If it worked what would it mean for the future?

If any political party can alter the results of an election by making up shit and tossing it at the POTUS and driving him out of office what would that mean for all future POTUS? If would mean that impeachment would be the new weapon of choice and all political parties would simply over-ride the popular vote. Really a bloodless coup.

It would be the end of any pretext of being a democracy in the USA. The level of hate and division in the country would be the fodder of a civil war. This is not a theory it is just a comment about what has happened to other "democracies" when deep state monsters are really running the show behind the scenes.
 
Gosh, you would think the founding fathers would have thought of that when they gave Congress impeachment powers. In the fucking Constitution.

or maybe it's all the 'made up' stuff that's being related to the american (and world) public via the auspices of all those well-respected, served-their-country, non-political career diplomats and government workers who know how to do their jobs, what constitutes irregularities that need reporting, and -- yanno-- facts? sure, the trump-enablers would rather believe ALL of those, including republican-voting witnesses, are 'making stuff up' because that's what they've been told to think. they cannot think for themselves.

The fact that the star witness into the President's intention never spoke to the President is a "silly" counter argument?

The fact that they are allegedly so poutraged that missiles were delayed because that supposedly benefits Russia and were not the least but concerned that Obama refused all military aid is a "silly" argument?

Trump looking into corruption, including Biden, is corruption?

Your team's television star lawyer led the witness on every single question. You don't get to whine about asking a witness to be specific in his testimony.

They keep selectively comparing this to a grand jury to an investigation or any other number of not very analogous processes, then they ignore everything that you would do if you were doing any such thing.

If This Were any kind of Investigation the only value that these witnesses have is two point investigator to whoever told them something first hand. It doesn't matter what they heard from people it matters with those people said and what they knew that permitted them just say it.

In a courtroom it would be stricken as hearsay. You don't put someone on the stand to testify that they heard that someone heard something.

What they're really offended by was that they were not on the phone call and they were not consulted after or before the phone call. The fact that they were cut out of the loop is what they're complaining about.

The Whistleblower was offended that he couldn't leak private conversations between world leaders anymore because he got caught and kicked out of the White House.

They were mortified that they couldn't get to these conversations in order to selectively leak portions of them because they were put on a more secure, non-State Department server to keep these assholes from doing just that.

They set this thing in motion assuming that the memorandum of the call wouldn't be released. Then they were going to claim that he was hiding something. When he didn't hide it now there just left spluttering

How can anyone vote for someone to be president when it's glaringly obvious that they are lacking any sense oh dignity, ethics or humanity?
