I tried to get my kiddo to watch polar Express today. She was NOT having it. I did manage to make her watch Klaus with me two days ago ^__^ so polar Express is on my own watch list for after I finish the last of my work tonight. I've been told I AM watching a movie and coloring tonight and I AM having the strawberries I bought and cranberry juice. Not gonna argue with that assignment now am I?

Aww. I don't think I ever saw that movie. My son watched the Polar Express last year and he seemed to like it. I think his favorite Christmas movie are "The Santa Claus" movies. We're having friends over tonight, so there will be a movie, popcorn and other goodies.. but NO alcohol. If I'm not allowed to drink, neither are they!

Yep, Polar Express is a really good Christmas movie, I hadn't intended to watch it when it queued up one night but ended up watching all of it.

YES! The Santa Clause movies are fantastic.
I like the oldies but goodies too though... every Christmas Eve I insist on Rudolph and the Island of misfit Toys, Frosty, A Muppet Christmas Carrol, and Sesame Street Christmas Eve (in that order)

I fall asleep at least a few times in there... but it is worth it. I'm looking forward to the year I don't do that marathon alone ^__^

I am too cheap to buy gift wrap. We use tea towels and grocery bags and pillowcases. It all ends up on the floor anyway.
