In this category, please nominate the story that you feel was the most literary - the one that is so well-written that it would stand alone as a literary work in any context. Story must be currently on Literotica, and must have been submitted during the year 2019.

One nomination per person, please. If multiple nominations are made by a member, only the first listed will count.

Please note that posts containing trolling, name-calling, and/or other forms of negativity will be removed. If you don't enjoy contests, that's fine - you are free to not participate. Please do not ruin everyone else's fun. :rose:

Thank you to all participants - readers and authors alike!

Hard Landing

BrokenSpoke’s Hard Landing is amazing. I can’t believe how much the story has meant to me. It’s a true romance that deals with some very real issues.

NoraFares: Renascence

A story of loss, grief, growth and finding love.

Renascence is written with such skill that each sentence wrings out more emotion and meaning than entire pages would by a lesser hand.

Excuse me, but what happened to 2017 and 2018? I was honored to have my name put up for nomination for 2017, and nothing came of it. I can’t help but feel a bit cheated.

I would like to nominate Three Square Meals by Tefler.
For sheer scope, this is an epic space opera.

Plus one. For a first piece, the quality and depth is astonishing.

I’ll nominate Todd172

Todd172’s “The Shack: An ImplacableMan” (2019) follows up on 2018’s “The Shack: An Angry Man” and “The Shack: An Unreasonable Man”.

His main characters, Needles and Delaney, are the most vivid and amazingly incredible but yet totally believable fictional characters I’ve come across since Gus and Call in “Lonesome Dove”.
‘Nuff said.

Excellent call, Cowboy.

It's an interesting story to be sure, but the OP says the nominees have to be posted in 2019. It appears to have been posted in 2017. Maybe that author has a recent story you'd like to nominate instead.

Ups, sorry, true enough. How did I miss that? I was somehow totally sure it was posted in 2019, when I made the nomination.

Melissababy

For the whole amazing Mary and Alvin saga (well at least those posted in 2019, as per the rules).

NoraFares Rennasance chapter 5

This story just won the June Readers Choice award, and is gripping, no matter the genre.

Most original concept and outstanding writing

Dating in the Dark by SolarRay

Consummate example of erotica - which means Hot, Hot, Hot.

Firebrand

I would like to nominate something from the Sci-Fi genre, namely Firebrand from the author Snekguy.

Being a short novel in it´s own right, the story is set in a very well flashed out sci-fi setting, that is mainly a murder mystery, that also deals with xenophobia, military and social subjects and romance/love. Well and kinky sex because its Literotica ;)

Definitely one of my all time favorites and I didn´t stop reading once I started it, he certainly knows how to keep the reader interested and I enjoyed pretty much ever story he wrote so far.
