I talked to an old friend today, one of the few Trump supports I still talk with. It wasn't long before the conversation drifted into national politics. It went back and forth a couple of times before she, like every other trumpette started attacking Obama and Hillary as if it was natural to her that if she likes Trump, I must like Obama and Hillary. She started referring to Obama as Barry as if that would upset me. I realized that like a lot of other people she lives in a binary world. It's either good or bad, up or down, negative or positive. Anyway, when she realized that I'm not as simple as she would like me to be she got down to the racism. "He's better than Martin Luther Coon or Barry" It always was obvious to me but confirmed that most of the 60 million of you who support the asshole are just flat out racist.

I understand why I don't get much response to any thread I started and I'm cool with that. But whoever is inclined to respond, I'm curious to know if you recognise your racism even though, like my friend, you don't wear white sheets. Do you support Trump because of his alleged policies or will you admit to being racist?

The purpose of this thread was to see who had the balls to admit they support Trump but deny being racist. I'm sure that like those Mexicans some are good people.

Surely you've seen enough here to know that most - if not all - of the Trump-supporters on here will deny being racist, and will "prove" it in ways that show they are in fact racist. To take only the most obvious example, there's the nonsense about how people of color only vote Democratic because they've been bribed. That is usually followed by a claim that they're waking up and deserting the Dems...all without a shred of evidence.

She's not an idiot because she has different views, she's an idiot because she believes that what she believes is based on fact. I engage Trump supporters wherever I go including a red-neck bar. No, that's deflection on your part and that's exhibition of illiteracy on his (or yours, if you're just using another alt) part. A natural Trump supporter. I can't comment on your first response since most wasn't clear to me. It sounds like you were badly injured during the service to your country and for that you have my empathy. I didn't understand the connection to "60 years of affirmative action" and how that cost you personally.

As for your second response, "Trump doesn't lie" is beyond absurd. He's a compulsive liar. The only question some of us have about his lying is always whether or not it is always pathological.
