I’d like to nominate HaltWhoGoesThere, who is conscientious and friendly, and never intrusive. I feel lucky to have found them. They’ve been encouraging to me when I was discouraged, and always responsive. I couldn’t do it without them.

Please enter my nomination for Todger65. The poor man has edited over ninety of my stories and still seems to be sane.

I nominate editor kenjisato. Kenji has been an excellent resource for me. His turnaround time is phenomenal; within two days, short or long story, he often puts a timeframe in his reply that usually is about four days. I've sent content anywhere from 8K to 30K, and he doesn't hesitate to take it on. He tags my errors, even my repeats, without brow-beatings. Just the facts and nothing but the mistakes and the occasional changes in word selections that continuously improve the quality of my work. The process he uses offers the markups of the original, so you see what you wrote, what he finds, and notes so you can choose to accept or reject them. And as an added effort, he sends a second, cleaned-up version which means less work for me when I submit it. The offerings he suggests for vocabulary help the nuances of a story. Kenji gets my vote.

I have to nominate blackrandl1958. There is nobody, and I mean nobody on this site who helps as many writers, would be writers and just people wanting to have a go.
Randi doesn't just help with editing, she provides guidance and help with all aspects of writing... More than an editor, but a mentor as well.
People come and go, but the work that blackrandl1958 puts into events and just helping out. The award should be named after her...
So, I nominate blackrandl1958 for the blackrandl1958 award.

I don't think anyone has done more in this category than blackrandl1958. She has helped scores of writers as well as this site. She should be s shoo in.

I would like to nominate AlinaX, excellent attention to details, diligent editing, and being helpful even outside of this person's favorite topics!

I nominate Tex Beethoven. He has made me a better writer and really knows how to bring the best in me… especially when I give him the write material.

I'd like to nominate Neuroparanthetical as well. After a less-than-stellar attempt to edit my own first story, I've subsequently been relying on him to help me refine my work. He has been incredibly thoughtful, supportive, and diligent. He's pushed me to grow as a writer in so many ways, while still respecting my voice. I just asked him to edit my sixteenth piece; of course, he agreed without hesitation. To quote the iconic Lulu, "How do you thank someone who has taken you from crayons to perfume? It isn't easy, but I'll try." Sending my heartfelt appreciation to my favorite volunteer editor, Neuroparenthetical.

My vote must be for kenjisato. He treats his volunteer work with the utmost professionalism, and his eyes are very sharp. While I benefited from the contributions of several other editors in 2022, I have to go with the man whose patience for my submissions seemed (and seems!) nearly infinite.

Had a really great experience with AlinaX last year on my first story, which was >20K words. She read the whole thing and made both detailed and big picture suggestions. Turned it from a hot mess to a HOT mess. (sorry, can't resist dumb jokes). But really, it went from amateurish to a 4.85, and she was one of two authors (along with A J) that helped.

I want to nominate Kenjisato, this man has made this new writer shine brighter, and I am so thankful to him for guiding and helping me; it's an honor, my friend. And he is a poet and didn't even know it. (Inside joke)

I nominate editor Kenji Sato.
One of the best editors out there. I had many editors turn me down or not even respond to me. I almost gave up, but I told myself to give it one more try, and I saw kenjisato's name, and I was just like, you, I’m going to do this one last time, I was hoping that somebody would reply to me because all the other editors rejected me or did not reply so I found two people him and I thought to myself, I will send both editors, a copy of and hopefully, somebody will reply. Kenji Sato was the first to answer, and I loved his feedback. I love how he gave me One last time, and if nobody replies to me, I was just going to leave it at itsignificant constructive criticism and how he changed things, and how you made my story flow a lot better. i’m gonna stick by him no matter what.

I would nominate @Rustyoznail ...
I had some real trouble finding editors...I was even asked to send a video of strip tease in order to get edited.
Some of them would just ask just to read and then ghost me...

Ever since I had been associated with Rusty...I had no issues with editing...I even recommended him to @bdrew86 whom I consider my idol in erotica and she too had a fun time working with him...

I’m definitely nominating Kenji Sato. His expertise astounds me pretty much every time I receive my work back from him.
Hopefully i am doing this correctly, as this is my first time nominating anyone for anything here on Literotica.

I want to nominate kenjisato. He helped me through twelve works in 2022, and worked through all of them at least twice.
I'll accept all his corrections as it improve the grammar, flow and spelling. The only exceptions are some rare cases where I intended something else. In these cases I'll rephrase to make sure of the correct intention - and send it back for re-edit.
Another service that kenjisato brings into his editing is the continuation of the story. At times I'll change the plot to improve the work, and miss a spot when working the change into the existing text. kenjisato would spot these and make the necessary corrections. He'll even check/recall facts from earlier chapters and hilight differences.
kenjisato also plays the role of a tutor where he notice that I repeatedly get some constructs or concepts wrong, and doing it without an 'air of superiority'.
kenjisato remains curtious, in spite of the number of works he had volunteered for on his desk, and the number of re-edits requested. He always make me feel like I'm his favorite author put in extra effort when requested.
