Trump’s nickname #Brokeahontas trends worldwide on Twitter after his tax returns revealed he’s a lousy businessman

President Donald Trump earned a nickname of his own after a bombshell The New York Times report revealed he once lost more money than any other American.

HBO “Real Time” host Bill Maher called Trump a “reverse billionaire” on Friday night and said Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) should call him “Brokeahontas.”

Bill also asked Melania to divorce the Donald, for the good of the country. :D

Trump humiliated by tax return revelations and panicked they will cripple him in the 2020 election

Making matters worse for Trump, many of his foreign policy ambitions are stalled. China is refusing to budge on trade negotiations, North Korea is launching missiles in defiance of the administration’s pursuit of de-escalation, Venezuela’s embattled autocrat Nicolas Maduro is no closer to being toppled by the opposition, and Iran is defying their prior nuclear commitments after Trump moved to reimpose sanctions.

According to CNN, Trump is so desperate to prove himself that he even gave the Swiss government a phone number for them to pass along to Iran, and said “I’d like to see them call me.” And he is increasingly growing frustrated with the more hawkish members of his administration, like Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and National Security Adviser John Bolton, as he fears they may take his government to war and wreck any pretense that he has diplomatic skill.

Failing both at home and abroad, Trump evidently feels as though the image he has built for himself has come crashing down, and he is desperate to save his personal brand.

Feel the Burn Don!

As long as he's suffering as much as he's making everyone else suffer. And I think he is.

I wish I could believe he was but I think it would take a lot to make that soulless POS feel suffering

Oh, he obviously isn't enjoying himself. Before he foolishly ran 80 percent may have known he was a fraud, but they didn't have so many examples of it at hand. He has screwed his family name forever. That' fun, though. Maybe they'll just change their name again. His father and grandfather screwed up as much as he has.

He hurt us in our feelz. :(

Furious Wall Street traders rip into Trump for tweets that keep crippling the market

Wall Street traders are faced with a horrific dilemma as a supposedly business-friendly president keeps roiling the markets with off-the-cuff tweets making their analysis of market trends moot.

According to Bloomberg interviews with Wall Street execs, Donald Trump’s tweets about tariffs and various industries he has a beef with has made their job as difficult as it has ever been.

Trump’s ‘ugly’ trade war with China is devastating the lives of Iowa farmers: ‘It could break a lot of people’

Iowa farmers are bearing the brunt of the U.S. trade war with China as Donald Trump continues to threaten increased tariffs on Chinese imports.

According to a report by the Des Moines Register, corn and soybean farmers are “[struggling] to feel optimistic” as the industry faces a series of daunting challenges, including retaliation from China over increased tariffs.

“A lot of us think it can’t get any worse, that it can only go up from here,” northern Iowa farmer Brent Renner told the Register. “But that’s probably not a safe bet.”

Brokeahontas is running the country like a business, unfortunately like a Trump Business.

Carl Bernstein busts Bill Barr for acting like Trump’s attack dog lawyer: ‘Trump said he wanted his Roy Cohn — he’s got him now

“We find ourselves in this situation, right now, because there is an on going coverup by the president of the United States,” Bernstein explained. “Whether that constitutes a violation of law, whether he is a criminal or not, that’s for down the road but right now it’s obvious to anyone that watches, anyone who looks at the facts, reads the Mueller report — the obstruction part particularly — we are in the midst of a continued coverup by the president, aided abetted by the Attorney general of the United States.”

“Trump said he wanted his Roy Cohn, he’s got him now in the attorney general,” Bernstein added.

“So really where the rubber is going to meet the road is going to be the Supreme Court of the United States and Chief Justice Roberts has got his table being set for him in a way that may have an awful lot to do with the future of American democracy,” Bernstein added.

Even AG's can 'GO TO JAIL', see John Mitchel. :)

Florida Republicans in a panic that Trump will lose them the state — and him the election — in 2020

While many Republicans are cautiously watching Donald Trump’s saber-rattling at Venezuela’s Nicolás Maduro, Florida Republicans worry that Trump’s all-talk-no-action response so far will cost him — and possibly them — the state in the 202o election.

According to a report in the Washington Post, the failure to unseat Maduro before the election could hurt the president with the Florida Cuban community who see in Maduro an echo of Fidel Castro.

Oh MY! :D

Trump ‘obsessing’ over possible Democratic 2020 presidential threat after thinking election would be easy: report

Oval Office insiders are confiding that Donald Trump has become obsessed with the surprising amount of support former Vice President Joe Biden has received since he entered the race for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination.

According to a report at Axios, “aides to President Trump have long seen Joe Biden as his biggest potential threat in 2020,” and that Trump’s increasing attacks on his possible opponent provide evidence that a Biden candidacy worries him.

:D Stay worried, my friend.:)

Chris Wallace gets in Larry Kudlow’s face over who pays for Trump’s tariffs: ‘The Chinese aren’t paying’

Fox News host Chris Wallace on Sunday reminded Larry Kudlow, director of the National Economic Council, that Americans will be forced to pay for the tariffs that President Donald Trump is putting on Chinese goods.

“It’s not China that pays tariffs, it’s the American importers, the American companies that pay what is in effect a tax increase,” Wallace explained. “And oftentimes passes it on to U.S. consumers.

US manufacturer accuses Trump of keeping him from doubling his workforce in brutally blunt op-ed

The owner of one of the United States largest bicycle manufacturing operations opened up to the Washington Post that he’d love to add more employees to his workforce to meet demand, but Donald Trump’s trade war with China is crippling his business.

Speaking with the Post’s Sophia Nguyen, Arnold Kamler, chairman, and CEO of Kent International, Inc., based in Parsippany, New Jersey agreed to an op-ed piece entitled: “I employ hundreds of American workers. I’d hire more if not for Trump’s tariffs.”

Speaking of Law Breakers!

‘I’m not sure anybody would notice if Steve Mnuchin was missing’: Conservative columnist

He encouraged Democrats to continue their pursuit of justice and accountability. However, he said Democrats should focus their attention on one thing to avoid making it look like they were throwing everything at the wall to see if it sticks.

“The case of Steve Mnuchin, plainly violating the law,” Milbank said, referencing the Treasury Secretary’s decision to defy the law allowing Congress to inspect the president’s taxes. “The Founders did not envision a president who would — where there’s no give and take but flatly not going to cooperate so the logical answer to that if the Congress is going to behave in a similar fashion is lock up Steve Mnuchin, perhaps in some makeshift jail in the basement of the capitol. I’m not sure anybody would notice if he’s missing anyway.”

:D

FLASHBACK: Trump’s own mother once proclaimed ‘what kind of son have I created’

President Donald Trump’s mother Mary seemed to have predicted the way that he would impact the world and not necessarily for the best.

The Scottish-born mother died in 2000, but she was already embarrassed by his failed marriages, playboy lifestyle, and business humiliation. Her husband Fred was known for bailing out Trump over and over again, and Mary likely had a ring-side seat to the catastrophes that followed her son.

It was in. that interview where Mary Trump was outed for asking Ivana Trump, her soon-to-be-ex-daughter-in-law: “What kind of son have I created?

 Beats me. Cadet Bone Spurs is a .... (insert favourite string of displeasing descriptors here) and an Ass Hole so large as to be able to hold a colony of ass lickers.:D

We are coming dangerously close to a king-like presidency that operates outside of the law: Charles Blow

New York Times columnist Charles Blow is warning of an imperialist presidency taking over the United States.

“We watch daily as the constitutional and conventional fabric of this country is clawed at and unraveled by Donald Trump, while those with any power to prevent or punish his actions are suspended in a state of listlessness, making political calculations rather than performing constitutional duty,” Blow wrote Sunday.

Congress, aka The House of Representatives, must take ACTION first. So far they have been fairly timid about that. Will they ever ACT? Are they all Nancy Boys?:)

Trump interrupts tweetstorm on tariffs to thank ‘Fox & Friends’ for a ‘great show this morning’

President Donald Trump took a few moments to thank his favorite television show and praise them for a particularly good episode.

The president spent the morning issuing threats against China and tried to assure Americans that his tariffs wouldn’t hurt them, then pivoted to tweet out praise for “Fox & Friends” and another friendly news outlet One America News.

Faux and Fiends said;
"Fox & Friends has a minor freakout over Democrats saying we're in a constitutional crisis: "What are they gonna do? They can say 'constitutional crisis' but are they gonna be able to do anything?"

They could swear a warrant out for Mnuchin and put his ass in jail for breaking the law.

They could subpoena Barr to testify about why he is covering up for ANOTHER President.

They could subpoena Barr to produce ALL the Muller Report and supporting evidence for the House Intel Committee, as is befitting their whole Intel Oversight responsibility.

They could Impeach Brokeahontas for misappropriation of funds in the DoD.

There is not much they can do, really. ;)

Trump says Americans don’t have to pay tariffs — and then proves himself wrong 7 words later

President Donald Trump on Monday insisted that there is “no reason” that Americans should have to pay for the tariffs he has placed on China — even though members of his administration have said otherwise.

“There is no reason for the U.S. Consumer to pay the Tariffs, which take effect on China today,” Trump wrote before admitting that Americans can expect a 4 percent increase in the cost of some Chinese goods.

Which side of his mouth are we supposed to believe?

Right-wingers are starting to blame Mike Pence for Mueller — and they might be correct

Vice President Mike Pence played a key role in the events that eventually led to the appointment of special counsel Robert Mueller — and increasingly paranoid right-wingers are starting to notice.

The vice president could find himself in an odd, and potentially dangerous, position in the coming months as the House of Representatives investigate some of the findings presented by Mueller, who was appointed in May 2017 after President Donald Trump fired then-FBI director James Comey, reported Christian Vanderbrouk for The Bulwark.

Mike Pence, Leader of the Resistance?

Mike Pence might be the most enigmatic figure in the executive branch. Notwithstanding his team-spirited demeanor, professions of loyalty, and message discipline, he was never really the MAGA-type. The vice president fits a more traditional Republican mold.

He supports free markets and free trade. He’s been outspoken in opposition to tyranny abroad. His record defending life, religious liberty (for all religions), and the constitutional right to bear arms is distinguished. The career of Mike Pence is in many ways a testament to a “fusionist” pact that unites national security, economic, and social conservatives./QUOTE]

Are Conservatives willing to piss off the man who could pardon Brokeahontus after his Impeachment?

WATCH: Trump brags about his China trade war ‘success’ as stock ticker shows market tanking

President Donald Trump on Monday boasted about how successful his trade war with China has been — even though stock markets took an absolute beating on the news that China was about to slap tariffs on $60 billion of American goods.

While giving remarks to White House reporters on Monday, Trump bragged that his tariffs were making the United States richer, while a stock-market ticker showed that the Dow Jones Industrial Average was falling by more than 600 points.

"It's the Economy Stupid!" Words to live by. :)

CNN’s Brooke Baldwin immediately fact-checks Trump’s ‘continuously wrong’ claim that tariffs helped economic growth

“The president is continuously wrong on the point that he keeps making that the strong GDP is a direct result of the tariffs on China,” she said.
AD REMOVED FOR SUBSCRIBED USER

“Let me cite a chief economist Mark Zandi in his own words. ‘No, the tariffs had nothing to do with Q 1 GDP. It was largely an impact in the surge of inventory as businesses stockpiled for fear of a trade war,” she said. “Looking at the markets, really down still today as a result of China’s retaliation.”

The Dow dropped by nearly 700 points after China said it will raise tariffs.

“This is a clear escalation of trade tensions in our view, and against our baseline that cool heads would prevail and the worst would be avoided,” Bank of America strategist Athanasios Vamvakidis said, according to CNN.

"Ignorant, stupid and white , is no way to run an economy" :D

Trump just succeeded in weaponizing the Justice Department

Attorney General Bill Barr directed Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Durham to investigate the origins of the Russia investigation, the New York Times reported Monday night.

The Times noted that this is the third Justice Department investigation of the investigation. A U.S. Attorney in Utah and Inspector General Michael Horowitz have also examined the probe. And under former Chair Devin Nunes, the House Intelligence Committee extensively pored over the probe for hints of wrongdoing, and while he found evidence that he was able to twist for partisan benefit, there was no sign of actual misconduct by the investigators.

There seem to be two reasonable possibilities that led to the attorney general’s decision: Barr took his orders, either directly from Trump behind the scenes, or indirectly from Trump’s public comments about wanting the “origins” of the investigation examined, and launched the new probe for that reason. Or Trump knew exactly who he was getting when he picked Barr to be attorney general — someone who would see the Russia investigation’s very existence as an affront to a Republican president — and that’s why he chose him.

'Less Integrity, More Bullshit,' seems to be Barr's MO.

Friends of Lindsey Graham stage an intervention live on CNN

Two friends of Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) appeared to be using CNN Monday night to reach out and show concern.

CNN’s Chris Cuomo opened his show with Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), who said that he was concerned about the direction Graham appears to have turned. The recent news is that Graham has told the president’s son, Donald Trump Jr., to break the law by defying a subpoena from Senate Republicans.

From Leopard of the Senate to Hyena of the Tea party!

‘Patience is wearing thin’: Vulnerable GOP senators are finally getting fed up with Trump’s trade war

President Donald Trump’s trade war shows no signs of ending anytime soon — and now Republican senators from farm states are finally getting fed up, reports CNN’s Dana Bash.

While talking with CNN host Jim Sciutto on Tuesday, Bash said that Republicans have for months said they’d given the president “space” to conduct negotiations with China, but their tolerance for drawn-out negotiations that leave American farmers hurting is limited.

“Patience is… wearing thin,” she said. “I heard that this morning doing some reporting on this.”

I guess they are tired of winning, so biggly?:)
