I've been at my office since 07:15. I have been in a meeting or on a conference call ever since. It took until noon to finish my morning coffee. Sometimes that is what age gives you. I know a lot about my area of expertise, and everyone wants me. And, not in a good way I'm gonna have my (now cold) lunch. (It's almost 3pm).

I've got to retire. Only 281 days, under my current plan...

Slightly grumpy guy, as I leave 60 in the dust. But there's lots to like about life out here on the west coast of Canada, especially on days when I have a few hours to relax. I want to spend more time outdoors now that spring is arriving, but I also hope to get back to writing some new stories in the near future. One of my hobbies is crafting erotic tales which take elements of unusual adventures I have enjoyed where I live, woven together with a few personal details supplied by a reader requesting such a story. It probably barely suffices as I spend an equal amount of time helplessly sighing about what to do with them and grumbling that I have to worry about it. (I'm renting)

It isn't in my nature to worry about landscaping and flowers. I like wild flowers not tamed and I would love to have a zero-scape yard. That being said, anything that intimidates me is automatically viewed as a challenge to overcome and thus I must conquer my fear of caring for roses (and bow to the fucking HOA nazis).

Yes just recently my Landlord received a letter because I had left a hose visible in the front yard. Mind you...I live in a lower-middle income neighborhood....it isn't as though it's the Hamptons!

I can't wait to buy a house and GTFO of this place.

I'd prefer a condo because i hate cutting the grass, but HOA / Condo Board rules drive me nuts. There was a news item here in Canada recently that a Afghan Veteran was served with a notice that he could not fly a Canadian Flag outside his Condo unit. Insane.
