Thinking about seeing a dog in the back of a pickup truck from some distance, and asking the woman who got out of the truck and walked toward me if I could pet her dog or if he bit. She said it was fine. Turned out to be three pit bulls in the back of the pickup, and they were sweet as could be. Then a couple pulled up with an adorable child, probably less than two years old, sitting on his mother's lap--in the driver's seat, for Heaven's sake--to look at me petting the dogs. I was more concerned about the welfare of the child than the dogs. But then we all used to ride around in reckless ways.

I’ll shade on smokers, even those I care about. If you continue to smoke you are going to die a long, painful, lingering death while those around you have to watch. Older generations may not have known better but if you are old enough to be on lit you know better and not quitting now is just kind of a terrible thing to do because someone loves you and doesn’t want you to die.

I don't get it.

It's an addiction that will ruin the health of the smoker and can impair the health of those around them. Second-hand smoke exposure is insidious. I have no kind thoughts pertaining to the cooperate tobacco machine and what they've done to make cigarettes even more addictive. Whenever a friend gives up smoking it makes me feel good to see them succeed at it.

Smoking is my number one pet peeve, next to hipsters. I have friends that smoke and I am all for someone’s right to smoke. But, my lord, that is some smelly shit. I’ve gotten into several arguments with people blowing their fucking smoke on me as I walk out of a restaurant or store. They’re gathered around the front creating a smoke cloud, unaware that it’s fucking gross to those who don’t smoke. Or just completely selfish and they don’t care.
