Whistleblower

So, everyone defending Trump ready to participate in his civil war?

This should be a poll.

Republican PR team urges troll army to splutter "but but HEARSAY!"

Let's see, who has been "following orders" this past weekend? Hmmm?

Oops.

The kernel of fact near the center of the conspiracy theory is that there is, indeed, a new version of Form 401 dated August 2019.

A question on the form explicitly anticipates tips based on secondhand information, and asks the whistleblower to check a box: “I have direct and personal knowledge,” or, “I heard about it from others.” The Federalist used a screenshot of that field to illustrate its story.

What the article didn’t mention or screenshot is a nearly identical field gracing Form 401 since at least May 2018, making it impossible that it was added as an easement for Trump’s whistleblower. The major difference in the fields is that the old form includes three options instead of two, subdividing secondhand sources into outside source and “other employees.”

There’s a reason the form has allowed secondhand reports all along. The requirement for firsthand whistleblowing only is completely made up.

At the point there is proof of one of those impeachable offenses.

And even then why should (R)'s give a fuck?

(D)'s clearly don't give a fuck about the law.

Because, you know, Orange man bad. We can’t beat him if we don’t impeach him.

And now...

Add Australia’s leader to Trump’s list of forging nationals he sought help from.

And the list of impeachable offenses just keeps building.

At what point are the Republicans in Congress (and Pence and the Cabinet) going to realize, accept, and take action on the fact that Donald Trump, who is guiltier than sin of a multitude of criminal acts, has gone full-blown bonkers crazy? (I don't expect the Trumpettes on the board to have that much common sense and analytical capability.)

Don't know if it qualifies as impeachable necessarily because it's so far out of the bounds of what's normal that there's no precedent for it, but I would think routinely calling your political opponents treasonous and suggesting a civil war could come if you don't get your way are not really "insuring domestic tranquility."

I love it when God fearing, Jesus loving, bible clutchers claim hearsay is never admissible as evidence.

And, promoting armed revolution in the U.S. has historically not worked out very well for fanatics on both ends of the political spectrum. A lot of them did hard time, and one group lost its legal right to own other humans as slaves.

Normally, a President does not issue threats to his own citizens, but of course, this is the Trump era. As one poster said, keep giving him more rope.

He will continue to define the Republican Party until they run his fat ass out of office.

Accept he did find it credible and forwarded it to the DNI, sporto. ;)

Yeah, I don't "accept" that.

The previous form specifically says that he's not to forward it based on second-hand accounts. There's nothing wrong as I have said previously witg secondhand accounts triggering the IG looking into it but forwarding the actual whistleblower complaint without supporting corroborating evidence was specifically discouraged. Your explanation of WHY that preamble was excised four days before this new dossier was written is spurious, at best.

So I ask again. Where is the corroborating evidence? Where are first hand accounts of any of this?

Kind of convenient that the first possible opportunity that arose the day Mueller's testimony sunk you losers' battleship starts the next round of nonsense.

Brennan is calling for UNLIMITED number of so-called whistleblowers to forward ANYTHING that they think they know. If you or the other most prominent idiot on the board Fake Pilot happened to work for government you too, could pretend to be a whistleblower. It's nonsense.

Yeah. Imagine that.

Democrats sure do like to pierce the attorney-client privilege of Republicans but do the exact opposite with Democrats. Not only was Hillary allowed to have a lawyer with her during questioning which was not only not recorded but not even transcribed on 302 reports her attorney in addition was granted immunity from prosecution. Why would Hillary's lawyer need immunity from prosecution?

Apparently Trump may also have pressed Australia for assistance with the Mueller probe. 🤷

Waah, waah, waah....

Waah, waah, waah.... (His natural state)

Waah, waah, waah....

Waah, waah, waah.... (but in a bipolar, crazy way)

waah, waah, waah....

Waah, waah, waah.... (but in a "I try to hard to be an asshole and a hard guy," type of way).

God, this place is boring.

I wonder what you guys are going to sound like when all of your hopes and impeachment dreams come to an end and you have to wake up and listen to your President, Donald J. Trump, gloat about the failures and weaknesses of Democrats.

Where is the corroboration?

Oops, indeed.
Oh look...selective quoting by the master of out-of-context shitquoting!

Please note what little Queerbait left out
The IG isn’t going to forward it to the DNI if it can’t corroborate secondhand or indirect information. The whistleblower’s job is not to investigate. That is the job of the IG. In other words, Trump’s whistleblower didn’t go through some shady “deep state” backdoor. He or she followed the process, and government investigators found the firsthand evidence themselves.
(emphasis added).

You think they’re crying now, just wait until they have to deal with 4more years of Trump.

Wouldn't be his and I've been hoping the progressives will be dumb enough to jump since BLM shot a bunch of Dallas cops. :D The AntiFa attacks on ICE facilities were pretty exciting too.

Are YOU and the comrades ready to wage that socialist revolution should the cold civil war we are in get hot ???

I hear it's going to be led by She Guevara...

They can't even impeach him, this is all just theatre.

Ant attempt to subvert democracy because democracy didn't work out for them.

All it means is that the whistleblower was someone who could have actually been privy/witness to whatever the complaint was filed about....that is to say it's not just another CCN/NYT conspiracy theory or random nut off the street.

That's it.

Pretty far from definitive proof that Trump is guilty of high crimes.
