Oh yes. My mom and Dad left me out in a playpen in the garden whilst the house opposite, a condemned unsafe structure, was dynamite. I was covered in dust but otherwise ok. .

I will be looking soon. What kind of work I like to do is the big question. I liked being a veterinary nurse for 20 years, but got completely burned out in the last year and resigned about four months ago. Prior to that, I worked as a research assistant in child clinical psychology. I feel silly, at 48 years of age, thinking about a new "career". Things that interest me include food, wine, spirits, publishing (editing), and medicine. You have an employment opportunity for me? :D

You are not that much older then me and I only care about food, booze, music, books and drugs. Find your sweet spot. It aint east but can be fulfilling.

Oh enjoy Berlin. Speaking of books, read The Trial Of Adolph Hitler: The Beer Hall Putsch and the Rise of Nazi Germany. A lot of interesting history about Germany. Some takes place in Berlin but mostly Munich. A lot of it is set in beer halls which is kinda great.

Obviously a lot of great beers in Berlin. Pilsners and Helles of course but the Berliners their of course are amazing. Plus, low ABV so you can get after it all day.

I am so jealous of SL right now. Have never been to Berlin but it supposed to be weird AF. Did you know Anton Newcombe of The Brian Jonestown Massacre now lives there? Really good Parts Unknown featuring him where he cooks for Tony.

No - currently sat in a too hot car in a supermarket car park ahead of MiLs shop to waste time so I minimise my time with her.... I am an awful person. Also I can see how dogs die in these cars on a hot day... bugger it’s hot... if you see me, rescue me...
