She's trying to hang on to her speakers gavel by not saying things that go against the squad and Nadler. Yet she knows she can't go along with it either because it's a death knell for her party's election chances.

I don't believe an impeachment hearing would be the "death knell" for her party. The Donald has stepped on his own dick way to many times for that. I believe such hearings are warranted, but I also believe they are a waste of time. The senate under McConnell will dismiss anything found or presented out of hand. The Dems would do better concentrating on taking as many seats as they can in the house, taking control of the senate and the presidency. That's a lot more doable then trying to convince a bunch of brain dead senators to stop turning a blind eye to the Donald's illegal shenanigans.

This whole thing follows the pendulum principle. A pendulum, once in motion doesn't swing hard to one side then stop in the middle. Because of the unwarranted hate the extreme right had for Obama, the political pendulum swung hard in their direction. After everyone got a taste of Trump, it's now on it's return swing and will go hard left before it stops. I'd love to see it settle down some where in the middle, but that ain't gunna happen. The left have had to deal with the repercussions of it swinging so hard to the right. Now it's the right's turn to deal with the repercussions.

Your entire "illegal doings" narrative isn't finding any support in the facts either. So far either SCOTUS has sided with Trump on just about everything, or Mueller turned up nothing substantial enough to support impeachment. If Mueller had, Nadler wouldn't need to do "more investigating". Especially since Schiff has stated publicly that he's already "seen the evidence". If the evidence is there, trot it out and let us see it. If it isn't, more investigation isn't going to find it at this point in time.
