All Ford did for the poor is close shelters to make valuable land available for developers etc. and has forced the poor out of the city into the suburbs where it's harder and more expensive to access the necessary amenities to survive on the streets in -40°C.

I grew up playing Falcon Gold on PC. The Fighting Falcon will always have a special place in my heart.

I had Falcon 3.0 and played the shit out of it as a kid.

I love both the Falcon and the Tomcat rather equally from a fan perspective.

In DCS (flight sim) from a driver perspective? The realistic flight models seem to accurately reflect real life consensus....the Falcon is the one of if not the best 4th gen dog fighter.

That was a highly (pun intended) entertaining trip down memory lane I could do without.
As for Rob's s little brother...

It’s understandable that Premier Doug Ford may be sensitive to being booed at a public event.

After all, he endured loud, prolonged boos at the opening to the Special Olympics in May, at the Toronto Raptors’ NBA championship celebration in in June, and at the Toronto Caribbean Carnival in August, among other events...his government cancelled Canada Day celebrations at Queen’s Park just days before July 1 because they were so worried he’d be booed again.

Interesting how propaganda works.
The way he presented it (those vids. with a few immigrants of color fawning over him, what he said about the subway), he looked like the champion of the poor.

I'm sad to hear that, I used to like him. Such a colorful character and Canadians' embarrassment over him was funny. Even funnier, that American channels immediately picked on the story.

A part of my job is to manage the offices in my region. It’s a very small part of the job because I’ve elevated people in each office to admin most of the roles. I just care about the big decisions, those items that are going to hit my budgets. But today. Today has been one of those days where I’ve been left wondering why grown adults act like tiny toddlers in an office environment. We use large pint glasses because we drink a lot of Guinness and Black and Tans here, mainly because we have beer taps in our lunch rooms. Anyway, apparently dick heads can’t figure out that these large glasses can’t be put on the top rack of the dishwashers because there’s a utensil tray there and if you slam the dishwasher closed you will bust the glasses. And yet people still do it and I was confronted by a miffed maintenance tech holding a busted glass and I’m still not sure if he expected me to wave a wand and put the glass back together because that’s not one of my talents. Just remove the utensil trays and hide them. Done. This didn’t need me to stop my work on the project I’m tackling to tell him to do this. But also, people are assholes and I have no idea what their homes look like.

I think his lack of PCnness, just like Trump's, was what got him elected.

I'm not saying that they were better than others. God forbid.
But people got tired of perfectly-mannered, perfectly dressed politicians who espoused the same formulaic memes ( promote democracy and so on). Then screwed them over majestically.
Admitting that you're a flawed human was so refreshing.
Trump was clever enough to turn it into a brand.

That's why I'm amused by Putin too.
