I’m an army brat through and through, and I am so thankful for all who are serving and have served in the military. It goes without saying, but I’ll say it anyway, that this includes the families, too. Thank you for all you do.

Having an uncle and a father who both served, I am forever grateful for their dedication and commitment to our country's security. They both had many friends who also served and ended up making the ultimate sacrifice. May they all rest in peace . Please stop for a moment around 11 am to think of those who protect our right to freedom.

Thanks to those that know the difference between memorial day, Veterans Day, and armed services day

+1.

While we reserve today for formally recognizing our veterans, we should remember them every day.

I would like to thank all the veterans that have served our great country. I am not a veteran but I greatly appreciate the sacrifices those that are have made so that I may enjoy our freedom.

I salute you all.

Thanks

This is at the Anthem Veterans memorial in Arizona. The amazing design aligns the openings in the pillars (which represent each branch of service) with the sun.

Only on November 11, at 11:11 will the holes align to show the display on the ground.

Will America ever extend its disgusting military fetishisation toward ACTUALLY CARING FOR THEM AFTER THEY LEAVE THE ARMY!?

I'm very happy to have served in an Army MEDEVAC company.

I'm even more happy when I'm thanked by someone as beautiful and kind as you.

Salute ...

Salute to my fellow Veterans.

I was an Army BRAT from 1959 -1975. Then I was on Active Duty from 1983-1992, U.S. Army Infantry, Airborne!

:)

I'm Anti-War, Pro-soldier. Thank you all so much for risking your own sanity and safety so the rest of us don't have to every time two groups with power stop trying to use their words to solve disputes.

I served in the 8th ID. Proud to have my son as a 4th generation soldier!
