What Happened to All the Impeachment Threads?

Earlier this month, there were about a half dozen threads going simultaneously about the so-called whistleblower and impeachment. In fact, I got into trouble because Lit had so many threads on this same set of subjects, that I was seen as "flooding" the fora with posts just because I used the same material to respond to each one. Now, I haven't seen any action on these threads for at least the past week.

Could it be because of news like this?

He boys and girls who have been brainwashed by socialism and all it's fake news outlets - don't worry about reality. Just ban everyone that has a different view because it is so frightening to live in a world where we are not all molded into the same group think. Run to a safe space. Maxine Waters had it right - tell everyone that doesn't conform to socialistic group think that "they are not welcome anywhere."

Run to the sand box and dig a nice little safe hole to stick your head in. It is nice a safe with your head in the sand.

But, to answer the question posted in the tread: When nothing burgers are gobbled up and there is nothing in the tummy then they move on to the next nothing burger because they are still hungry for some bad news about Donald Trump. It is the same reason that the signs were taking down form Glacier National park. You know the signs they put up a few years ago saying that because of global warming the glaciers would all be gone by 2020. Once they are exposed they just move on to some new fake news and pretend they were never wrong because they are never wrong.

Phrodeau actually used to debate based on some degree of logic and facts. I guess he simply got beaten so many times that he has now retreated to using typical Leftist evasions and name-calling. It's a shame, really.

It's not that the "proof" (supporting impeachment) was proven wrong. Nobody ever thought the "proof" was legit. But notice a pattern. Every time it looks like Trump is "Done For", the promised evidence evaporates or turns out to be garbage.

The Dems don't WANT to risk an impeachment trial. If they ever DO find legit proof they'll bury it themselves.

What they WANT is to keep the Dem base all stirred up and angry. Which, based on a quick glance of the thread titles in this forum, they're accomplishing.

I can hear the Pepto Bismol being splashed into glasses all over the country.

As long as the Dems keep up the pressure, Trump is a Shoe In for 2020.
