Whistleblower

The same Graham that says he is not going to read the impeachment transcripts and repeatedly called Sonland Sunderland?

I think he is both providing an incompetent defense and holding his hands over his ears.

Your ears have been plugged since day one.

Yes, he’s a patriot. Get over it. It’s by no means all anyone needs to know.

He's a "domestic enemy" who needs to be tried and put in prison with the rest of the resistance. Trump had been in office a week when this turd first tweeted the beginning of a coup. Put on your Snuggy and roast another marshmallow.

Looks like two media outlets conspired to retaliate against a whistleblower.

Meanwhile, they’re claiming Resistance talking point that merely identifying Ukraine leaker — even though he’s protected from retaliation— is unacceptable. Interesting

Looks like Schiff's staff accidentally leaked the whistleblower's name in a released transcript last night, tried to pull it down but it's still out there.

So you’re not a fan of the constitution?

You should watch more YouTube while bingeing on your emergency survivalist food rations. 🙊

To which part of the constitution. . .that you demonstrate no reverence for. . do you obliquely refer?

It was reported yesterday and it's all anybody should need to know:

'Coup has started,' whistleblower's attorney said in 2017 posts calling for impeachment

Mark Zaid, one of the attorneys representing the intelligence community whistleblower at the center of the Democrats' ongoing impeachment inquiry, tweeted conspicuously in January 2017 that a "coup has started" and that "impeachment will follow ultimately."

Then, in July 2017, Zaid remarked, "I predict @CNN will play a key role in @realDonaldTrump not finishing out his full term as president." Also that month, Zaid tweeted, "We will get rid of him, and this country is strong enough to survive even him and his supporters."

Amid a slew of impeachment-related posts, Zaid assured his Twitter followers that "as one falls, two more will take their place," apparently referring to Trump administration employees who defy the White House. Zaid promised that the "coup" would occur in "many steps."

Fake news.

Sen. John Kennedy: "I didn't mean them as disrespectful... If people think they're disrespectful, this is America. You're entitled to your opinion."

They agonized over what to do since early August, but the aid was finally released two days before the CNN interview was to happen. That was after Trump’s decision to withhold the aid exposed.

KIEV, Ukraine — It was early September, and Ukraine’s new president, Volodymyr Zelensky, faced an agonizing choice: whether to capitulate to President Trump’s demands to publicly announce investigations against his political enemies or to refuse, and lose desperately needed military aid.

Only Mr. Trump could unlock the aid, he had been told by two United States senators, and time was running out. If the money, nearly $400 million, were not unblocked by the end of the fiscal year on Sept. 30, it could be lost in its entirety.

In a flurry of WhatsApp messages and meetings in Ukraine’s capital, Kiev, over several days, senior aides debated the point. Avoiding partisan politics in the United States had always been the first rule of Ukrainian foreign policy, but the military aid was vital to the war against Russian-backed separatist forces in eastern Ukraine, a conflict that has cost 13,000 lives since it began in 2014.

By then, however, Mr. Zelensky’s staffers were already conceding to what seemed to be the inevitable, and making plans for a public announcement about the investigations. It was a fateful decision for a fledgling president elected on an anticorruption platform that included putting an end to politically motivated investigations.

Finally bending to the White House request, Mr. Zelensky’s staff planned for him to make an announcement in an interview on Sept. 13 with Fareed Zakaria, the host of a weekly news show on CNN.

This entire conspiracy against the President isn't constitutional.

Not true, but...

Do you have any concern at all about how Trump is behaving and/or conducting his administration and presidency in light of reports about his erratic behavior and in light of his impulsive decisions that impact nations and lives? Do you have any concerns about trump being utterly beholden to Russia because they have loaned/invested so much money to him?

Eric Ciamarella, the CIA analyst identified as the likely whistleblower behind the Democrats' partisan impeachment inquiry, was cited in Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report on nonexistent collusion between Donald Trump and Russia. In fact, the Mueller report cites Ciaramella's May 2017 email summaries of a meeting between Trump and Russian officials — summaries leaked to a New York Times reporter. After citing Ciaramella's emails, the report quotes the Times story.

The Democrats launched their impeachment inquiry based in part on the report of an anonymous whistleblower who warned about a July 25, 2019, phone call between Trump and the president of Ukraine. Democrats emphasized the whistleblower even after Trump released a transcript of the call.

While Trump and Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) have called for the unmasking of the whistleblower, Democrats have insisted that anonymity is vital for his protection. Some details have leaked, however: the whistleblower is reportedly a former and current CIA analyst with connections to former Vice President Joe Biden. RealClearInvestigations' Paul Sperry did some sleuthing and claimed to have identified the whistleblower as Ciaramella. Ciaramella was Biden's guest at a State Department banquet in October 2016.

The whistleblower also met with Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) before filing his report. His lawyer, Mark Zaid, celebrated a "coup" against Trump and predicted his impeachment in 2017.
