Just last year, they were still giving President Obama credit; credit for that and any success in fighting ISIS. It was all, DONALD! you didn't build that! We had to lay down the infrastructure for you. About the only thing Obama did not get credit for was border "security."

Is Candice Owens right?
Are they upset that more blacks (and Hispanics) are back into the workforce?

You mad bro???

That's because...

"Minorities in Particular Are Benefiting From This Economy"

Thus...

Ordinary people, including our minorities, are focused on the reality of their lives. Most Americans actually care about exactly the two big issues Trump cares about: jobs and personal safety. They notice more money in their paychecks. They notice when they get off food stamps and the unemployment line. They notice when they move from flipping hamburgers to a high-paying construction or assembly-line jobs. Securing our border, supporting cops, defeating ISIS in Syria, pressuring North Korea to “denuke” -- ordinary people get that we are safer than we were under Obama.

K. McQuillan, Trump is Winning Over Blacks, Hispanics, Millennials, and Even Gays, American Thinker (Jul. 2, 2018).

In more recent detail:

According to the latest job numbers, Hispanic unemployment continues to remain at one of its lowest rates in nearly half a century. The report also showed a near-record high of 27.6 million Hispanics employed and participating in the workforce in January 2019. Just a few months ago, the Census Bureau announced that the median income for Hispanic households grew by 3.7 percent in real terms from 2016 to 2017.

These historic numbers didn’t happen by accident. They are the result of tax and regulatory policies that have increased economic opportunity for all.

The most significant policy change occurred in December 2017 when President Trump signed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which drove record optimism among small business owners and paved the way for significant investments to expand facilities, boost productivity, and increase hiring and wages. A joint study by the Internal Revenue Service and the U.S. Treasury estimated that 9 out of 10 Americans saw an increase in their take-home pay as a result of tax relief.

Thanks to the growing economy, more and more Hispanics are able to save, spend, and invest as they see fit, including purchasing a home and opening up a business.

I. Ortega, Hispanic unemployment at historic low, thanks to this, Washington Examiner (Feb. 5, 2019).

September’s 3.7 percent unemployment rate, a nearly 50-year low, is helping all U.S. workers, but it’s especially beneficial to disadvantaged groups that have struggled to land jobs -- like black teenagers....

“As the labor market tightens, employers have to look to workers they ordinarily don’t (consider), like black teens,” says Dean Baker, co-founder of the Center for Economic and Policy Research. Overall black unemployment fell from 6.3 percent to 6 percent in September, a tad above the record low 5.9 percent reached in May.

P. Davidson, Jobs report: Black teen unemployment fell to 19.3 percent in September, lowest on record, USA Today (Oct. 5, 2018).

The real median income of households maintained by non-Hispanic whites ($68,145) and Hispanics ($50,486) increased 2.6 percent and 3.7 percent, respectively, between 2016 and 2017.

I just saw a Democrat Yang say if they can give everyone $2K a year in Alaska, there's no reason we can't do it for everybody!

So, are Alaskans now going to get $4K under his plan?

That ought to attract the Murkowski voters...

William Devane says: Buy OH! SILVER!!! and away!

One thing I wonder about everyone playing on our economic fears is what happened to the TRUMP recession/depression?

WWIII???

Too soon?

Either could happen.

Real estate may be bubbling again.

Will it be WWIII or Moon War I?

We're going to have to ally (collude) with Russia for any 'Moon Wars...'

:D ;) ;)

Too bad they're with the Chinese hegemony.
Was it the Trumpian exportation of oil?

But exporting oil is evil...

even if it does provide tens of thousands of jobs in the USA and further helps the poor by keeping energy prices down....

Think of the poor polar bears!

B-b-b--but in California, IMPORTING energy is considered green, so out exports are clearly fighting Glow-Ball Warning!

PS - I want the polar bears dead.

They're just fawkin' mean shits!

Grizzlies in 'white face...' :D

lol

Drill baby drill.

The same demographic groups that waste money on big screen TVs lottery tickets liquor and cigarettes will spend that $2,000 on exactly that kind of thing. Those that save fast now will do so and start Building Wealth. Again they'll be wealth inequality and the charge will be we have two means test this and we are now need to give ever-increasing more Universal income to those who don't do anything with it other than spend it.

I don't know what it's like in your neck of the woods but the Real Estate "bubble" might have already burst here in California. If so, it wasn't much of a "bubble".

There are tons of homes on the market but few are selling. The prices can't drop either because most of the homes for sale were purchased after the last bubble and the numbers haven't gone up enough to cover a price reduction and the listing/realtor fees.

So they're stuck. High prices with a market glut and, it seems, all the buyers already left the State or are trying to sell so they can get out of California too. Stagnant markets aren't good for investors.

Why did they stop bragging about their sanctuary policies?

;)

They didn't stop talking about sanctuary policies, they simply pointed out that Trump "weaponized" the policy to attempt to hurt his political detractors. Everything Trump does is filtered through the lens of "fuck what is good for the country, how can I use this to appease my base and/or stick it to my enemies"?

That's why you adore the man, he has the same "party over country" mindset that you do.
