How’s That Impeachment Going?

Keep dreaming. That’s all a Democrat can do besides fantasizing about beating Trump in 2020 because everyone of the candidates is a dingbat.

On the one hand, [House Democrats] say that there is a clear case for impeachment that every voter can understand. On the other, Rep. Adam Schiff, who is leading the charge, is doing everything possible to keep the details surrounding the impeachment charge secret.

If impeachment is a sure thing, why hasn’t there been a vote on it yet?

If it’s so easy to understand, why is Schiff hiding key information about it from the public?

...

Schiff doesn’t believe that Trump deserves the chance to confront his accusers — to respond to the full content of every secret hearing hosted by Schiff. Instead, Schiff believes the White House should only be allowed to respond to the selective bits that he and his Democrat colleagues decide to leak to the media....

If the case is so “easy to understand,” then when is the vote? Where are the articles of impeachment? Why is Schiff hiding the ball?

They won’t answer those questions. And the march to impeachment suddenly doesn’t look so hot.

E. Scarry, Adam Schiff is hiding details about Democratic impeachment case because it's weak, Washington Examiner (Oct. 14, 2019)

Dumocrats love to gaslight, but that's because they are full of shit.

They sound like children who tease other children with, "I know who likes you, but I'm not telling."

I really love seeing the Deplorables moan and whine about not being able to grandstand during the Congressional process of developing Articles of Impeachment. Interviewing the witnesses out of the spotlight was a brilliant move by Adam Schiff and Pelosi.

Trump is really pissed about being impeached. He may escape conviction in the Senate, but he would then be the first impeached President to run for office.

And, in a re-election that he was impeached for trying to rig, no less.

Sometimes we have to be content with small measures of justice.

I think any President would be pissed about the possibility of impeachment. Especially one done under the present circumstances.

But hey, getting that "asterisk" next to Trump's name in the annuls of history is more important to some people.

"developing Articles of Impeachment" isn't a "Congressional process", dumbass, it's exclusively a House of Representatives process, which one partisan party has now turned into, for the first time in U.S. political history, an exclusively House Democrats process.

Congress refers to the House and Senate both, together. Since the Senate has absolutely no constitutional role in the House impeachment process, impeachment cannot in any correct way be cited as a "Congressional process".

What "I really love seeing" is now that the House Democrat partisan majority has unarguably shown America again how entirely repugnant political partisanship infects the House, little baby tit-for-tat Lindsey Graham proposes a resolution to do the repugnantlyly partisan same for the Senate, calling for the Republican majority there to pronounce the House Democrat majority impeachment process totally illegitimate as it stands right now, thus illegally negating the constitutional charge of the Senate to try impeachments. That means if the Senate Republican majority is as repugnantly partisan as the House Democrats are currently exposing themselves to be, then that resolution will pass and the Senate will simply refuse to consider any articles of impeachment at all. Period.

Imagine both chambers of Congress - the entire Legislative branch of the federal government of the United States of America, all 535 LAWMAKERS composing it swearing on oath to "support and defend the Constitution" - literally and publicly committing perjury of those oaths by, of all Americans, not obeying the Constitution and choosing to go their own political party partisan way(s).

There exists no clearer example of literal lawlessness.

You partisan hack bozos have no conscious awareness or care of the absolute lawlessness you're inflicting upon America; all you children care about is your silly little stupid political party games, your stunted minds marking up a partisan victory this time, taking a loss next time to the other repugnant political party partisans, never ceasing to play your anti-American game.

The ONLY good that'll come out of this time is you bozos just showing America even more how unnecessary and worthless you and your repugnant political party partisan game are.

It doesn’t matter if they impeach Trump or not. If he isn’t removed from office, I will still vote for him in 2020. Why? To keep a fucking Left wing dingbat out of office.

After Corey R. Lewandowski stripped off Nadler's Penguin costume and left him shivering in the limelight with nothing but a fig leaf, Schiff wants no part of entertaining trump defenders in his committee room, so he hides in his SCIF.

You seem to be mad about something:rose:

The Supreme Court will deal with Lindsey's proposal if the Senate decides to pull his stunt and refuse a trial, but I doubt Mitch would go for that tactic in the first place.

Hey, chill out Bigsly. There is some leftover lime jello in the dining hall for lunch today. I know you are scared, but a big old bowl of wiggly lime jello might help!

When a crime is under investigation, the cops and lawyers do not discuss it in public. That’s to protect the innocent. You should be applauding Schiff for keeping his mouth shut on the topic.

On the other hand, cabinet officials have stated, and Trump’s lawyer put it in writing, that they refuse to cooperate, to turn over documents, and to answer lawful subpoenas. That would get most folks fines and prison time until they came across.

Would now be a good time to remind Right wingers that elections have consequences? :D

Hey! Asseyes! Wake the fuck up to what you just said!
2016? Ring a fucking bell?

Nawwww....not with you.

He’s just gonna move the goal posts and come back to say: remember 2018 even though that wasn’t a presidential election year.

Don't be stupid, none of these "witnesses" on the Ukrainian phone call matter one wit, we have the friggin' transcript.

So what are the Democrats doing behind closed doors that makes them so afraid of transparency?
Absolutely nothing😂

Protecting the privacy of the accused. You have no right to know; you are not above the law.

What a dildo you are.

Are all these ambassadors and such, like Volker, and Taylor, accused of anything?
Simple answer dildo.....NO.

This whole thing that Schitt is doing, is above the law.
You are too stupid to see that.

What "law" is he violating?

Now the POSOTUS that you love? He thinks he's above the law. Hopefully Congress lets him know he isn't.

You really are a moron. Of course I'm talking about 2018 you moron. That was the whole point of what I said. If not for the 2018 election the House wouldn't be investigating Trump.

Lol, could you possibly be more of dumbass?

Why can I, and other peasants, Not watch these people testify?
