Todd172’s “The Shack: An ImplacableMan” (2019) follows up on 2018’s “The Shack: An Angry Man” and “The Shack: An Unreasonable Man”.

His main characters, Needles and Delaney, are the most vivid and amazingly incredible but yet totally believable fictional characters I’ve come across since Gus and Call in “Lonesome Dove”.

It's an interesting story to be sure, but the OP says the nominees have to be posted in 2019. It appears to have been posted in 2017. Maybe that author has a recent story you'd like to nominate instead.

Firebrand

I would like to nominate something from the Sci-Fi genre, namely Firebrand from the author Snekguy.

Being a short novel in it´s own right, the story is set in a very well flashed out sci-fi setting, that is mainly a murder mystery, that also deals with xenophobia, military and social subjects and romance/love. Well and kinky sex because its Literotica

Definitely one of my all time favorites and I didn´t stop reading once I started it, he certainly knows how to keep the reader interested and I enjoyed pretty much ever story he wrote so far.
