After the smoke settles
After the smoke of the smoke screen settles to the earth from the relentless tug of the gravity of reality what will be left? Just a pile of bullshit with Adam Shit sitting in the whole pile with Nancy trying to dig her way out.
It will be very fun to go back over some of these posts in the future and see how totally inside-out and ass-backwards so many of these emotion driven comments really were. Not that the weight of reality will change anything. The Russia hoax should have been a wakeup call but wakeup calls only work on people that are sleeping not people that choose to remain in a self induced coma.

Except CLinton never had Trump's consistently bad polling numbers, and he never had the level of public support for impeachment that Trump has now.
Trump is the most hated, unpopular POTUS ever. He will never get above the 38% of braindead supporters.
If the Senate keeps him in office, a lot of them like Susan Collins are toast. Good chance they'll lose the Senate.

If the D's keep the House and take the Senate, Trump will be (re)impeached and then removed from office within DAYS of the new Congress being sworn in.
The ONLY question is whether Paleosi will accept her new job as VP or not.

This is why the whole impeachment thing is a charade.
They aren't going to get rid of Trump before the election. They also won't pick up the necessary seats to ensure that they can get rid of him after he's reelected.
Thus, Butters' fantasy remains just that.

To make the case that the preponderance of hearsay "evidence" is sufficient to defeat executive privilege.
I don't think that they ever expected that Trump would release the memorandum which was specifically stored on a non State Department server because previously the whistleblower or others had delete the contents of calls with world leaders
During the Mueller investigation Trump did not invoke executive privilege even though he could have.
What they're trying to do is set the stage for unlimited fishing expeditions by shouting, "What is he hiding?!??" each and every time he chooses not to wave his executive privilege.
That was, at least to me, a pretty dumb move by Trump.
As was him releasing the non verbatim transcript of the Ukraine call.

Ambassador Yovanovitch was the official United States ambassador to Ukraine, responsibile for representing American interests. She did not, however, represent President Trump's personal interests in the Ukraine, Rudy Guiliani was point man for Trump's crass bribery and extortion attempts. Trump threatened the ambassador both publicly and privately because she would not represent his personal bribery and extortion plans in Ukraine.
That's why she was there. To get his threats on the record.

Jim Jordan just got Yovanovitch, who's clearly a left-wing partisan, to admit she didn't do a single thing to prevent Ukrainian officials from meddling in our election in 2016. Her demeanor made it clear she did nothing because she supported foreign efforts to damage Trump.

You mean the memorandum of a complicated multi-party call involving both principles and expert translators prepared contemporaneously as are all other calls with world leaders? That "non verbatim <sic> transcript?
Do you mean the same sort of memorandum which the "wistleblower" relied upon when he still had access to them in order to leak conversations Trump had had with world leaders? You mean the sort of memorandum that was sufficient for that?
