THe 145th Week of Donnie's Demise!

Hundreds of thousands expected to join ‘historic nationwide mobilization’ on eve of Trump impeachment vote

A coalition of progressive advocacy groups on Friday announced plans for a “historic nationwide mobilization” across the U.S. on the eve of the House’s yet-to-be-scheduled vote on articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump.

Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to take to the streets around the country, said the “Nobody Is Above the Law” coalition, which includes MoveOn, Public Citizen, Indivisible, and Stand Up America, as well as more than a dozen other organizations.

Impeach, Convict, Remove and Incarcerate!

‘This is Mussolini’:
Former four-star general warns of Trump’s ‘watershed moment in national history’

On Friday, President Donald Trump ordered the entire federal government cancel subscriptions to The New York Times and The Washington Post.

Both newspapers have been honored with Pulitzer Prizes for their coverage of the Trump administration.

Former four-star General Barry McCaffrey was appalled by Trump’s announcement.

"The White House Trump statement telling the entire Federal Government to terminate subscriptions to the NYT and Wash Post is a watershed moment in national history. No room for HUMOROUS media coverage. This is deadly serious. This is Mussolini."

Too Dumb to be Hitler!:D

Whatever comes down needs to shame the name so thoroughly that none of his spawn would even dare to run for office.

‘They look like fools’: Ex-GOP lawmaker calls out ‘stupidity’ of Lindsey Graham and Matt Gaetz’s defense of Trump

Fools, Morons, Imbeciles and Gomerts!

On MSNBC Saturday, former Congressman David Jolly (R-FL) lambasted the “stupidity” of President Donald Trump’s defenders for attacking Democrats on process rather than defending the president’s conduct. In particular, he singled out Senate Judiciary chairman Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL).

“What we’re seeing from House Republicans is this childish behavior. They’re displaying an arrogance, anger, immaturity. They look like fools,” said Jolly. “I’m surprised they can go home and look at their spouses and their kids in the eye with any sense of self-respect.”

Bill Barr blasted as ‘another nutty lawyer like Giuliani’ doing Trump’s bidding by MSNBC guest

Appearing on MSNBC on Saturday morning, the president of the Brennan Center for Justice leveled Attorney General Bill Barr by comparing him to the much-ridiculed Rudy Giuliani, adding that he is solely in his position to do President Donald Trump’s bidding.

Speaking with host David Gura, Michael Waldman lashed out at Barr for launching an investigation of the Justice Department officials involved in looking into Trump’s links to Russia.

All the PeeResidents Gomerts!

Company with ties to Trump's brother given contract
KOAM/FOX14 | Sat Oct 26, 2019 20:52 UTC

Kelly told Trump: Don't hire a 'yes man' or 'you will be impeached'
KOAM/FOX14 | Sat Oct 26, 2019 20:57 UTC

Former White House chief of staff John Kelly said that before he left the White House last year, he warned President Donald Trump not to hire a replacement who wouldn't tell him the truth or that...

Trump Stunk Up This Criminal Justice Forum, So Kamala Harris Went And Got Her Own

Tomorrow, October 26, Senator Kamala Harris will join students and the broader Columbia community to discuss criminal justice reform instead of participating in the 2019 Second Step Presidential Justice Forum at Benedict College.

"Donald Trump is a lawless President. Not only does he circumvent the laws of our country and the principles of our Constitution, but there is nothing in his career that is about justice, for justice, or in celebration of justice."

While one's first instinct might be to go "Oh no, what are you doing? Yes, it's gross that they gave Trump an award but it also seems like a bad idea, tactically, to skip any forums at this point!," the whole thing has very much worked in her favor. Not only is she holding a roundtable discussion on criminal justice reform with students and residents of Columbia on her own today at 2pm, the mayor of Columbia is also setting up another, separate criminal justice reform forum at Benedict College that will not be tainted by the likes of Donald Trump.

Kamala for AG 2020!

She's Black, she's female and she has a Hardon for fucking up Trumpsters!:D

‘Shocking abuse of power’: Jim Comey says Congress ‘has no choice but to pursue an impeachment inquiry’

Former FBI Director James Comey said there was “no choice” but impeachment during an interview at Politicon with MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace.

“The House has no choice but to pursue an impeachment inquiry. All I know about the facts are coming from news accounts,” Comey said.

“If the news accounts are accurate, the president engaged in a shocking abuse of power, and if the facts are accurate, I don’t know how a member of Congress could bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution without pursuing this,” he said.

Well he would know about abuse of office.

Trump ignited ‘real frustration’ within the military by spilling secrets about ISIS raid: NBC reporter

During a segment on MSNBC this Monday, reporter Peter Alexander gave an update on a military service dog that was wounded in the raid that killed ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi after it chased the jihadist militant into a tunnel and cornered him.

Alexander reported that the dog will be okay, but added that the military community is upset that the general public is even talking about the dog, thanks to President Trump’s willingness to divulge key details about the raid.

Yeah, to the Russians!

‘Live by the sword, die by the sword’: Morning Joe says Trump has only himself to blame for ‘lock him up’ World Series chant

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski took no joy in the jeering chants against President Donald Trump at the World Series, but they said he had brought the hate on himself.

The “Morning Joe” hosts were dismayed that the crowd showered boos that registered 100 decibels as Trump was announced at the Washington Nationals-Houston Astros game, and then chanted “lock him up” — inverting the president’s campaign rally taunts at Hillary Clinton.

“It was sort of startling and sad to hear those chants of lock him up, yesterday from the crowd,” Brzezinski said. “I didn’t take pleasure in that.”

Scarborough agreed, but said the president was to blame for the poisonous political atmosphere.

And Joe and Mika are guilty of hyping Trump in 2016 too! WIthout their free advertizing Donnie might still be a private instead of Creep in Charge!

‘Not one of your klan rallies’: Internet breaks into mockery after Trump is booed at World Series

President Donald Trump had a harsh reality check while attending Game 5 of the World Series Sunday night. While the president is used to being flooded with well-wishers and adoring fans, in a crowd that isn’t controlled by his campaign or the White House, things can get hostile.

Such was the case when about one hour into the game, a booming voice at the ballpark announced Trump and the first lady. The crowd erupted into loud boos and chants of “lock him up!”

The moment of realization was not lost on the president, who quickly turned from all smiles to a look of clenched anger.

Capitalism and socialism are dying relics of the industrial age, but developing a new economic system could take centuries. I am looking for a candidate who leans towards practical solutions, without religious belief in any -ism or party.

Wrong thread. I meant to post that in the Democratic Fucktussle.

Former Bush economist renounces the Republican Party: ‘Count me out’

On Monday, Harvard economics professor Greg Mankiw, a former adviser to President George W. Bush and a popular author of high school economics textbooks, announced on his blog that he is renouncing the Republican Party.

“The Republican Party has largely become the Party of Trump,” wrote Mankiw, who is known for writing the 10 Principles of Economics. “Too many Republicans in Congress are willing, in the interest of protecting their jobs, to overlook Trump’s misdeeds (just as too many Democrats did for Clinton during his impeachment). I have no interest in associating myself with that behavior.”

“Maybe someday, the party will return to having honorable leaders like Bush, McCain, and Romney,” Mankiw continued. “Until then, count me out.”

THere seems to be a limit to how far Republicans will support Rethuglicunts!:)

Badass Judge Tells Idiot Trump DOJ To FORK OVER The EVERYTHING

Something very big has happened! No, not Trump golfing while the US military killed a big bad terrorist, and then staging a photo op to make it look like he personally shot the big bad terrorist in the middle of 5th Avenue. This big thing is a beautiful court ruling, a perfect court ruling, everybody who has seen it says it's perfect, telling Donald Trump he is full of shit and demanding that his servile Department of Justice hand over the 6(e) grand jury information from the Mueller Report. Also it calls Trump's Justice Department a total fuckin' idiot multiple times, in the most judicial language possible.

You love to see it.

The ruling came from DC District Court Judge Beryl Howell, and obviously it will be appealed, but it lays down some serious markers. Like for instance, it states definitively that yes, the impeachment inquiry is real, and it is a "judicial proceeding," despite White House lawyer Pat Cipollone's hilarious idiot letter and Republicans in Congress weeping and gnashing their teeth and calling it fake. Howell says in response to a brief filed by GOP "Hee-Haw" idiot Rep. Doug Collins, ranking member on the House Judiciary Committee, that "A House resolution has never, in fact, been required" to make an impeachment proceeding real, and calls arguments to the contrary "fatally flawed" and "cherry-picked." She further notes that "every other court to have considered releasing grand jury material to Congress in connection with an impeachment investigation has authorized such disclosure." So have fun with your appeal, dudes!

:D

‘It’s all about to get worse’: GOP at risk as Trump’s impeachment becomes a reality

In a column for Politico, conservative Charlie Sykes warned Republicans they better buckle up, because of the impeachment vote scheduled by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is likely to lead to more information about Donald Trump becoming public — and that can’t be good going into the 2020 election.

Warning, “it is all about to get worse: the evidence, the venue and the president’s conduct. There may be more smoking guns, the trial will be televised, and based on the past few weeks, Trump is likely to be more unhinged than ever,” Sykes had some advice for the party he has long belonged to.

Can it get any worse? Yep, the Rethug's can lose the Senate and become irrelevant for 20 years! Stained by the filth of Trumpisim and the unethical behaviour of his defence they can lose the 40% of conservatives who are not ass holes.

“You have to consider the possibility that there may be more transcripts, more tapes, more whistleblowers. The new evidence is not likely to be exculpatory, because the president’s conduct in pressuring foreign governments for dirt on the Bidens and obstructing justice has already been well documented,” he wrote, before adding, “Polls already suggest historically high support for the impeachment inquiry, and we have not even begun those public hearings. In short, pretending that the facts aren’t facts—that you’ll be safe behind your flimsy justification—is not going to help when everything is out in the open. Deal with it.”

Muhaha ha ha! :D

"GOP turns to familiar faces as they fear 2020 wipe-out
MSNBC | Tue Oct 29, 2019 18:54 UTC

Axios is reporting that some Republicans are privately concerned that 2020 could be catastrophic for them. The naysayers predict losses in both chambers of Congress and possibly the White House. As a result, they're turning to some familiar faces for ... "

Personally I thought the booing and the "lock him up" chant were excellent. Time he had a dose of reality. What was particularly joyful was the changing look on trumps face as it dawned on him the crowd was booing. Also, the look on Melania's face which was more along the lines of "Oh Fuck! He's going to be in my ear all night, bitching about how ungrateful the plebs are!". And I'm sure she was right.

Lt Col Vindman’s testimony caused ‘nightmare scenario’ for Trump as impeachment ramps up

MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace on Tuesday blasted attacks on Fox News against National Security Council Ukraine expert Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman.

“We long abandoned the practice asking where the bottom is for Donald Trump and supporters in Congress, but we may finally have an answer. Today as decorated combat veteran Alexander Vindman — who works as the top Ukraine expert at the White House — headed to Capitol Hill to testify in the impeachment investigation into Donald Trump,” Wallace reported.

“He did so after being accused of being a spy by right-wing defenders of the president’s. It’s a despicable smear on a man who says he voiced his concerns about Donald Trump’s demand for dirt on political rivals from the Ukrainians out of a sense of duty,” she charged.

Rethuglicunts are despicable!

Close to a psychotic break? Harvard psychiatrist on Trump’s downward spiral

He has shown himself to be a malignant narcissist and a habitual liar. The Washington Post’s ongoing tally of Trump lies is now at almost 14,000. These are not “misstatements” or “gaffes” or the semi-harmful utterances of a fabulist: Donald Trump behaves like a pathological liar.

Republican leaders and others in Trump’s inner circle know that he is mentally unwell. They speak of that fact in hushed tones and in “off the record” conversations with reporters. This is but another example of how Trump’s Republicans are more loyal to power, and to him, than they are the country’s well-being.

Is there anything Donald Trump is not capable of?*

No. He literally commits crimes against humanity, the sort of thing that were taken up at the Nuremberg trial. Caging children away from their parents is a crime against humanity, and it’s hideous to think that there’s anybody supporting that, although we know there are many people who are. The abandonment of the Kurds, our allies, to a possible genocide is another potential crime against humanity. So, no, I don’t think there’s anything he’s not capable of doing.

Mike better use the 25th or he'll go down in flames with his pilot, like a tailgunner in a B-17!

Trump promised to eliminate the national debt. It has risen by $3 trillion
CBS News|5 hours ago
President Trump pledged to eliminate the national debt within eight years. Almost halfway to his self-imposed deadline, it has actually increased. The United States is $3 trillion more in debt than it was when Mr. Trump entered the White House. In nearly three years, it rose 15% — from $19.9 trillion to $22.9 trillion, according to the latest ...

Donny lied? Huh. 'Magine that.
