She's already living most of her time in a Maryland suburb with her parents--and so is Barron, who is going to school there. She's already ditched Trump for other than high-level ceremonial events. Her efforts on going out on her own as first lady have tanked. She always runs up against the open ugliness of her husband on whatever issue she tries to champion. (She's getting better at decorating the White House for Christmas, though. By next year, should the Trumps still be around and not in prison, the social commentaries might not run from "over the top" to "hey what?")

it looks a foregone conclusion that the republican-held senate trial won't result in trump's removal from office. the only chance of that happening might be through those witnesses trump wouldn't allow to testify before and mcconnell is still stating there will be no new witnesses permitted to take the stand for questioning, despite this now being a legal trial.
we all know they'd be welcoming those guys with rose petals underfoot if they knew it'd show trump--excuse me--impeached president trump in a favourable light.
