I'm thinking this place is nuts. I thought it was meant to be a fun place.

I have had 2 separate women message me thinking I was their ex's new girl. First of all, they are your exes, so why should you care? And second, it is possible for men and women to interact and just be friends.

One of them pretended to want to befriend me just to get to know the woman she thought was his new fling. And she let me know that she will ALWAYS be part of his life. And then I watch her play the victim knowing she's harrassing him. This is totally fucked up.

This should be made into a soap opera. I'm off to work.

SWMBO's parents moved from the family home to a retirement home probably 30 years ago or so. They did a clear out when they did that. Over time, they've continued to clear out more and give things away.

SWMBO's father passed away a few weeks ago and my MIL did a bit more clearing out afterwards, giving things of my FIL's to people that they would mean something to. My MIL and FIL have planned well. I wish I could say my own family had done so well in that regard.

Actually, there is quite a bit of crossover between pet play and littles... so there’s bound to be someone out there.

So far it's been a massive cleanout of my grandparent's house with decades of clutter. Then it was the same at my parent's house with the added necessity of gutting out the kitchen and laundry room for postponed plumbing repairs which ended up being a total plumbing and flooring replacement. So... a more spartan lifestyle in household furnishings is really preferable.

Our plan at retirement is to massively downsize from the Chateau D'Zaster to a much smaller, more energy efficient, easier to maintain and clean place with comfortable, but spartan furnishings.

This place is 99% awesome but, as always, the 1%.

I've never had nosey exes (that I know of) but the current girls who befriend you to see how close you are to their guys is a thing I've just been awakened to! I was way to naive to see it when it happened to me. * whatcha gonna do?

I feel like I’m in the movie Shallow Hal sometimes.

There are people that everyone seems to find attractive that I just cannot see what they see (not because of physical appearances, so slow your roll before jumping my ass about tearing down people because of looks) but because their personality just ruins it for me.
The meanness and hatefulness that oozes out of them, the snark and biting remarks just makes the outside appearance not appealing in the least
