Fall is one of my very favorite times in the garden. Everything has one last flush of blooming and rush to grow. The everbearing strawberries fulfill their promise with a bumper crop when it seems impossible in the cool mornings to be picking perfect berries. There is so much to do to prepare for winter and yet all the plants seem to be saying what’s the rush?
