Trump's Tax Returns

Trump seems to want to "run out the clock" on releasing his tax returns. The IRS only holds six years of returns.

If Trump can hold on, rumor has it that his dodgy 2013 tax return for his NJ golf club will be beyond the statute of limitations.

Supposedly Trump's club did not pay the required employer contribution to social security for the entire staff (hundreds of people), instead siphoning this money off to one of his other business ventures. Close to a half-million dollars.

That's jail time.

The con artist keeps lying he can't release his returns because he's under audit, something the IRS has repeatedly said isn't true. There is nothing stopping someone from releasing their own returns at any time.

Even if the con artist believes (he doesn't, but go with it) that he can't release those returns under audit, there is no reason not to release returns from past years which are no longer audit.

He's simply a coward because his returns would show how much of a failure he truly is.

Here's something to consider: almost without exception, none of his properties turn a profit.

The House isn't asking 'rump to provide the tax info. They are using a law that's been on the books since the twenties to have the IRs provide them. 'rump is totally out of the loop and has no control. Remember how Capone went down...taxes!

If the IRS doesn't send the returns to Congress, who goes to jail? I'd enjoy seeing Munchkin frog marched off in handcuffs!:)

Democrats could have Mnuchin arrested if he refuses to hand over Trump’s tax returns: MSNBC legal analyst

The Democratic battle to obtain President Donald Trump’s tax returns is likely to be long and fierce. But at some point, said legal analyst Elie Mystal in his Friday appearance on MSNBC’s “The Beat,” the law will catch up to Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin if he refuses to comply with Congress.

“The administration has the authority to make it clear for us to see it, but Steve Mnuchin has a responsibility for Congress to see it,” said Mystal. “It’s the law … he could be held in contempt of Congress if he doesn’t follow the law.”

Let's watch Munchkin flip like Mexican jumping bean!:)

Is there any actual law that requires an individual to provide FITR to anybody who asks for them? Can you cite it?

And I don't believe anything "Raw Story" says and I also have no faith in MSNBC.

Congress can request the FITR of anyone for review, The IRS SHALL comply is how the law states it.

It is not a thing that a "Person" can do, but the Congress is not a person. I'm sure the Pilot can cite it chapter and verse, but I don't care enough to goggle it. Do You?:)

Your opinion of Raw Story or MSNBC is not of concern to anyone but yourself Box.

Section 6103(f)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code:

Hello, hello, Boxlicker. You acknowledge now that there is a law? It has been heavily covered in the media, and it's not an iffy thing--it's a clear law. And perhaps you are reassessing your information-gathering system to discover and contemplate why you are so deficient in gathering relevant information? Maybe if you were more objective in gathering information you wouldn't come across as so idiotic all of the time(?)

"Supposedly" ....let me guess another "anonymous source" someone at Buzz Feed??

LOL...is this the conspiracy theory that's replacing Russiagate? :D

YOU, of all people, are the last person who speak of being objective. Stick a sock in it pops.

I'd report you for being stupid, but we don't have that button.

I did finally locate something about it, but I'm quite sure the Constitutionality of this law has never been tested. Furthermore, the part I have bolded would certainly shoot down the request. Anybody who looked at the details of the return in question would know immediately whose it was.

So who cares if Congress has to be in closed session? Congress has the right to the returns, they just can not make the info public. However it would probably leak out, granted.

A criminal referral to the IRS special squad of rabid auditors and the FBI could still be made, if Congress found the information to not be accurate.:D

I find it odd that Speaker Pelosi refuses to release her tax returns. She’s second in line to succession to the office of the presidency. If she thinks this information is important, why won’t she release her returns? What is she hiding? Perhaps she and Trump are in business together.

I find it odd that you've seen the need to start up yet another alt.

Crummy attempt at deflection, though, I must say.

Answer the question, I'm curious as to why Nancy doesn't have to release her taxes for scrutiny. I think everyone in congress should have to release their taxes. They could be Putin surrogates. What does she have to hide? She must be a criminal!! OH NO!
