Hello from London!

Its been a tough year, and i the last month it peaked with a small series of events both in work and out of it that has caused a bout of unhappy feelings. It is nothing major but enough that its made it a pretty rough time, I am still trying to figure out the outlet for them all at this stage, bar opening an online blog and splurging them all in one go lol. I will spare Lit the full ramblings, you are all safe :)

So the holiday is 90% because I adore travel and seeing the world. I am already looking at what is possible for next year as I slowly finish off conquering Europe in a tourist capacity but 10% feels slightly like it is running away for a little bit which I am wondering if that is the healthy response or not. But the flights are booked now so stuff it, Vienna and opera here I come. And if if it is anything like my normal holidays, there will be a lot of pictures.

Anyway sorry for the ramblings folks, Let the lighthearted nature continue. My next stop today is the gym (which I very much cannot be arsed with) and then off to see some poetry as part of the book festival. And possibly eating a very unhealthy meal at a local burger joint with chilli fries. Because those are the best fries.

Treat it as a regroup and recharge before heading back into the fray.

Parkrun done in 30:50. Even got a congratulatory BJ from the other half as a reward. (post shower obviously)

Hope everyone is having a good Saturday, just heading for a beer.

A bunch of cockwombles in the playground bothered me today. Cheered up enormously by company in my new Less priests more twats thread (shameless plug.)

I love a bit of silliness... less inclined to smash shit to pieces now. Priests and twats are a cheering combination.

I’ve had a message for you from someone ..... i’ll send you a PM.

I also need to edit my posts on that thread I reported ( because I quoted the OP) - I thought they’d zap the whole thread. I can’t see an edit button - Any ideas? ( I have reported my posts and asked them to be deleted)

Well thanks for passing it on.

I honestly don’t know where I stand in this shithole any more. People can tell me I should mind my own beeswax. But I will never ever be able to just accept that some people’s kink is role playing child abuse. Never.

And barefootgirl has defended those people and actively criticised me for reporting them - she and I will never agree to disagree.

No one seems able to give a minimum age limit for role playing child sex acts. I can only guess because there isn’t one.

This place is not good for my mental health. I honestly wouldn’t piss on some of these people if they were on fire...

Too much? Hay ho...

Regarding your post - the mods have locked the thread. You’ll need to ask them to remove the quote from your post.

Vienna *and* opera...sigh.
A little bit of running away is ok. ((Hugs))
Hope that it was as good of a day as it sounded.

Hello London!

I’ll say a polite but cautious hello. However since you post in the daddies little girl thread (sorry - I always check out what new people post, I’m naturally suspicious of newbies being alts), I doubt we will have anything in common.

Rude of me I know, but I’m protecting my mental health by being more fussy about who I interact with. The rest of this thread is made up of more easy going folk than me though, enjoy, x

Understand and accepted.;)

And I will..thank you.

Hi Angelica xx

It’s good to get things of your chest and you have such a lovely one.
Just you go with the flow. Try and go to the gym, you’ll like it when your their and enjoy that burger. You deserve it xx

I do apologise Angelica.

I wrongly assumed you were having a difficult time.
Tc. Sorry about the confusion.

Oh hello. So you’re a “ large”? ( sorry that’s a joke for the Brits)

What brings you to these parts on this sadly rainy day? . ( why the fuck did I put the Birkies on? )

Really hope the rain stays away from Lords today, finely poised match. Would be a shame to have it washed out.

Ok Ironfan I’m stood in Piccadilly circus.... there’s enough blue sky to make a sailor a jacket so you’re good to go!

Massive congrats on the park run and the celebration, that is a hell of a milstone. My running in the gym has now achieved a pretty decent level and wondering how easy it would be to transfer that to the outdoors but my problem has always been my pacing. The treadmill takes care of that for me and that would be a whole new discipline to learn.

Feel free to rant here... or if you like on my thread, lord knows I rant enough - sometimes you need to...

And I am absurdly jealous that your day includes live poetry and good food... enjoy it lovely, and let us know gorgeous it is later, x

And thank you to all of you for being very nice and reaching out and giving the hugs, both here and all the chats in PM's that have been sent. You are genuinely a lovely bunch of people. I am not too sure I can quite bring myself to do the big splurge on the details, I have to admit it is not so much of a rant as I am still trying to figure it out a little bit in my head and how to talk about how i feel from it and what that transpires to. Also my stupid male brain is going no-one needs to hear that and I am just overblowing it all. But I may chat about it at some stage, so if it is here or someone gets a random message in a slight moment of weakness I apologize in advance lol :)

Right onto the poetry. The event was called Bang goes the Gun, a slightly offbeat and more raucous poetry night that included a really good line up, especially the middle acts that had some really powerful stuff. There was one poem about a sons father that was really touching and you could tell how much it came from the heart. Here is roughly what it looked like:

If they do it again next year I would go back. Spoken word can be incredibly powerful when done with passion and heart, it reminds me why I like theater as much as I do because it can just feel so raw. It was just a poet on a stage and all the anger, sadness and desire that comes with that.

What you really need to do Allia is try and get your job to send you up to Edinburgh in August, you would be spoilt for choice :)

Angelica the Opera being played is La Boheme, which I think will be new for me so looking forward to it. Also it is going to be in one of the most renowned Opera houses in Europe so looking forward to it, will happily let you know how it goes:

I better make sure I have some posh clothes though, I am not too sure a random looking tourist wandering up with a slightly patterned t shirt would cut it!

Hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday, today I have a comic at 4pm to see if he is any good so wish me luck, especially as I have never seen him before.

Have fun folks, that is a huge amount of text I have just splurged there!

Looks an absolutely gorgeous event, tell your stupid male brain that it’s not stupid and that men need to vent just as much as women, it’s good for the soul,
