OK, here's evidence that the Democratic Party should tell Bernie and his supporters just to take a hike and try to steal someone else's party next time.

In a recent Emerson poll, 26 percent of those polled who called themselves Bernie Sanders supporters said they'd support Donald Trump in a Trump-Elizabeth Warren matchup in 2020. This is an indication of how many Bernie supporters are just plain nuts and how valuable they are not as a voting block to the Democratic Party.

If it's true, I'm all for them taking a flying leap. But how much do we trust Forbes as a source?

So, what does Chairman Tom Perez have to say about Bernie being a Democrat?

Months ago he demanded that Bernie sign a pledge that he would support the Democratic candidate no matter what, and Bernie signed (but he hasn't changed his Senate status from Independent), so I guess Perez can't say much in the open. I wouldn't expect that the DNC staffers will support Bernie any more now than they did in 2016.

I think that Tom Perez has the responsibility to say whether Bernie is a D or not

That is some fucked up shit, man! I can not believe that anyone would seriously pick Trump over, anyone short of Attila the Hun!

As much as I like Bernie, Liz is so much more Presidential than our PeeResident it is not funny.

I thought I posted that Bernie had done what Perez required.

You certainly did, however my point is that Perez is the one who needs to say more and not let this continue. The DNC did a horrible job in 2016. If this shit isn't clarified sooner, it will continue to be a problem and will result in disaster.

I would agree that if Perez thinks keeping Bernie will keep his supporters (or Bernie, for that matter) as loyal Democrats even while they get to use the DNC's systems, his elevator doesn't go all the way to the top.

This issue is going to hang around their necks like a big stinkin' albatross. Nobody needs that
