On a side note this is why when I go to the grocery store it's with 2x .45 ACP's and 147 rounds of +P gold dots.

Also have a rather snazzy 1st aid kit with blood clotting agent, tampons for bullet holes, tourniquets, cravats, a splint, burn dressings, hemostats, scissors, sucking chest wound valves and a variety of bandages all packed away in my man purse.

I keep a better equipped kit with intubation kits, breather bags, IV catheters, lines and 2000CC LR bags in the trunks of all my vehicles.

What you do in those few seconds, how you prepared yourself and being aware of your surroundings could be the difference between you living and dying. Most people believe local police will come to save them, unfortunately they can't get there in time so your left with a few options, use your head, defend yourself, find cover till help gets there and in every situation it comes down to awareness of your surroundings, predetermine exit strategies and train yourself in the use of a firearm.
