Are you ok with Republicans not taking impeachment seriously? If they don’t, as it looks like, only the base won’t see it as a coverup. Will that be enough to get him and them re-elected?

Senator McConnell is doing what the U.S. Constitution is directing him to do, and the partisan House Democrats don't want that, and so NOW they're trying to somehow paint the senate majority leader as the bad guy instead of Adam Schiff (who's actually perverting the constitution with his partisan clown-show!)

Yeah, they've got a TON on hearsay evidence involving people who heard from other people that Trump supposedly did some stuff! And the judge listening to these argument will be none-other-than the Chief Justice of our U.S. Supreme Court John Roberts, whom the Democratic Party will then condemn for not allowing their hearsay evidence to convict Trump!

Trump is impeached. He did it himself with nothing but nonsense that doesn't claim he didn't do what he did from the Republicans. He is impeached for all history no matter what the Republicans in the Senate (actually their added stonewalling and disregard for the truth will add to the verdict of history) and history will see that he's guilty of what he was impeached for. Because what's really going on is that they're considering taking the time to gather more evidence in light of the fact that McConnell is openly threatening to shut the whole thing down any way he can. And the House Dems are entirely within their rights to do that.

That is all perfectly legitimate. You're just seeing something nefarious in it because you oppose the impeachment.

3 1/2 years wasn't enough time? Pelosi got her vote and now has a moral obligation to submit the articles to the senate. I believe failure to elevate the impeachment results to the senate could force SCOTUS to rule as unconstitutional and move to acquit regardless of what the house does, never been done before but just like the house proceedings, there's always a first time. Lot's of evidence slowly rising to the surface concerning Jovanovic lying to congress about her true role in the Ukrainian corruption investigation. She may be under investigation by the senate judiciary, may be forced to testify in front the senate.

McConnell whines House inquiry was ‘rushed and rigged’ after admitting he plans to rush and rig Trump’s Senate trial

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) complained in a floor speech Thursday that the House “rushed and rigged” the impeachment hearings. But he then admitted that he would basically do the same thing if it came to the Senate.

McConnell began by trashing the Democrats for the rushed hearings, which the Democrats have said is because President Donald Trump’s crimes were that egregious and that “obvious.” The 2020 election has already begun and Democrats have said that it is important to work swiftly because the president is already working to hurt the election.

Moscow Mitch is projecting again. While complaining that the Dem's didn't go slow enough, he intends to rush the trial in the Senate, because he's afraid of what Trumpski will tweet out in his rage! He knows that he has to move quickly before the Senate becomes worried about their re-election chances.
