sunny and cool and bright outside. those dog days are gone, thank goodness! i was planning on finishing the patio today but since the builder's going to come pressure wash it, clear out all the dirt/sand i'd packed between and then cement between all pretty-like, that last little patch doesn't seem worth relaying. now, if i'd have only known H was going to suddenly ask about having that done as prices for other projects were discussed, i'd have finished it a whole lot sooner!
 
It’s cold and dreary here. I had a nice lunch out and will take a little nap before getting ready for dinner and a concert with friends that warm me to my soul.
 
Bright sun and 36°F, no wind, here. I've got some branch trimming to do in a bit. You don't take spruce branches off in the spring or summer because that will attract a swarm of beetles that may kill the tree.
 
PMS. I'm amazed he tolerates my wanting to kill him with such good humour.
 
hot-chocolate with a dose of bourbon maple sugar... yes, it's suddenly (and welcomingly) that kind of weather. H's chili's pretty tasty, too :cattail::cattail:
 
No sleep to be had, for weeks on end now. Up and down all night. :mad:

It is a retail therapy weekend.
 
Or not because the two artists I wanted to see from the Spring Crawl aren’t showing in the Fall Crawl. :(
 
Went to the art festival after breakfast. Saw some interesting things but nothing that made me part with any $$. Still some pretty cool stuff. And I'm back home before it gets too warm.

Fun. I rarely walk away empty handed. I just bought two amazing watercolors of jazz musicians last weekend.

I’m staying in and will make a big breakfast spread after I finish my coffee and get out from under my snuggly down duvet.

It's after noon here. Half the day gone. Get moving slugabed. 😋

I only have so much wall space and little storage. I'm a bit stingy inusing them up. :D
 
I made the Warhammer dollies, so I get waited on for the day. From breakfast in bed to chicken dinner.
