Seeking a editor for somewhat graphic story

My story has been rejected 5 times. They keep telling me that I have misspelled words yet no words are underlined in the draft and that it has several punctuation errors in several places. I have spellcheck running at all times and the words I need help with I use Google for the correct spelling.
I have tried to contact several Volunteer editors on this site but have had no luck with any responses. I have had 3 stories published here and have tried to stay within the guidelines with all of them.
My stories are a bit on the graphic side and I am starting to think that might be what the issue is. But they won't come right out and tell me that. I have a few other stories that I have been working on. But if I keep running into these kinds of problems I don't see the sense in writing any more.
Any help or feedback would be much appreciated... Thanks

You could post three paragraphs (no more) here and see if anyone offers advice based on what they see.

I found sending a polite PM Laurel's way a good alternative. Explain your case and see what she has to say about it. Should have tried that two rejections ago, to be honest :)

I write Sci-Fi and Fantasy with pretty graphic content, fights are bloody and involve a decent amount of dismemberment and gore and some sexual encounters were rather unpleasant too. Didn't get rejected once on these grounds (but had some issues with nomenclature and technicalities).

Be aware that the rejection notices are generic responses - you won't get any advice specific to your story.

If the reason given for rejection is spelling and punctuation then fix your spelling and punctuation (most likely, incorrect dialogue punctuation). Thinking the reason is graphic (violence?) is probably irrelevant - there are separate rejection notes for unacceptable non-con and for snuff/extreme sexual violence.

I've got a bit of time to read it. Send me a PM and I'll flick you my email address. I'll need the most recent rejection details and the story either as a Doc file or google docs link.

Cheers
