Whistleblower

So that's why they started screaming about impeachment before he was even sworn in?

Is that why they are telling "the basketful of deplorables" to go fuck off,
we're going to undo your vote?
If he was such a clear and present danger, why did y'all fail to make
that case during the election?

I honestly do not think some people learned the lessons of the last election...

You do know that Repubs were talking impeachment before Obama was sworn in, right?

Good point. Dems didn't get the message out effectively enough even though Hillary did say he was a Russian puppet at one debate.

I've said it before here, I think people were tired of the same ol same ol DC insider stuff and Hillary wasn't more of the same ol. Trump appealed as a bull in a china shop and most folk didn't know what a fuck up he really was, having been mesmerized by his marketing of himself and his reality show, which made people think he knew what he was doing (read some insider stuff about the show). So he won by a slim margin of voters saying fuck it let's throw a monkey wrench into the machine and see what happens. And here we are.

You have a valid point too...

I thought I was talking to adults.
But if it means anything at all to you,
you most certainly are welcome to play on my lawn.

It's mostly weeds and crabgrass anyway, and the latter is the crabbiest thing here...

The young at heart (including people of all ages) are getting sick and tired of crabby old right-wingers.

Have you not figured out that this impeachment is NOT about winning a presidential election?

Have you bought into Trump's narrative to the point that you need to scream at the kids on your lawn? If so, OK, boomer.

I do?
You seem to.
Refresh my memory, which Republicans...

That's what I am saying.
Democrats do not want to have an election.
They want to have a coup to let any other Republican know,

we did it to him and we'll do it to you. We have the press in our pocket.

(Which is why all of y'all hate FOX News so much.)

Again with the kids on the lawn. *yawn*

Why don't you do the muppets in the balcony meme too...

Cute little paranoid theory, boomer.

Go gum on your lime Jello!

While I do not approve of your style,
your point is valid as to the number of boomers
that they consider to be valid and worthy replacements for Trump.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but "my style" doesn't care whether anyone "approves" of it or not.

The best was a tweet last night that read Ok, Bloomberg. :D

I lived through the Presidential race where McGovern was defeated by Nixon.

I know how right-wing and selfish the American electorate tends to be, so I don't hold any illusions that Medicare-for-All is going to fly. I also don't think that a more realistic policy like that of Buttigieg will prevail, because he happens to be gay and the same old stupid electorate will reject that.

Bloomberg is probably aware of this situation, but I agree that another conservative billionaire will not exactly energize the race.

This is so funny it's tragic.

Rich old white men bad - Rich old white Bernie good!

The list of hypocrisies goes on and on and on...

I know this is all so difficult for you to understand, boomer.

Are you ready for your daily glass of warm milk?

Not true, but...

Do you have any concern at all about how Trump is behaving and/or conducting his administration and presidency in light of reports about his erratic behavior and in light of his impulsive decisions that impact nations and lives? Do you have any concerns about trump being utterly beholden to Russia because they have loaned/invested so much money to him?

No, the president hasn't done anything that could be defined as high crimes and misdemeanors. He's done noting wrong. Contrary to deep state concerns, the President makes the foreign policy of the United States, not Lt. Colonels or CIA spies on the NSC. The State Department and Foreign Service employees serve at the pleasure of the President and are there to carry out the President's foreign policy, not to define it or undermine it. The President is in no way "beholden to Russia" and four investigations, millions of dollars, an army of investigators failed to turn up a single iota of evidence to back up the deep state conspiracy lie that he was. It's probably best you forget that line of bullshit because it makes you look bad to people who have paid attention.

I thought, least according to everything I have read, "high crimes" and "misdemeanors" are decide by the house through the Impeachment process.
They are not all actually laid out in law.

Last time it happened the party that pushed it through, suffered in the following election for that.

So why all the "defence/offence", seems the logical course of action is to let the process play out, and then wait for the electorate to "punish" the party at the next election, if the electorate so decides?

The President setting foreign policy is supposed to be for the NATION, not for Donald J. Trump personally.

It is a High Crime to abuse the power of his office for his own gain, which is exactly what he did.

Ukraine pretending to investigate Joe Biden helps not the United States. That is not "American foreign policy." That is Donald Trump helping himself in his own election bid. Impeachable.

That he did this by stealing Congressionally approved taxpayer funds in an extortion scheme is also not "American foreign policy." That too is a High Crime worthy of impeachment.

Of course, to understand this you have to understand that Donald Trump does not = "the United States" or "our country." That is what they call a dictator, and Trump is POTUS of the US, not dictator.

Feel free to keep your head in the sand.

Fair enough. Let what Trump touches for his own personal gain die.

They did not find election collusion, that doesn't exonerate him of everything...he's pretty good at letting his subordinates go to jail while he keeps a distance. Not finding collusion does not mean he is not corrupt or not beholden to Russia. Read up on the man and his connections and Russian financing. Start paying attention.

1. Where is the personal gain you speak of?

It is a High Crime to abuse the power of his office for his own gain, which is exactly what he did.

2. Where is the high crime?

Ukraine pretending to investigate Joe Biden helps not the United States. That is not "American foreign policy." That is Donald Trump helping himself in his own election bid. Impeachable.

3. There's no pretending about it. Joe Biden may have peddled influence.

That he did this by stealing Congressionally approved taxpayer funds in an extortion scheme is also not "American foreign policy." That too is a High Crime worthy of impeachment.

4. Look up the definition of stealing, I think you're confused!

Of course, to understand this you have to understand that Donald Trump does not = "the United States" or "our country." That is what they call a dictator, and Trump is POTUS of the US, not dictator.

5. Duly elected by the people and won the electoral college, you may not like it but that's the way it is. Removing a president because you don't like him and by coup is against the constitution.

Here’s a few. Feel free to dismiss some because of bias confirmation but they do cover quite a range of political leanings as you go down the list.

Some folk probably do want him gone because they hate him. Others want him gone because he is incompetent, weakens the us and is a Russian puppet.

Incompetent because Billionaires don't know what they're doing.
Incompetent because his policies have created the greatest economy in 60 years.
Incompetent for having the balls to take on the Chinese and punish them for stealing our technology and undermining our institutions.
Incompetent for building up the United States military after being depleted by Deep State globalist policies to police the World.
Incompetent for backing out of hair brained agreements that benefit people who hate us.
Incompetent for wanting to defend our own borders and for believing the safety and well being of the American people is the first duty of the American government.
Incompetent for carrying out all of the promises made to the American people who elected him and accomplishing all of it while defending himself against a criminal conspiracy that would, in other times and places, put those conspirators in front of a firing squad or under the gallows.
Incompetent for defending himself and for wanting to rid the government of people who put their interests before those of the American people.

Show me some "evidence"

Fair enough. Let what Trump touches for his own personal gain die.

There is no personal gain. Show me the evidence the President has gained personally from his presidency.

Not finding collusion does not mean he is not corrupt or not beholden to Russia. Read up on the man and his connections and Russian financing. Start paying attention.

Quote the statutes and specific evidence he violated them. There was no illegal collusion between the President and the Russians. Show me the "evidence" he is a Russian agent, or that he has committed treason. You folks have said this all along but haven't produced an iota of evidence to back up your sedition.

Incompetent because Billionaires don't know what they're doing.

He's a rich grifter, alright.

Incompetent because his policies have created the greatest economy in 60 years.

That's borderline delusional.

Incompetent for having the balls to take on the Chinese and punish them for stealing our technology and undermining our institutions.

Trade wars are easy to win! How's it working out?

Incompetent for building up the United States military after being depleted by Deep State globalist policies to police the World.

Why do we need to beef up the military if we want to bring our troops home from endless wars?

Incompetent for backing out of hair brained agreements that benefit people who hate us.

And in doing so creating gaps in leadership and our place at the table so that China and Russia will have far more influence in the world.

Incompetent for wanting to defend our own borders and for believing the safety and well being of the American people is the first duty of the American government.

Nobody wants open borders despite Repub talking points.

Incompetent for carrying out all of the promises made to the American people who elected him and accomplishing all of it...

Drain the swamp! Build the wall and Mexico will pay for it!

...while defending himself against a criminal conspiracy that would, in other times and places, put those conspirators in front of a firing squad or under the gallows.

Time will tell, won't it.

Incompetent for defending himself and for wanting to rid the government of people who put their interests before those of the American people.

Again with the delusional...

Show me some "evidence"

Read a book. Start with Bob Woodward.

There is no personal gain. Show me the evidence the President has gained personally from his presidency.

Mar a largo. His DC hotel. Golf courses. Hotels where government employees have been required to stay. You will claim that he has essentially divested himself of his business, but you'd be a fool to actually believe it.

Quote the statutes and specific evidence he violated them. There was no illegal collusion between the President and the Russians. Show me the "evidence" he is a Russian agent, or that he has committed treason. You folks have said this all along but haven't produced an iota of evidence to back up your sedition.

lol, sedition. I never said there was election collusion. You are so deep into Trumpworld you would not believe any evidence that was presented to you. Besides, he doesn't have to be an actual double secret undercover agent to be financially beholden to Russia or to be its useful idiot and be susceptible to influence and pressure.
