Trump absolutely destroyed by Wall Street Journal over ‘chaos’ created by his absurd Mexico tariff war

Donnie has stepped in SHIT now.

Always leary of economic chaos, the editorial board of the conservative Wall Street Journal dropped the hammer on President Donald Trump for announcing escalating tariffs on Mexico for a problem the Journal said Mexico can’t solve and is not responsible for.

Under a headline, ‘Tariff Man Unleashed,” the editors made their disgust apparent right from the start.

“The biggest economic risk of a Donald Trump Presidency has always been that his trade obsessions would swamp the benefits of tax reform and deregulation,” they began. “For two years he has kept his worst protectionist impulses mostly in check, but as he seeks a second term we are now seeing Tariff Man unchained. Where he stops nobody knows, which is bad for the economy and perhaps his own re-election.

How soon before the Senators of Wall Street turn on Trunpski? :D

‘Leave or be impeached’: Longtime House member James Clyburn warns Trump that hearings would make the public turn on him

On Saturday, House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn (D-SC) appeared on “AM Joy” and cleared up a misconception that Democratic leadership opposes impeaching President Donald Trump. Rather, said Clyburn, they simply believe that gathering more evidence and holding more hearings will build a stronger case and create more of a public mandate to do so.

“I don’t think that those of us in leadership are saying that impeachment is not the answer,” said Clyburn. “I think from the report, from all that I’ve seen and heard for the last several years, I do believe that impeachment may be the answer. Those are the grounds. Now, the question then becomes what is the proper time for us to start this process. And I think that’s all Speaker Pelosi is saying at this point. We must take care that we do not get out in front of this process. Let’s continue to do what we’re doing. Let’s continue to do the investigations. Let’s have the hearings. Let’s build a public support. Let’s do what is necessary to bring the public along. And then we may have reached the time to launch the impeachment inquiries. I don’t think we’re there yet.”

Maybe the Demonrats are wising up?

Trump calls Meghan Markle ‘nasty’ for criticizing him — then expresses disappointment she won’t meet with him

President Donald Trump said the Duchess of Sussex is “nasty” before departing on his state visit to the United Kingdom.

The commander-in-chief sat down with The Sun for an exclusive Oval Office interview.

Trump was asked about comments by Markle during the 2016 presidential election, in which she said he is “misogynistic” and “divisive.”

“I didn’t know that. What can I say? I didn’t know that she was nasty,” Trump replied.

Trump was also unaware that he will not receive an audience with Markle, who is on maternity leave.

Don Demento strikes again!:D

Bill Barr walloped by legal analysts for ignoring judge and refusing to turn over Flynn’s Russia call transcripts

he panel on MSNBC’s “All In” with Chris Hayes we(re) shocked that the Department of Justice defied a federal judges order.

“Meanwhile today there was also a pretty remarkable development in federal court as it relates to Michael Flynn,” Hayes reported.

“Now, we also expected to finally see the transcript of that phone call, at least one of the phone calls that’s at the heart of the entire matter. The phone call between Michael Flynn, when he’s the incoming national security advisor during the transition, and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak,” Hayes reported. “Flynn first got in trouble for lying to FBI agents about this very conversation. He pleaded guilty to lying about it. So everyone has wanted to know what the heck did they talk about.”

“But — and here’s where things got really strange today — despite the judge’s direct order, we do not have that transcript. The government, the department of justice, is ignoring the judge, declining to release it, saying only the government further represents it is not relying on any of the recordings or any other person for purposes of establishing the defendant’s guilt or determining its sentence nor are there any other recordings that are part of the sentencing record,” he continued.

Let's see if the Judge 'reacts well" to Low Barr's contempt? He might get away with dissing the Pussies in Congress but a Federal Judge? Maybe not so much.:)

James Comey shreds Bill Barr for fact-free CBS interview full of conspiracy talk

Responding to Attorney General Bill Barr’s interview on CBS, where he once again dismissed special counsel Robert Mueller’s report, former FBI director James Comey lashed out at President Donald Trump ‘s hand-picked AG, telling him to put up or shut up about conspiracy theories.

On Twitter, Comey wrote, “Bill Barr on CBS offers no facts. An AG should not be echoing conspiracy theories. He should gather facts and show them. That is what Justice is about.”

Jimmy is probably very sorry he blasted Hillary in a very Un-FBI like manner now.

Ex-ethics chief compiles stunning list of crimes and conflicts of interest committed by Trump and his aides

The former director of the Office of Government Ethics presented a list of misconduct by President Donald Trump and his administration.

Walter Shaub posted the list on Twitter, the president’s favorite social media platform.

The Tweet storm is too lengthy to quote, as it lists all the Trumpisims to date, but you should read the list as it is, on the one hand Hilarious, and on the other deeply frighting to see what the RWNJ's have accepted as 'normal' from Hair Twittler.

Barr is not Law Enforcement, he is a politician masquerading as Law Enforcement.

It's hard to believe that even Sessions had more integrity than this teaming pile

Barr has sold his soul

Rep Solwell (SP?) thinks Low Barr should be Impeached. Nancy hasn't put his Contempt of Congress up for a Vote, so, Who's the pussy now?

As long as they're holding people in Contempt of Congress, why not the Munchin too?

Even Not-America is sick of Trumpski!

Donald Trump is like a 20th-century fascist, says Sadiq Khan

The mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has compared the language used by Donald Trump to rally his supporters to that of “the fascists of the 20th century” in an explosive intervention before the US president’s state visit to London that begins on Monday.

Writing in the Observer, Khan condemned the red-carpet treatment being afforded to Trump, who, with his wife Melania, will be a guest of the Queen during his three-day stay, which is expected to provoke massive protests in the capital on Tuesday.

Khan said: “President Donald Trump is just one of the most egregious examples of a growing global threat. The far right is on the rise around the world, threatening our hard-won rights and freedoms and the values that have defined our liberal, democratic societies for more than 70 years.

“Viktor Orbán in Hungary, Matteo Salvini in Italy, Marine Le Pen in France and Nigel Farage here in the UK are using the same divisive tropes of the fascists of the 20th century to garner support, but with new, sinister methods to deliver their message. And they are gaining ground and winning power and influence in places that would have been unthinkable just a few years ago.”

Odds that the Balloon Buffoon will be flying again in London are good!..:D..:D

The queen has supped with Idi Amin in the past, so she's up to handling Trump.

‘Kiss of death’: Trump’s White House lawyer quits

President Donald Trump has lost another member of his legal team.

Emmet Flood, who was serving as special counsel to the president, after working as interim White House counsel, will be leaving the administration in two weeks, Trump announced on Twitter.

“Emmet Flood, who came to the White House to help me with the Mueller Report, will be leaving service on June 14th,” Trump announced.

“He has done an outstanding job – no collusion, no obstruction,” Trump argued, despite the fact that obstruction was extensively documented by special counsel Robert Mueller.

Escaping before the shit storm!:)

Trump demands other nations treat him with ‘respect’ — because he’s not a ‘fool’

A fool is known by his actions and his foolish words too!

“When you are the piggy bank nation that foreign countries have been robbing and deceiving for years, the word tariff is a beautiful word indeed,” Trump argued, in spite of the market plunge that has resulted from his trade wars.

“Others must treat the United States fairly and with respect,” Trump demanded. “We are no longer the ‘fools’ of the past!”

Tariffs are paid by the end user/consumer, not the producer, Dummy!:)

Bill Barr’s ‘suspicious’ decision to ignore a federal judge’s order has put him in major jeopardy: legal scholars

In interviews with a constitutional law scholar and a former federal prosecutor, a conservative columnist for the Washington Post highlighted the fact that Attorney Bill Barr’s refusal to turn over transcripts of phone calls between for Donald Trump’s national security advisor Michael Flynn and the Russians is not only suspicious — but puts Barr on the spot with the judge for refusing.
-
For her part, conservative Rubin added, “The House should, as a distinct part of its pre-impeachment fact-finding, hold ‘Hearings on the Defiance of Court Orders and Refusal to Produce Mandated Production of Witness and Documents and Subpoenas’.”

“The committee and the House don’t need Robert S. Mueller III or any other Trump witness to proceed. The result could be impeachment hearings against Trump or against Barr,” she continued. “If allowed to continue this conduct, the Trump administration will do permanent and serious damage to the Constitution. For this alone, impeachment and removal may be required.”

Nancy? Nancy?....crickets....

Conservative left humiliated and stumbling after MSNBC panel laughs off his claim Trump is popular in the UK

A panel discussion on MSNBC took a humorous turn after a conservative from the Heritage Foundation claimed that President Donald Trump would be welcomed with open arms when he visits the U.K. this week.
-
Host Gibson was quick to undercut his point by pointing out the current American president’s approval rating in the U.K. stands at 21 percent, which seemed to throw Gardiner off his game.

Hill columnist Niall Stanage had a quite different — and hilarious — take.

“Well, I mean the expectations certainly are not welcome for President Trump by the British population at large,” he explained before puckishly adding, “To risk repurposing a phrase from Billy Connoly: Mr. Trump is about as welcome as a fart in a space suit in Britain. He’s deeply unpopular there.”

Trump quickly faceplants during state visit to the UK — and things aren’t going to get better

Sadly, he won’t be riding in the golden carriage though. Perhaps the prospect of being out in the open with an expected 250,000 protesters and that Big Baby Trump blimp overhead soured him on the idea. Neither will he be staying at Buckingham Palace, as heads of state usually do. However, a formal white-tie state banquet at the palace will feature toasts from both the Queen and the president (which I cannot quite imagine).

Since Trump is constitutionally unable to behave like a dignified statesman on foreign soil, we’ll just have to grit our teeth and hope he doesn’t start a war or something. So far, it’s not looking good. Aside from the “nasty” princess gaffe, he’s already stuck his nose into U.K. politics by giving wide-ranging interviews with British papers, telling them they should put his pal Nigel Farage in charge of Brexit and endorsing former London mayor Boris Johnson as the next prime minister. (May will resign June 7, as a direct result of her inability to make a Brexit deal that anyone will accept.) Trump also said the U.K. should just walk away from Brexit talks and stiff the EU for the agreed upon $50 billion “divorce payment.” (That figures. It’s how he does business.) He also repeated his daft idea that Britain should sue the EU because it’s been unfair and cost them a lot of money.

On Friday, Trump announced that he would end special trade treatment for India, saying, “I have determined that India has not assured the United States that India will provide equitable and reasonable access to its markets.” The New York Times reported on Sunday that the administration nearly imposed tariffs on Australia last week and was only stopped, at least temporarily, by strong opposition from the military and the State Department.

Prepare for the worst, Lumpy will fuck this up as usual.

I think everyone in the world now has pretty much been able to separate Trump from the United States (but they may legitimately be able to be dismayed at how large a proportion of Americans are just like Trump).

Trump rages against CNN after he’s unable to watch Fox & Friends from London

President Donald Trump whined about TV offerings shortly after arriving in the United Kingdom for a state visit.

The president fired off a pair of tweets attacking London mayor Sadiq Khan before landing, and then leaned on CNN’s parent company to “do something” about the network’s coverage of his administration.

Lumpy Dumpling went London, riding on a pony.

All the Kings horses and all the Kings men... Laughed and laughed!

Poor little pony.

Trump's UK State Visit Off To Smashing Start, Pip Pip You Betcha!

Hooray, at long last, in the third year of his presidency, Donald Trump has been granted a state visit to the United Kingdom, America's steadfast ally, which absolutely despises him. And surprise, he's already fucking it up! If things go like they've been going already -- he's only been wheels down in London for a matter of hours -- it might be the most embarrassing week in American history to date.

Jared Kushner just told Russia he’s ‘open for business’ if they want to help Trump again in 2020: CNN analyst

CNN analyst Samantha Vinograd, who served as a national security official under former President Barack Obama, hammered Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner for his disastrous interview with Axios’ Jonathan Swan, and in particular flattened him for refusing to say he’d call the FBI if Russia offered to help Trump win again in 2020.

During a panel discussion led by CNN’s Kate Bolduan, Vinograd said that Kushner’s latest remarks sent a signal to other foreign countries that he would work with them if they wanted to dig up dirt on Trump’s opponents in next year’s presidential election.

Prince Jared is for sale but not cheap.

House committee to vote on holding Barr and Ross in contempt for failing to provide documents related to 2020 Census citizenship question

WTF! Why are they waiting, Vote now, send the Marshals with handcuffs tomorrow! Why wait for Thursday?

Such Nancy boys.:(

Why hasn't Nancy slapped Barr with a contempt of Congress already? Threats and side eye do not impress Rethuglicans, handcuffs and orange jumpsuits are messages too!

House Dems set contempt vote against Barr and McGahn

The House will vote next week to hold Attorney General William Barr and former White House counsel Don McGahn in contempt of Congress for defying congressional subpoenas, according to multiple Democratic sources.

The Judiciary Committee voted to hold Barr in contempt of Congress in early May, after he blew through a committee deadline demanding a fully unredacted version of Mueller's report as well as his voluminous underlying evidence.

Though some Democrats pushed to quickly bring the contempt measure to a vote of the full House, Pelosi initially delayed action and signaled her interest in combining multiple potential contempt votes against other cabinet officials into a single vote at a later date.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler said Friday that he was pressing for a floor vote on contempt for Barr as quickly as possible so that the committee could take Barr to court and attempt to enforce its subpoena.

Nancy...NANCY!... crickets...

The last elections didn't really support that thought. The rest of the world probably had expected to see such a separation, but the Senate results showed something different, and also the House results showed that there's still plenty of support for trump. Not the separation you're suggesting here.

There was practically no margin for change in the Senate elections in 2018--only a third of the Senate is voted on in an election and this time everything was problematic in favor of the Republicans and it still resulted in a near even balance. The House elections were a blowout in favor of the Democrats (and women), and the Democratic takeover in the House has made all of the difference in curbing Trump and shining a light on his corruption and criminality to the extent that's happening so far. I'm not sure what elections you were looking at.

WTF! Why are they waiting, Vote now, send the Marshals with handcuffs tomorrow! Why wait for Thursday?

Because they have no assurance the marshals will show up with the handcuffs. Thus far the Trump administration's coup attempt for the takeover of the country is working pretty well for them--while the Republicans in Congress sit on their hands and see any power in their jobs frittering away.
