Treat it as a regroup and recharge before heading back into the fray.

Parkrun done in 30:50. Even got a congratulatory BJ from the other half as a reward. (post shower obviously)

Hope everyone is having a good Saturday, just heading for a beer.

Well done re Park run.
My grandson, age 5, did it with his Dad in 32.10.
His Dad, competitive sod that he is, did it in 32.09!
(Dad is doing Waterford triathlon in a few weeks time)
I let everyone do the running for me.

Waterford, long time since I was there ...Tramore is a lovely spot !

Is there a nicer feeling in the world than getting in the door at home / anywhere and taking your bra off ?

Free Boobin’

I wouldn't know; however , I don't think us blokes get quite the same relief from scratching our nuts.

Looks an absolutely gorgeous event, tell your stupid male brain that it’s not stupid and that men need to vent just as much as women, it’s good for the soul,

Unfortunately being a man it feels like I start being about 50% stupid, 50% stubborn and 50% confused. And I think my maths back up point number 1. The tweet did make me giggle though.

Disappointingly the show tonight was so so, a nice concept but the execution was more mirthsome than rib tickling. Plus it got wet despite my optimism earlier. I hope you all had a good day :)

Errrrrrr no. I wear trainers and it’s nothing like that. Have you got high heels because that’s a much better comparison

I wear steal toed boots for roughly 40 miles a week in wet and damp conditions. Trust me that nothing feels better than taking thems mothafuckas off.

And much appreciated as a ticket has been bought. The ball has always been on the list of things I would like to go to, so this will be the closest thing.

Thank you very much for the heads up, you are a superstar.

If there is one thing about me, is that I can be very impulsive if the opportunity sounds like fun. It is both a lot of fun, and horrendously expensive. But hey, you only live once eh?

A man after my own heart...

I am genuinely a little cheered up that me randomly checking twitter tonight (which I only opened an account on recently because I was struggling here) has led to one of our lot going to see Hollie - it’s beautiful how things work out, x

And the videos are great. Proper new introduction to some powerful stuff.

Plus if it helped brighten your day a little bit then that is an added bonus :)

San Francisco

If there are any lurkers from the Bay Area please feel free to suggest some arty / cultural events for me to explore. Heading that way soon.

Sorry not trying to bankrupt you but “ Hello from London’s” favourite Luisa Omielan is playing three nights in Edinburgh.

I suggest checking out her stuff on You Tube in case it’s not your bag I guess.

Really appreciate that, will have a look at her. And how soon is soon, is it like September or October time?

I only ask as I saw this show when I was over there and it was absolutely fantastic but no tickets available until the start of October due to it ending by the end of the year. Highly recommended though:

The Chinatown part of the city is also pretty funky (there is a parking lot where every space has a proverb in it) and I can highly recommended the evening catamaran journeys for spectacular views of the bridge:

https://www.getyourguide.com/san-fr...cruise-by-luxury-catamaran-t7249/?utm_force=0

And finally Alcatraz is worth a look, I know it is very touristy but its pretty awesome. Bar that wander the city if you can, there is some great mural art and some very unique buildings potted about. If you really want to see some fantastic murals get the BART to the mission, it is packed with them. Also the best for the best Burrittos in the city from what I remember.

I appreciate that is a bit all over the place but hopefully it helps a little bit.

Will try and dig out more, I was there for around 4 nights if I remember a few years ago so tried to pack a lot in. Oh and beware Fishermans Wharf, go to see the sea lions, do not go for the food as the prices are awful.

Hello London!
Morning all
Hi, new to me folks.

It’s good to get things of your chest and you have such a lovely one.
Just you go with the flow. Try and go to the gym, you’ll like it when your their and enjoy that burger. You deserve it xx
Hopefully, newrandomperson will share his burger, because I *do* deserve it. :D

I wrongly assumed you were having a difficult time.
Tc. Sorry about the confusion.
No worries. :rose:

Angelica the Opera being played is La Boheme, which I think will be new for me so looking forward to it. Also it is going to be in one of the most renowned Opera houses in Europe so looking forward to it, will happily let you know how it goes:

Very envious. I have toured the Staatsoper, but didn't get to see a performance there. Love La Boheme as well.

Ah!!! So jealous now - Hollie’s amazeballs! Enjoy...

After spending a summer in steelies, can confirm, the sensation is damned similar. That feeling of lightness that you get when you finally kick them off is pretty comparable to the feeling when you remove your bra and suddenly feel like you've increased your lung capacity

So am I alone in wondering what you were doing wearing them for a summer.
