Wow.

I've never heard of it. Sounds nice and light. ;)

It can be, depending on the recipe, but mine (learned from a Greek friend) gets pretty thick. I make it with a lot of rice, and if we keep it overnight it'll solidify by morning as the rice absorbs all the water - then we need to add more water and lemon juice before reheating.

I'm not a great cook, but that one is pretty popular. I posted the recipe in one of my stories: https://www.literotica.com/s/a-stringed-instrument-ch-07?page=3

Bear with me and I will make fresh coffee for the midnight crew. :D

Lots of writing in the afternoon and evening. I posted one story and have three more ready to post. So, I'm getting rid of my backlog. Wrong. I started to new ones today.

I did more of less finish up my latest novel. Now i can take some time from the mainstream and work on my Lit fun stories. Wrong. I got three orders for boats. It's that time of the year. Duck hunters love my boats. I have all three in stock so all I'll need is to build replacements.

Ah, how nice. Some sunshine, if a trifle cool.
And the coffee wasn't too bad this morning, either.
Now, as if to spoil my entire day, I have to go visit the legal vampire because
some clot couldn't get the right readings last time.

Any coffee left please ?

All coffee gratefully received, and if you need a waitress ...

I hear you’re losing visitors to grizzlies too.

Actually, we did have an amazing tale come from rather west of here three weeks ago. A mountain biker was attacked by Mr Griz. It had him down and was worrying him. The man tried eye gouging. No, I’m not making this up! It didn’t work. He then dug into his pockets, found his pocket knife, opened it (remember, this is all taking place whilst getting mauled by a half-ton critter with seriously bad breath) and stabbed the beast. It promptly let go and watched the biker make a bandage with his shirt sleeve and ride off for help. He made it and will live.

Try writing that into a story and see what kind of comments you get...

EDIT: MY apologies if I seemed insensitive earlier. I had not heard the sad news about the death of M. Gauthier in the Northwest Territories. A very infrequent fatality - something like one every five years or so.

Nice. Thanks for the link. An articulate piece on the difference between erotica and porn.

I love articulated pieces. So many positions you can get into. :D

I love the coffee cart. If I hadn't got into boats that might just be the business for me.

Fresh coffee is now available. I think there are some powdered donuts around here somewhere.

My Itty Bitty story is up and driving readers to distraction. Lots of views, lot of votes, low score, lots of requests for a sequel, no sex. The sequel I have in mind will take care of that last part. When you tease on your knees, always be ready to please.

Coffee is so wonderful.....and it's nice to be with an old friend!

I know that everything changes...but I miss the old days here...w/the Bear, and Molly, and Elianna, and many more...I miss them

It's always good to remember the old days with old friends, but it's also good to make new friends in present days to remember when now becomes yesterday.

I wouldn't exactly call them friends, but I do miss some of the people that used to be around when I joined. Can't even remember their names to be honest. It's just a bit weird not seeing them around anymore, but I agree with Tio. I've met a lot of new people on here after I returned from an almost 2 year long break, and they're also a lot of fun. It's just different, not necessarily better or worse.

Only city slickers. :D

Or French composers recording natural sounds. The comments on that one were sickly funny. I think i read it in the Daily Mail, their journalists are so bad they have to be unpaid interns or worse. The way it was written.... but as always with the Daily Mail, it was worth reading for the comments. Hilarious as long as you can ignore one dead composer. I think he got chomped down the MacKenzie river. There’s a reason I like guns. There’s grizzlies where we go hiking. More wolves to apparently.

I've been around here for a very long time in Internet years. I've seen a ton of people come and go. Some I met face to face and most I only knew through their posts, PM's, and e-mails. I considered most of them friends and still do even if they are now missing and missed.

Life and Lit go on. Sometimes in different directions but occasionally they come back together. There are probably a hundred people I wish would come back but I know that will never happen. Life changes and so do people. I just hope they are all happy.

Okay, Okay, I'll put the soap box away and make fresh coffee.

I'm having a ball watching the votes, views, comments, and favorites roll in on the little tease story I put in the Summer contest. Around 12 hours in it has 27k views and over 500 votes. 14 comments, almost all of them asking about a sequel and making suggestions on how it should go. I'm about 7oo words in on writing said sequel. I'm hoping to keep it around one page like the first one.

I suspect there's enough 'real life' stuff to put into a Lit story . . .
It might be a real exercise in descriptive power though.

Time, I think, for a nice mug of Tea.
