At the theater, Ad Astar...

On TV, a documentary on WWI by Peter Jackson, "They Shall Not Grow Old." Simply amazing effort by Jackson...

I re-watched the M. Night Shyamalan movie Signs. Loved the movie, and there are probably still people who think it was about aliens invading Earth.

Midway - VERY accurate based on a number of books I've read. I like that they made the (until now) anonymous hero of Midway the main character in the movie. Seems like justice.

Looking for mindless entertainment while jogging, I found "The Darkest Hour," which I watched because, well, I am a nerd, and it was there.

A sci-fi flick shot in Moscow, with Olivia Thirlby and I was intrigued

It was....they took an interesting approach to aliens and had a clever way to explain the lack of carnage and extras.

The Art of Racing in the Rain....... absolutely loved this movie. I cried, I laughed, I cried again & have a new crush with Milo Ventimiglia

I took the kiddo to see it last weekend. I thought it was pretty dark and not as “fun” as the first one. I wasn’t a fan.

The plot was much more complex. Dont get me started about the link to our political climate today....but all Disney movies are dark. Too much singing. It wasnt bad. But it was no Tangled...the last really good classic from Disney imo. Still worth the matinee price

Jo Jo Rabbit - beautiful, funny and thought provoking. Inspired a good discussion of personal beliefs and responsibility vs life or death decisions with the teenagers who call me mom.
