Pro-Trump bots dominated Twitter during Democratic debate flooding users with president’s taunts: report

According to Axios, the most shared content on Twitter during the Democratic debates in Houston, Texas on Thursday came from President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign — due mainly to promotion and retweeting by bot accounts.

The most-shared tweet was an eight-second video clip of an aircraft banner reading “Socialism will kill Houston’s economy! VOTE TRUMP 2020” promoted by @TeamTrump, the campaign’s official account.

Bots and Barr in the Fall of Trump's demise.

DOJ obstructs House impeachment inquiry – asks federal court to block release of Mueller Grand Jury files

In a stunning move Attorney General Bill Barr’s Dept of Justice late Friday afternoon filed a 40-page brief with a federal court, declaring the House Judiciary Committee’s impeachment inquiry is not an impeachment inquiry, in an attempt to block release of files related to the Mueller probe.

It appears to be an unprecedented act, in which the top law enforcement agency is attempting to block Congress from carrying out its constitutional duties.

If Congress says it an Impeachment, who is to say it's not? Bilious Bill Barr?

House Republicans battling Trump White House over fundraising that could cripple them in 2020

According to a report at Politico, rank and file House Republicans are in a war with the Trump White House over a new online fundraising initiative that is supposed to funnel small-donor money to their campaigns.

The report states that delayed launch of WinRed program, designed to counter Democratic fundraising, has become a bone of contention over complaints about data-sharing — with incumbents desperate to hold onto their seats in what is expected to be a high-turnout election.

Is Donnie setting up the rape of the Rethuglican Parties fund raising? Is this a siphon of the money House Rethugs need for re-election? Is this the official end of the Republican party are they being sucked dry by the Astro Turfing?

Here is Joy Reid mocking Trump’s ‘smoking hot beauty tips’ that likely pushed him over the edge into rage-tweeting

Since Donald Trump launched his attack on MSNBC’s Joy Reid long before her “AM Joy” show was broadcast, internet sleuths wondered what set him off and led him to pretend he didn’t know who she as he smeared her reputation.

On Saturday morning, Trump wrote, “Who the hell is Joy-Ann Reid? Never met her, she knows ZERO about me, has NO talent, and truly doesn’t have the ‘it’ factor needed for success in showbiz. Had a bad reputation, and now works for the Comcast/NBC losers making up phony stories about me. Low Ratings. Fake News!”

Watch as Trumikins says he likes Cowboy hats! "I'd never have to worry about my hair, no hairspray, my hair blowing in the wind..."

:):D:rolleyes:

Kellyanne Conway: It’s unconstitutional for Democrats to ’embarrass this president’ with impeachment

White House aide Kellyanne Conway on Sunday insisted that Democrats do not have a “constitutional basis” to embarrass President Donald Trump by conducting an impeachment inquiry.

Conway made the remarks while speaking to FOX News Sunday guest host Bill Hemmer.

“Complete nonsense,” she said when asked about the impeachment proceedings. “They need to get a messaging meeting and they need to read the constitution of the Democratic Party.”

“Americans, the Congress, they work for you,” Conway continued, talking over the FOX host. “And they’re wasting your money and your time trying to impeach a president where there are no high crimes and misdemeanors.”

She added: “Stop the nonsense of harassing and embarrassing this president and the people around him when you have no constitutional or legal basis to do so.”

KAC like a cat with a hair ball, coughs up a turd!:)

‘Possible war in the Middle East’: Editor explains why Trump’s visa attack on Iran is ‘lame’ response to oil field bombing

As the United States is searching for ways to draw down on decades-long wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, serious conflicts might be afoot, one Daily Beast reporter told MSNBC Sunday.

World News editor Christopher Dickey told host Kendis Gibson he doesn’t understand the point of barring Iranian diplomats from being able to come to the United Nations General Assembly meeting this fall. During a “Meet the Press” interview Sunday morning, Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) said that the U.S. should deny the visas. The statement prompted Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) to call her out for “warmongering,” and said she was out of touch with Americans who don’t want to get into another costly Middle East war.

“The Iraq War, President Trump has said, was the biggest geopolitical blunder of the last generation,” Paul told CNN’s Jake Tapper. “It destabilized the Middle East and increased the strength of Iran and tipped the balance toward Iran, so really there was nothing good about the Iraq war and Dick Cheney, Liz Cheney and John Bolton still don’t get it. They are still advocating for more regime change in the Middle East.”

“I don’t think people really understand how dangerous the situation is right now,” Dickey said of the massive fire caused by a terrorist attack at the world’s largest oil refinery in Saudi Arabia. “We are looking at a possible war in the Middle East that will hugely interrupt global energy supplies.”

PeeResident Limp Lump, is grasping at plastic straws! Will Big Oil cause Trump's recession to be a Trumpian Depression?

Stormy Daniels offers to speak before Congress: ‘Sh*t is about to hit the fan again’

In an interview with the Daily Beast, adult film actress Stormy Daniels says she is waiting to hear from Congressional investigators taking a look at payments made to her through Donald Trump’s lawyer to keep quiet about their reported affair.

With lawmakers indicating they may not call the actress to speak before a congressional committee, Daniels confessed she is waiting for them.

“Things are in a lull, but shit is about to hit the fan again,” Daniels explained. “It comes in waves. A whole bunch of stuff happens, and then they schedule court dates and stuff is kind of quiet, but none of the cases are done. We’re just waiting for our next appearance.”

According to the Beast, “An appearance by Daniels before that [House Judiciary Committee] panel would undoubtedly supercharge public interest in Democrats’ oversight efforts, which are flagging after Robert Mueller’s investigation came to a conclusion and amid mixed messaging from the party on whether to start impeachment proceedings. But testimony from this particular witness—who is unique in combining a Mueller-level public profile with some inherently salacious subject matter—would also create a spectacle that Democrats fear could easily become an out-of-control circus.”

Like Democrats are afraid of the clowns in the Administration?

Ex-prosecutor demands congressional investigation after latest report on the FBI and Brett Kavanaugh

Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh had another allegation of sexual misconduct revealed on Saturday in a bombshell report in The New York Times.

“A classmate, Max Stier, saw Mr. Kavanaugh with his pants down at a different drunken dorm party, where friends pushed his penis into the hand of a female student. Mr. Stier, who runs a nonprofit organization in Washington, notified senators and the F.B.I. about this account, but the F.B.I. did not investigate and Mr. Stier has declined to discuss it publicly,” the newspaper reported.

Deborah “Ramirez’s legal team gave the F.B.I. a list of at least 25 individuals who may have had corroborating evidence. But the bureau — in its supplemental background investigation — interviewed none of them, though we learned many of these potential witnesses tried in vain to reach the F.B.I. on their own,” The Times reported.

“Two F.B.I. agents interviewed Ms. Ramirez, telling her that they found her “credible.” But the Republican-controlled Senate had imposed strict limits on the investigation,” the newspaper added.

That caused former United States Attorney Joyce Vance to call for a congressional investigation.

“There must be a full Congressional investigation to determine whether someone, and if so who, gave orders that kept the FBI from investigating credible allegations and speaking to witnesses who reached out to them,” the former prosecutor tweeted. “We were told this was a full investigation.”

AH, maybe Bill Barr? :)

Internet hilariously piles on Trump for botched ‘suing for liable’ Kavanaugh defense: ‘It’s libel, Mr. Stable Genius’

In a tweet that will likely be pulled down and corrected (update: a corrected tweet has been published), Donald Trump rushed to the defense of Supreme Court Brett Kavanaugh on Sunday morning over a new report of credible allegations the jurist may have sexually assaulted another woman when he was in college.

In a two-part tweet, Trump wrote, “Now the Radical Left Democrats and their Partner, the LameStream Media, are after Brett Kavanaugh again, talking loudly of their favorite word, impeachment. He is an innocent man who has been treated HORRIBLY. Such lies about him. They want to scare him into turning Liberal!,” he wrote, before adding “Brett Kavanaugh should start suing people for liable, or the Justice Department should come to his rescue. The lies being told about him are unbelievable. False Accusations without recrimination. When does it stop? They are trying to influence his opinions. Can’t let that happen!”

Republicans accused of stifling sexual misconduct claim against Brett Kavanaugh during confirmation

A new report reveals that Deborah Ramirez, a woman who claims Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her while she was a student at Yale University, may have had evidence to corroborate her story — but that Republicans created a process which would stifle her account so that Kavanaugh could be confirmed.

Recession Already Grips Corners of U.S., Menacing Trump’s 2020 Bid

“It’s just an outright lie, and he knows it,” says Petras, president of Kuhn North America, which employs some 600 people at its farm-equipment factory in Wisconsin. For Kuhn, Trump’s trade war has produced a toxic mix of rising costs and falling revenues. “You’re slamming your fist on the steering wheel and saying ‘Why would you tell people this?’”

About 250 Kuhn employees spent the Labor Day holiday caught in a two-week furlough, and they’re facing another in early October. A shrinking order book means Kuhn is cutting costs and slashing production as Petras and his managers peer out at a U.S. economy that looks far bleaker from the swing-state heartland than it does in either the White House or on Wall Street.

Donald Dipshit's tariffs are just he start of something ugly!

Inspector General Had 'Urgent' Whistleblower Report For Congress. You'll Never Guess Who Broke The Law To Bury It!

There's some fuckery afoot in Donald Trump's Intelligence Community. The fact that Acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph McGuire is burying a whistleblower complaint in blatant violation of the plain wording of federal law would be a massive scandal in any other administration. But here in the Firehose Era, it goes rushing by practically unnoticed.

NOT ON YOUR WONKETTE'S WATCH, DAMMIT! House Intelligence Chair Adam Schiff just dropped a subpoena on the Acting DNI calling him to testify before the Committee on Thursday, which is a BFD. And let's pay particular attention to the dates here, for reasons we'll come back to in a hot second.

According to Rep. Schiff's September 13 letter to McGuire, on August 12, the Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) received a "whistleblower disclosure intended for the congressional intelligence committees from an individual within the intelligence community." As provided under 50 US Code §3033§3033 and the Intelligence Community Whistleblowers Protection Act, the ICIG conducted a 14-day preliminary investigation and found the allegations credible and of "urgent concern" to Congress. On August 26, the ICIG told McGuire of his findings, which started the clock on a deadline for the DNI to disclose the information to HPSCI, as laid out in 50 US Code §30339(k)(5)(G):

Adam Schiff said, YOU'RE THE DNI, WHO THE FUCK IS HIGHER UP THAN YOU? Or words to that effect.

"You have also refused to rule out to me that the urgent concern, and underlying conduct, relates to an area of active investigation by the Committee.

The Committee can only conclude, based on this remarkable confluence of factors, that the serious misconduct at issue involves the President of the United States and/or other senior White House or Administration officials. This raises grave concerns that your office, together with the Department of Justice and possibly the White House, are engaged in an unlawful effort to protect the President and conceal from the Committee information related to his possible "serious or flagrant" misconduct, abuse of power, or violation of law.

And yes, he did put that part in boldface type. The he subpoenaed McGuire to appear before Congress this Thursday to explain what the hell he thinks he's doing. Schiff also reminded the Acting DNI that he'd be in even deeper shit if he tried to take revenge on ICIG Michael Atkinson for coming forward to HPSCI when he realized his superiors were breaking the law. "

Read the whole article as it is lovely. Add a couple of more offences to the Impeachment!:D:D:D:D:D;)

Just another weak in the life.

McGuire will, of course, refuse to appear and this will be yet another nail in the "obstruction of justice" case. The cleanup on aisle three on this is going to fill the federal prison cells. Interesting how blind Trumpettes here can choose to be.

‘Saudi Arabia pays cash’: Trump admits ‘unlike other presidents’ he’ll be renting out US troops for military action

President Donald Trump has been banging the drums of war in recent days, pointing the finger at Iran for a massive drone attack on Saudi Arabia oil fields that caused the price of oil worldwide to spike.

But on Sunday, President Trump admitted – even bragged – that U.S military forces are “locked and loaded.”. Trump also made clear he would be more than happy to order a strike on whatever country the Saudis tell him to hit.

“Saudi Arabia pays cash,” Trump boasted in the Oval Office during a press gaggle.

“We would certainly help them,” Trump said, noting that “they’ve been a great ally, they spend $400 billion in our country over the last number of years. $400 billion, that’s a million-and-a-half jobs.”

Moments earlier Trump admitted that if the U.S. engages in military action against the country of Saudi Arabia’s choosing, Saudi Arabia would “be very much involved in paying for that.”

“This is something that’s much different than other presidents would mention,” Trump said, repeatedly saying the Saudi’s “would be very much involved,” and “that includes payment.”

Trump is literally renting out the U.S. Armed Forces, and admitting it. No mention what happens if and when any U.S. service members die as a result of his freelancing out our troops.

So where is the Impeachment, Congress? Will Rethuglicunts just collect the grift and let our service men and women pay to price? Will there be trickle down if Johnny dies in a flaming oil field? Will Deamonrats just tut-tut and whine, while doing nothing constructive?

Trump goes on bonkers Oval Office rant about war with Iran: ‘We’re very high on ammunition now’

I guess they replaced the 100 Tomahawks Lumpy dumped on the vacant Syrian airfield?;)

“I’m not concerned at all,” Trump told reporters. “We have military power the likes of which the world has never seen. I’m not concerned at all.”

Trump went on to tell a story about how one of his advisers discouraged military action against an unnamed country due to low “ammunition.”

“I’m not blaming anybody,” the president explained. “But that is what he told me. Because we were in a position where with a certain country, I won’t say which one, we may have had conflict. And he said to me, sir, if you could delay it because we’re very low on ammunition. And I said, you know what, general, I never want to hear that again from another general.”

Trump is flexing his executive power to brazenly disobey the law — and it looks like he’s going to get away with it

Consider just the news Monday night. We know that the acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire — who was only installed in his position because President Donald Trump forced the rightful successor, Sue Gordon, to resign — is withholding a whistleblower’s report that has been deemed by the inspector general to be both “credible” and “urgent.”

Maguire is refusing to turn the report over to Congress, despite his legal obligations House Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff (D-CA) has revealed. He claimed it is supposedly “confidential” and related to “potentially privileged communications.” Maguire said that he is taking his orders to withhold the material from a “higher authority.”

Well, the only person the DNI reports to is the president. Other evidence, as former DOJ official Harry Litman argued, suggests that the whistleblower’s claims relate directly to the president or his inner circle.

Are you going to just take this Jerrold????

Putin aims a weaponized barb at Trump over Saudi attack – and hits the mark

Russian President Vladimir Putin joked this week about selling defense systems to Riyadh following weekend attacks on Saudi oil facilities. The gag was aimed at US President Donald Trump and it hit the mark with the precision of a guided weapon.

It was a masterful piece of trolling by the czar of trolls – a snide, disparaging jibe with an element of truth twisted into absurdity for maximum effect and laughs. At a joint press conference with his Turkish and Iranian counterparts in Ankara on Monday, Putin cast his bait into the volatile Persian Gulf region just days after devastating attacks on Saudi oil facilities exposed the limits of the Gulf kingdom’s expensive defense systems.

“We’re ready to help Saudi Arabia to protect their people,” said Putin, flanked by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Iran’s Hassan Rouhani. Ensconced in a front-row seat, Mohammad Javad Zarif, Iran’s jovial foreign minister, grinned expectantly, waiting for a weaponised Russian joke.

Zarif was not to be disappointed.

Referring to the Saudis, Putin continued: “And they need to make a clever decision, as Iran did by buying our S-300, and as Mr. Erdogan did by deciding to buy the most advanced S-400 Triumph air defense systems from Russia,” he added with a smirk.

What will PeeResident Bumblefuck Tweet about this? You just know the Doddard has a Tweet forming in his PeaBrain.:D

‘You’re a witness — act like it’: Congresswoman owns Lewandowski when he tries to filibuster

Corey Lewandowski had a difficult time debating Democrats who treated him like a hostile witness in a Congressional hearing Tuesday. When he tried to go off on a tangent and complaint, Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) wasn’t having it.

“We’re seeing a pattern of the president doing anything and everything to hide his misconduct from Congress and from the American people,” she said. “The president tried to get you to deliver a secret message to the attorney general, all in an attempt to prevent the special counsel from exposing the president’s own misconduct. As soon as the special counsel published his report and the president’s misconduct was exposed, the president tried to cover that up, too. Isn’t it true that the president has repeatedly tried to discredit you and other witnesses’ testimony to the special counsel in the published report?”

Lewandowski tried to deny it.

Jayapal then asked if Lewandowski follows Trump on Twitter. He wasn’t certain but said if he didn’t, he would rectify the situation.

She then cited tweets the president had sent that called the Mueller report fabricated and untrue.

“That’s the president saying that all the statements given by witnesses in the investigation, all those statements are untrue. Mr. Lewandowski, you were a witness in the investigation. You sat for interviews as part of the federal investigation, is that correct?” she asked.

Squirming to not answer with the truth, has Mr. L tripped over his own Senate run?:)

‘Continuing cover-up’: Top House Democrat catches Lewandowski making statement that differs from Mueller Report

“You stated earlier today that President Trump asked you to take dictation ‘many times.’ Is that correct?” Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) asked Lewandowski.

“It is,” the former campaign manager responded.

“But on page 91 volume 2 of the Mueller report it states, ‘The president then asked Lewandowski to deliver a message to [Attorney General] Sessions and said, ‘write this down.’ This was the first time the president had asked Lewandowski to take dictation.’ The first time,” Jeffries said, emphasizing the obvious discrepancy in his testimony Tuesday.

“Those are not my words, Congressman, those are the investigator’s words,” Lewandowski replied.

If we had the transcript of the Muller Investigation this could have been determined. Has Trumpski opened up another impeachable offence by his obstruction?

Corey Lewandowski eventually proved Trump obstructed justice: former US attorney

Former U.S. Attorney Joyce Vance explained in her appearance on MSNBC Tuesday that Corey Lewandowski’s attempts to plead “hatchetman privilege” weren’t successful. He ultimately outed Trump for breaking the law.

Lewandowski attempted to claim that he couldn’t answer any questions about special counsel Robert Mueller’s account because he hadn’t read it. But the information he personally gave to Mueller was enough to corner both men.

“I mean, Donald Trump has been found to have committed felony finance crimes by the Southern District of New York. Donald Trump has been found — committed ten acts of criminal obstruction of justice by Robert Mueller and his investigators,” host Nicolle Wallace said. “And I think what Ron was just sort of pulling the curtain back on is his suspicion that that may not be the headline, that Corey Lewandowski today confirmed at least two of those instances of criminal obstruction of justice.

Oops!;)

I saw a little of the lewindowski testimony on our news, it's not streamed live here.
My initial impression was that I've never seen anyone act so contemptuously toward a house committee.

WATCH: Lewandowski’s lawyer freaks out, tries to block Congress from asking any further questions

“You are not a witness and you should not be seated at that table,” cut in House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) sharply.

“I understand that,” said Lewandowski’s attorney. “I will leave after I register a formal protest based upon the debate that I heard. These seem to be unauthorized questions and I know you choose your words carefully—”

Several other Democrats cut in angrily, shouting “Point of order!” and “We have a hearing to conduct!”

“Mr. Lewandowski will answer all questions,” said Nadler. “If he has a legitimate privilege to assert, he may of course assert the legitimate privilege, other than that he is under subpoena. He will answer all questions. This is being done pursuant to the committee’s rules and of his counsel doesn’t like it, you don’t interpret our rules, with all due respect.”

Jerrold says~"STFU, SIT DOWN, and Fuck yourself!" OWTTE:)
