When the Jaworski/Cox Watergate report was commissioned, it was on the basis that it would be sent direct to Congress and that is what happened. The report itself produced no bombshells, however, the House and Senate investigations which stemmed from it blew Nixon apart.

In this case the Mueller findings will go to the AG, William Barr, not the Congress.

Barr is a lawyers lawyer and I am pretty certain that unless the evidence against Trump is devastating he will release very little of substance. If Barr holds back, the House investigations in particular will be brutal. Come to think of it they will be brutal anyway. ;)

Barr not Mueller will be the man to watch. I have had a look at his past record and would recommend extreme caution in trusting at face value anything he says. Hint. Barr is a huge supporter of the concept of "Executive Priviledge."

Congress will run their own show just for the political opportunities in any event.
