Women over 50 are no more invisible than women of any other age...in my opinion.

I love females of any age however, that being said, there is a wonderful advantage held by the woman over 50 who is strong, confidant, fit and keeps herself from throwing in the towel with the excuse, "well, that's just part of getting old"...because there is nothing more sexy and attractive than a beautiful woman over 50 who knows exactly what she wants and how to get it!

Lots of us men love and respect women over 50 for their wisdom, experience, strength and her sexual prowess cannot be matched by many younger females...

If men don't have the mental stamina to keep up with us experienced women, they're better off with the young girls-but bear in mind, they'll grow up too.

I'm not certain I'm following you. The spirit in which the original post was made was a quest to find out if men on Lit concurred with his opinion, not necessarily to criticize it or say it is wrong. Not everyone has to share the same thoughts on every topic, and that makes the world more interesting.

As a woman slightly over 50, I'm glad to hear that some men profess to finding our demographic of interest. Still, when I saw the article, it left me a bit sad. Perhaps he's being brutally honest.

As a male in my late 30s I find mature women very appealing. They typically know what they want, cut through the crap and have a lot of experience to bring to the table. I find all of those things incredibly sexy. There is also something about a womanly body that gets amplified in women that are older that is a complete turn on. French author sounds selfish which probably would make him a lousy partner anyway!
