Thinking about sitting on the sacks of fertilizer in front of the old store earlier this evening when a dude rolled up in an SUV blasting a tune that intrigued me. When he got out, I asked him what he was listening to, and he said it was old school and on a CD, but he didn't seem able to recall who the performer was. I realized this guy was pretty stoned. He insisted on taking me back to his vehicle and started up the tune again. And we hung out in the parking lot grooving for a few minutes. Jesus H fucking Christ! Has everyone forgotten that the word "figuratively" exists? More than half the time people say "literally" nowadays, what they really mean is "figuratively." And while I'm ranting, would anyone ever say "between a rock OR a hard place?" No! The proper conjunction to use with "between" is "and," dammit! Just trying to defend civilization here. :D
