Abortion

Corporations are legal constructs. Made by people, owned by people. And has people in them.

Just like houses are physical constructs. Made by people, owned by people. And has people in them.

Are houses people?

Legal constructs that are specifically created to represent people or groups of people conducting bidniz.

Houses aren't made to represent people ....corporations are.

Forcing others to adhere your own moral convictions by force of law is the primary means of governance in a theocracy.

It's the primary means of all governance Rob.

That's why you're on here all the time advocating forcing others to adhere to your own moral convictions by force of law.

For the sake of equity in life outcomes instead of liberty because you hate the USA.

But still....

Force of violence is the supreme authority from which all other authority is derived, including the authority of your beloved god state that you want in control of everything.

Except abortion of course....that's different because reasons. :D

The FF's understood this, that's why they LIMITED the authority of the US government to infringe on peoples rights...something you call "toxic shit sludge" ideology, again because you loathe the USA.

There is no "freedom" of religion here.

Of course there is, you're demonstrably wrong about that both legally (1A) and in practice as evidenced by a greater diversity of practicing religions in the USA than likely any other nation on the planet.

Keep that tail tucked Bubba.

If Planned Parenthood would use their resources to fund child care, prenatal care, paring want-to-be -parents with pregnant women and helping those women get back on their feet again, they would be inundated with donations and funding, maybe more than they would know what to do with.
The vast majority of Planned Parenthood (something like 97%+) is for services other than abortion. That's not good enough for the RWCJ.

Teaching abstinence in our schools k-12 would be a good start.
I disagree. It's a panacea to the RWCJ, who cannot imagine their kids having sex. Abstinence is a good primary focus of a comprehensive Sex Ed program, it fails miserably when it's "Abstinence only".

Creating laws against abortion is more divisive than helpful right now.
They're ALWAYS more divisive than helpful, IMHO

I think tampering down wholesale abortion practices is part of the solution
Please explain what "wholesale abortion" is and why it's in need of a "solution".

The breakdown of family values ( father-mother-child ) is an alarming statistic.
very alarming.

Mothers having babies out of wedlock, especially in urban areas, is slowly deteriorating our culture and is putting a strain on our communities in general.
Out of wedlock births are a simple fact of life today.

It's the parents responsibility to bring up their children not the school system.
Agreed. What we're finding out is that there are quite a number of piss-poor parents out there.

Educating a young mother as to what abortion is could persuade some from not having one. I know some of you will think this evil, I'm not addressing you, yes that means you ROBDOWNSOUTH and BADBABBYSITTER.
By all means, tell us what constitutes "Educating" someone? Bloody fetus photos on placards waved outside abortion clinics? If a woman has made an informed decision to terminate her pregnancy, why does she require additional "persuasion"?

We are at the lowest birth rate ever in this country.*** Save your open border ideas for a rainy day***. Bringing more children into this country is a good thing. It's a fundamental natural resource that is slowly dwindling. There are many reasons for this delima, too numerous to mention.
First world countries have low birth rates. That's simply a fact. It's more problematic in countries where racial purity and ethnic identity is valued above all else (Japan, Korea, etc). Not so much a problem in blended cultures like America.

The Alabama law will be deemed as unconstitutional by SCOTUS.
From your lips to God's ears, shorty.

Do you know what a law is? You don't disobey one because you don't like it. There are constitutional procedures to change laws.

Actually I do know what a law is. And you don't get to enact laws that run contrary to the Constitution, as Alabama is about to find out.

The Constitution doesn't actually "change" laws, "Justice" Alito's legislating from the bench notwithstanding. The Constitution is used as a standard by the courts to determine if laws are to be upheld or invalidated.

Doesn’t seem like anyone’s opinions on Abortion here have changed after 9 days. Just saying.

YOU ARE TRULY AN ABORTION GONE AWRY. You are slowly convincing me that abortion is a procedure that could be useful in certain cases, "NO", should be done, "FOR THE SAKE OF HUMANITY". Your brain is so fucking tiny that if your head ever smashed into a windshield, it would be in free fall for a fucking hour. There is enough room between your ears to film lost in space.

Are you old enough to be posting here?

This is a previous comment and my humble opinion.

Except the Rapepublicans would never stand for this. Theyre already trying to defund them for providing natal care

Teaching abstinence in our schools k-12 would be a good start.

And a horrible end, abstinence only programs have been proven not to work, if it was part of a program that mainly mandated actual sex education..then that might help

Creating laws against abortion is more divisive than helpful right now.

Its always divisive. Period.

I do believe doctors should be held accountable but not nearly as severe as what's on the table right now.

Being murdered by antichoicers is pretty accountable, its a real job risk when you perform this procedure

. Appropriating funds for these future mothers, creating support programs for them to include educational programs, High school, college tuition and at home tutoring, help minimize as much as possible the major distraction in their life and make carrying full term something beneficial to the mother and potential new parents and to our country

That's a slush fund for baby making, not really a solution

I would even venture the idea of healthcare insurances for couples who can't have children maybe get some financial assistance in adoption, care responsibility, helping with medical cost to bring the baby to full term. My humble opinion.

Once again, a slush fund for baby making

The Alabama law will be deemed as unconstitutional by SCOTUS.

God willing

Why is it all of you seem to think that just because you can construct an analogy it's a valid analogy?

A house is designed to shelter... a corporation is designed to be a stand-in for the people who actually created it. It's designed by law to do all of the things that a person can do. A house isn't.

It can pee?

it can vote?

it can have a baby?

It can go to college?

I put forward ideas. I get nothing from the other side. Don't much care. I tried to shine some light on the issue and every sentenced was either twisted or replied to with an absurd hypo. You guys have fun I'm going back to bashing sky pilot LOL

Freedom of religion is not a theocracy. I'm a republican and I hold women in the highest esteem, after all, my wife, sister, mother and daughter are all women. I've been trying to boss my wife around for about 30 years and she does exactly what I tell her to do, when she's not home.
i'm guessing that was supposed to be humour?

shame it reflects the core paternalism of 'women are wonderful creatures, that only need to do as they're told by a man to be happy and fulfilled'

No, corporations are created to represent an economic activity. The people that owns it and the people it pays to facilitate the economic activity are interchangeable.

Incopropration is specifically a means to separate the people from the economic activity. If you, like I do, run a self employed one man business, you are the economic activity. The cash flow is your private cash flow, the risks and responsibilities your personal.

Incorporate, and the cash flow, the risks and responsibilities becomes a thing separate from you. It becomes a legal machine that hopefully spits out money if you grind it's crank. A machine that you own. And can sell.

This is pretty weird to discuss in an abortion thread tbh.

They do not provide pre-natal care.

And a horrible end, abstinence only programs have been proven not to work, if it was part of a program that mainly mandated actual sex education..then that might help

Abstinence works...ask Alyssa Mykano...😂😂😂

Well butters; you went and out thunk yourself again. So philosophical.

yes, you do. you get rebuttals of your ideas as outdated, unfunded, or simply inapplicable.

abstinence should be one aspect of safe sex. teaching children to value themselves includes teaching them that they have the rights to make their own choices - which includes saying no, as well as yes. having said that, abortion isn't just a thing that applies to teenagers; teaching 'abstinence' isn't going to help the mother of 4 who finds herself unexpectedly pregnant and understands her whole family will suffer should she choose to go through with the pregnancy, and so many other examples.

sex-education should be applied across the culture, educating men and boys about how it's not okay to rape a girl through the use of force, coercion, or while she is under the influence of drink/drugs; that incestuous relationships between adults and minors will be prosecuted; how prevention of pregnancies is preferable (to EVERYONE) to abortion; how vasectomies are a great way to prevent babies; etc..., etc..., etc....

as a society, prevention is always better than the cure.

If a corporation is a person

Should not a person be a corporation?

And if that's the case, should not the corporation determine what product it brings to market

Or is it different if that corporation is female?

Abortion supporters are on the wrong side of what God wants.
you can believe that

we don't have to

we don't even have to believe in the fairy story your 'faith' spins. your post illustrates, perfectly, the kind of mindset of religious zealots. being free to worship as you wish does NOT give you the right, no more than any other faith, to force others to worship as you do.

go tell god i said that, will you?

Your grasp of the obvious is sooo pronounced. Most of what you preach should be taught in the home!!!!!!
