As with any forum where you can remain anonymous people can confess to experiences without fear of being exposed. At the same time I've fictionalized some stories slightly because the real truth I think wouldn't be believed, like they say truth can sometimes be stranger than fiction.
So recognize your anonymity and share your personal thoughts?

I think sometimes our experiences aren't taken as true. I get what you mean though. I share about my mom and I, and sometimes people PM and ask if it was a fantasy or real.....I don't care what they think. I know what haopened between her and I....for me....reminiscing about my relationship with mom and writing about it is such a turn on....I know it all happened and that's all good for me.....;)

I leave a lot of details out for the very same reason.

I share here because I can't share really anywhere else (apart from one very close girlfriend), and as a woman I like to share. that's head, I type some of my experiences out and I think holy shit, that is not very believable for most people... So a lot of it is toned right down.

For example the story of my husband and his mother... I know what he tells me is true because they have some old VHS tapes and an old VHS player which, remarkably it's still functional.

it makes me conflicted about how much I should fictionalize it vs the truth.

If I write something here its always true unless I say it's a fantasy of mine. Like you Goodson I don't really care if people believe me or not I know what have and haven't done.

What a shame that you feel you can't be completely open and honest about true experiences because of other people's reactions. My opinion is that it's the doubters and disbelievers with the issues, possibly due to a lack of experience, insecurities, jealousy etc. So especially in a place like this where you can express and be yourself just ignore the haters and let it all out for your own benefit and for those who enjoy reading about the fun times you've had x
 
I am all for everyone's stories. There will always be people that doubt, but then they should just scroll on. No use in being a butt about it. And, I love details.
