i'd be jealous, but the descendents are one of those bands i want to just keep in a time capsule. they're very high school for me. also, some of my favorite songs by them kinda make me uncomfortable now (your pants are too tight, you fucking homo). it's all very adolescent.

and speaking of youthful nostalgia earlier today i looked up an old friend from my early twenties who apparently tried to become an artist. sadly, his art was just fucking terrible. like painfully bad. i honestly hoped i'd found the wrong dude, but, no, he used his face in a couple of his "pieces" and i recognized him immediately.

and that was the end of that.
