That 'booming' economy?

That’s some blatant partisan bullshit, even for you.

How is that partisan bullshit?

I'm not saying anything about any parties.

I'm saying the USA has the strongest and largest economy and you seem to be trying to refute that with bullshit deflections and name calling.

Can you point out any nation states out there with larger or stronger economy than the USA or not??

Democrats/Socialists/Democratic Socialists/Progressives/Liberals/Antifa - Did I get everyone?

They've been hoping for a recession since Bill Maher publicly stated it on his program. They hate Trump more than anything, and if it takes a recession for him to lose...they'll happily applaud.

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2019/aug/25/rooting-recession/

https://www.thenation.com/article/trump-recession-bill-maher/

That's how pathetic the left has become.

Liberals aren't part of the left....they are all voting for Trump, the most liberal person running for the WH right now.

Classic Liberals...yes. Unfortunately, the left has entirely distorted the meaning of the word liberal, which once had a honorable meaning.

Even social liberals, well to the right of the current DNC, so much so they are considered "alt-right adjacent" by the left.

Quit letting them win the language manipulation war, take it back, call them what they are, leftist.

Has Trump taken A LOOK at the economy?? The mega-wealthy people he gave huge tax breaks to are laying off workers, his childish trade wars are causing prices to go up while wages remain stagnant, his immigration policies and tariff wars are destroying America's farms, America's tourism industry is being destroyed and prescription drug prices are so out of control that people can't afford to buy insulin and other life-saving prescriptions!!

Poverty is up, homelessness is up, bankruptcies are up, and job creation is down.

Trump calls this a "booming" economy?

What did he call the Great Depression? An economic paradise?

My cat got hit by a car. Can you find a way to blame THAT on Trump?

Retail stores are suffering and it has NOTHING to do with Trump. You can blame that on Amazon and all the other online retail outlets.

"OH!!! The sun just went behind the clouds!!! It's that bastard Trump's fault!!!"

Keep in mind Jay lives in unpleasantville, most likely in the heart of a Blue State. You would think government assistance would provide ample care and access to the antidepressants he so desperately needs to see beyond the bullshit driving his TDS.

You're joking, right?

There are still more jobs available than workers to fill them. J. Cox, There are still 1.4 million more jobs than unemployed people, but the gap is closing, CNBC (Aug. 6, 2019).

Trump as been known to lie now and again (like every thirty minutes), and his original campaign manager has now told Congress that that is hunky dory as long as he isn't under oath, and especially fine if it's to the press (which is one of those lies too, as Corey lied to either the FBI or the Congress under oath himself).

Trump lies so much that his bankruptcy lawyers eventually refused to meet with him alone. When they met with him alone, Trump would lie about what was said to the other lawyers. They had to meet with him in groups or not at all.

(Reuters) - The U.S. manufacturing sector contracted in September to its weakest level in more than a decade as business conditions deteriorated further amid trade tensions between China and the United States, an industry report released on Tuesday showed.

The Institute for Supply Management (ISM) said its index of national factory activity fell to 47.8, the lowest reading since June 2009. A reading below 50 signals the domestic factory sector is contracting.

Uh oh....looks like Americans might have to start paying for those "living wages" if they want products.

I'm sure comrades on the left are super upset about that.

Don't quote facts at dawn! "She'll" just get one of her racist alts (probably bot) to be like "Black people don't deserve jobs!" because that's the kind of racist horseshit rape boys like bot/dump/dawn say.

Slowing Trade Hits Global Manufacturing

U.S. factory activity contracted for the second straight month in September and hit a 10-year low, triggering fresh concerns about the economy and a broad stock-market decline. The U.S. manufacturing readings were among several data points released Tuesday ...

Let's not forget that a lot of this market activity is companies buying back their own stock. It's not the common person who's benefiting but the already rich.

If Trump or the GOP really cared about the average person they would look at Corbyn's proposal for creating ownership of companies by giving employees stock. It would also give power to the working class and let their voices be heard on ownership boards.

Again, racist dawn/bot/dump would never suggest something like this because it wouldn't benefit the wealthy.

I see that racist dawn got busted for spamming shit which is fucking hilarious. Oh well, "she's" still got "her" bot and dump alts.

It used to be, it’s the economy, Stupid.

Now, it’s Stupid’s economy.

I wonder what DawnODay would have to say about this. No, wait . . . :D

I can't remember the name of the company, but back in the 1980s and '90s, there was a fairly large manufacturing company in the metro-Cleveland area that had that as one of their "guiding principals" almost since the company had been founded 25 or 30 years earlier. IIRC, they made a wide variety of specialized and custom-made large commercial and industrial type plumbing products.

Funny thing about such an obviously "liberal, socialistic idea" ...that company never had a bad year, had happy-as-hell employees, and always had a stack of top-quality resumes to pick from on the rare occasions when an employee died or retired. Their turnover was SO low that the multi-millionaire CEO handled all the hiring almost by himself.

I think Ben & Jerry's built their bazillion dollar company using a similar method too.

It wouldn't benefit individuals and prevents the pursuit of happiness......it's forced collectivism, anti-American bullshit. :)

But, but, but...what about 45's constant refrain of: "I've brought you all the GREATEST economy EVER in the history of the world!"

Sure, "Quadruple O" (Orange Oval Office Occupant) is probably dancing around the West Wing after the Fed cut, while also ignoring that a cut in rates in the middle of a "BOOMING economy with not even a hint of a recession for decades" is completely antithetical to sound economic policy. Anyone that stayed awake during Econ-101 in college knows that.

President Wide Load wasn't pushing the Fed for that cut because *OF* his "booming economy" ...he wanted it because he was scared shitless of going into 2020 with a recession to campaign on which is what all the numbers and indicators and people with actual economic sense were saying, and to an extent still are

But, of course he'll never admit that simply because the "bigliest brain is really smart" and never wrong.

.

In addition to destroying America's farms, Trump's policies are also causing a recession in American manufacturing (especially when it comes to manufacturing farm equipment like harvesters and tractors) and American trucking.

Destroying America's farms is already having ripple effects that damage other parts of the U.S. economy. And Trump's tariff wars are killing our ability to sell American goods overseas. September marked the worst month for U.S. manufacturing in more than a decade. And if farms and factories have nothing to sell, truckers end up with nothing to transport. It's all connected.
