Since I drink about four of my mugs a day, that press would get a workout. Anyway, I like my coffee on the mild side. That is hard to do with a french press.

Thanks for the link though. Information is always useful around here.

Uh, the link doesn't go anywhere.

Sorry this Planetary Designs should work.

Personally I like my coffee like my women - Strong. (Always wanted to use this liine.)

I got over heated before I finished the yard. I still have a little less than a quarter of it to go. It's only 89 out there with a 65% humidity factor. The feels like is 99.

I have about ah hour and a half before the rain is supposed to be here. So, it's cool down, drink a bottle of water, and get back to it.

I like my coffee, hot, sweet and black. My women on the other hand, I'll take anyway I can get them.

ETA: I finished up about the time the thunder start out over the lake. The lawn tractor is put away, along with everything else. I'm cooling off again and resting before I grab a shower and a nap. I'm bushed.

Well, the Lionesses got beat by the World Champions 2-1.
'nuff sed.

But it's cooling down round here right now. (thinks: in early July ???)
Time for a brew, I reckon

Lots of thunder from across the lake. Not a drop of rain. A friend across the lake said he got nearly an inch in thirty minutes. I'm sure he meant rain.

Shower, check, nap, half check. Supper? Nope. I'm running a little behind and I doubt I'll catch her.

Fresh coffee for the evening crew. Have at it and play nice.

79 in here this afternoon so I broke down and turned the AC on. An hour later, it was 82 inside. Maintenance claimed they were sending someone right out to check on it. That was three hours ago.

Sorry to hear that. I just had my ac replaced. Makes a huge difference in comfort. I hope they get there soon.

My nap got somewhat out of hand. Now I'm eating supper at one in the morning.

Okay, fresh coffee for the early morning, late night crowd.

Maybe I'll write some. Maybe not. There is no plan. Just stick it where it looks good and then cut away what is not needed.

Crazy people are the future.

I'll take a cup. Had to get up early for a college exam. What's the benefit of studying from home if you have to wake up at 8 AM for your exams anyway? At least it's not every day, I guess.

Thank you.
I'll ask the Sun to move round a bit for you.
:)

You are so helpful but... The forecast calls for clouds and scattered showers. A high of about 85.

I have some errands to run later but for now.... Maybe some writing, maybe a nap, maybe, maybe, maybe. It's going to be one of those days.

Aaand back. Now to wait anxiously for an unspecified amount of days until I get my results in the mail. Yay...

On the bright side, I have the rest of today to write before I start the next subject tomorrow. Making some good progress on my Nude Day story, might even have time to add some extra scenes I scrapped because of the approaching deadline if I'm lucky.

Still waiting. The latest promise is this afternoon. Thankfully it cooled down a bit in the night but it's already getting humid again. Hopefully I can get some writing done before I overheat.

Dear lady, you have no idea what the visions of you overheating are doing to me. Slowly stripping down as you fan your.... Oh wait, maybe i need to keep the rest to myself. But it is going in the plot bunny file.

As for right now, a six pack orf DDP and a large bucket of ice coming up.

Fresh coffee for the rest of you heathens.

Breakfast was a blueberry bagel slathered with cream cheese and washed down with coffee.

I have errands to finish before people start showing up tomorrow. I probably won't be in the office all that long.

The first female squash blossom opened this morning. Three days from now we should have our first zucchini of the season.

Good Morning NW.

As our resident gardener, when should gladiola bulbs be dug up if you want to move them to another bed? I have half a dozen in a bed that is going to go away.I also have a ring of monkey grass to be moved also. It is flowering at the present. I think this is the first time I've ever really noticed. Tiny purple and lavender flowers on short stems.

I have dozens of glads, but all in a half-sized variety. People usually dig gladiolas for storage after they've flowered and the tops brown out. Here, that's in late summer or early fall. You might be able to transplant them from bed to bed without waiting, but I haven't tried that or heard of anyone doing it. If you have to, then try to keep disturbance to a minimum.

I have that kind of Monkey Grass, too, but mine won't flower until late summer. If you need to move it, then you can probably do it any time. It might be better to wait until it's past flowering. Just dig up a large root ball and transplant -- or give it away.

Do you have a fan? If you put it in the window facing outward, it will pull the air from your house outside. Or, if you put a bowl of water behind the fan it can help cool off the air in the house. Although since it is humid outside, I am not sure if that works or not. A cool damp towel around the back of the neck helps a lot as does soaking your feet in cool water. I hope they come soon. I can't imagine dealing with heat AND humidity.

Well, the rain moved in about a half hour ago. It shut down my work outside.

So, a fresh pot of coffee and lets see what kind of trouble I can get into.
