lie and lie again and yet again--being convincing only to Trump's dwindling number of despicables. :)

So why doesnt trump lock her up? Better yet, get her to testify before Congress. :)

Yeah, WTF? That was a big campaign promise, chanted at every rally.

I guess Impeached President Trump is nothing more than a blowhard, in addition to being impeached during his first term.

And there's nothing you Trumpettes can do about any of this but rant ineffectually on a porn board and lie, lie, lie. :)

I could go on.

You do. You do indeed. On and on and on and on and on .....

I guess the rumors are true, you lefty loons will stop at nothing to regain power, fake impeachment, weaponize the DOJ and the FBI, spy on american citizens, create a special counsel based on fraudulent FISA warrants and a lying FBI director, a director that let Clinton off the hook for real crimes. Your hero legal analyst Avenati going to jail, you're as pure as the driven snow, and you call me a hypocrite!

Hmmmm, new charges anyone?

Threats. Intimidation. Extortion.

Days before Europeans warned Iran of nuclear deal violations, Trump secretly threatened to impose 25% tariff on European autos if they didn't
Washington Post|28 minutes ago
A week before Germany, France and Britain formally accused Iran of breaching the 2015 nuclear deal, the Trump administration issued a private threat to the Europeans that shocked officials in all three countries. If they refused to call out Tehran and initiate an arcane dispute mechanism in the deal, the United States would impose a 25 percent ...
