The Russians

KeithD writes: "Well, he'd like to gobble up the Ukraine too, and Trump is helping him there."

When the Russians siezed the Crimean Peninsula from the Ukraine, who was in the White House? Answer: BARACK OBAMA.

When the Russians then siezed portions of the eastern Ukraine, who was in the White House? Answer: BARACK OBAMA.

When former Vice President Joe Biden help up a billion-dollar aid package to the Ukraine until they fired a special prosecutor, who was in the White House? Answer: BARACK OBAMA.

And who was president when the United States actually SENT aid to the Ukraine, allowing that nation to defend itself against Russian aggression? Why, that would be DONALD TRUMP!

Perhaps you should know what you're talking about before you post crap, Keith!

Russia is a threat because...

Russia is a threat because the ruling class in Russia had a good taste of what it is like to be the ruling class in a socialistic world. They love being the elite that control everything. They crave big government because they are the governing class.

So, until they are destroyed they will keep pushing to get more and more power.

But the biggest threat to the USA is internal. The hate and division being stirred up by liberal media and the socialistic political class is destroying the country internally.

We are witnessing one of the final stages in the total collapse of this country. Trump is slowing it down but after his second term is over things are going to get very ugly in this country.

From an outsiders view point, the problem is not the media, but the politicians. Media can broadcast or print or upload what ever propaganda it wants. Spin it left, right, up or down. That is irrelevant to those who are make policy and legislation.

The problems as I see it, is the inability of either side to compromise.

I have said this before, and I will type it again.

No one side is ever 100% correct, or 100% incorrect. That includes Trump, Republicans or Democrats.

As for Trump "slowing it down". Personally I see it as him speeding it up. If Trump is re elected to a second term, I bet the first words out of his mouth will be, "you know something should be done about the 22nd amendment..."

Biggest lie I've seen you tell yet.

When a man who grew up in the Soviet Union tells you that he sees America normalizing Soviet-style lies and propaganda, maybe you should listen to him.

The totalitarian Soviet Union where I grew up tried to dominate the truth, to distort it and control it. Reality was whatever the Party put out on the nightly news, or in the official newspapers, Pravda, which means "Truth" and Izvestia, which means "News."

It was increasingly obvious back then, even to communist true believers, that what we were being told didn't match the world we saw around us. As the joke went, "there is no news in the truth and no truth in the news." Eventually the disparity between truth and lies became too great; life wasn't improving, and more and more information was making it through the Iron Curtain. Denying reality became too grave an insult to our dignity, an underestimated ingredient in the spirit of revolution.
I have lived through several world-changing upheavals. I'm a post-Soviet citizen; the country of my birth ceased to exist in 1991. We enjoyed less than a decade of tenuous freedom in Russia before Vladimir Putin launched its post-democratic phase. My ongoing attempts to fight that tragedy led to my exile in the United States. Now my new home finds itself locked in its own perilous battle -- a battle to avoid becoming the latest member of the post-truth world.
President Donald Trump and his Republican defenders in Congress have followed his lead in declaring war on observed reality. Critical reports are "fake news," journalists reporting the facts are "enemies of the people," a phrase of Vladimir Lenin's, debunked conspiracy theories are repeated, and public servants testifying under oath about documented events are dismissed as Never Trumpers.
Unable to change the facts, Trump and his supporters instead try to shift the debate into an alternate universe where the truth is whatever they say it is today.

Trump repeats the same lies over and over, and it's hard to say which is more troubling -- that his followers don't realize that they are lies or that they don't care. Globalization and the internet may have made the world smaller, but now we're experiencing a counterattack, the regionalization of truth.

Has Trump improved the US relationship with Russia? What benefits has the US seen from these improved relations, if any?

Well, he'd like to gobble up the Ukraine too, and Trump is helping him there.

It was Obama who helped Putin invade Ukraine and take the Crimea.

Hoe does giving the Ukraine lethal tank killing weapons help Putin "gobble up" Ukraine?

Why, the politicians should not be listening to the voice of media, they should be listening to their constituents voices. If they are not, then they should be voted out.

But we all know that they do.

And if the Trump era has taught us anything it's that if there is something out there that has as big if not bigger influence on them than big money, it's big media.

But we all know that they do.

What they do, and should do, maybe different, however I did not lie.

If the electorate is not going to hold the Representative accountable, who's fault is that?

The Representative, or the voter?

If you honestly think pol's don't listen to what the media says....you did.

The voter...always has been always will be, that's a responsibility of citizenship the people can't avoid.

Media's role is to inform the voter not politicians. Most media platforms are a propaganda arm of the democratic party. Try googling anything with a conservative viewpoint, not much out there!

Russia is a criminal enterprise and that's the reason that trump wants you to believe that they are friends of the US. Trump and Putin are mob bosses, unfortunately for the US, trump is a punk and a bullshit artist

.

I can not put my self inside each and every politician in the United States mind or else where in the world, to know what they are thinking, or acting upon. However what i wrote was not a lie.

You could try to call it a fantasy, or a pipe dream, or wishful thinking, all those would be fair, but I did not lie.

Pick a better word, then we might agree.

Let’s look at the biggest enemy the United States currently has, the Russians.

This original statement is wrong. The Russians are criminal thugs but no-where near as potent a threat as the Chinese.

Russia is falling apart, a dwindling population and a dire economy, the people are being robbed blind by their own rulers.

I thought media's only role was to make money? Which means all will slant their content to be appealing to their audience.

You'd certainly THINK so, wouldn't you?

But certain networks have a political agenda, and they have seemingly become willing to lose audience & ratings in order to help shield & protect the Democratic Party, of which they have become nothing more than a mouthpiece. CNN's ratings are in the toilet since they've willing become the Fake News anti-Trump news network, reporting on those stories pre-approved by the left!

The media is SUPPOSED to be unbiased, but the only network currently trying to cover all sides is the FOX News Channel, and their numbers have risen accordingly, as people (both left & right) trust FOX to tell it like it is. President Obama deeply disliked FOX as they were the ONLY news network that didn't regularly fawn all over him.

So yes, Fuzzy - FOX is both making money and doing its job!

What a load of shit, Dump. Yes FOX makes money, but their "News" channel is a load of shit. Even real journalists have a hard time there. Most of their "Commentary" programing is "White Power Hour+Hannity!"

But the money comes from the Football, movies and sports channels.

Outrage and circuses, to delude the great unwashed, uneducated masses that they have to have the "Established Order" or a "New World Order" or a "Glorious ever conquering Hero!" to keep them safe in their daily struggle to grow free and happy.

When they need to be told that we have only a slippery grip on "Order and Law" and it takes great vigilance to keep the ass holes at bay, both foreign and domestic.:)
