Remember when one of your stories in LW was taking a beating? I read it and lent you my vote to help. I asked for nothing in return. Unfortunately, my vote didn’t help much, but I did it anyway.
Now, it’s okay if you change how you feel about me based on my political views, but there’s more to who I am than my political views and clothes I chose to wear.

Some of my best friends are republicans. I have nieces and nephews that are half-republican. Not many people know that so shut your fucking yap about it.
I'm related to all kinds of Republicans. A current Republican officeholder even married into my extended family. Being a Republican isn't a dealbreaker for me.
But the assumed point of this thread is the same stuff I saw after the 2016 election: that it's unfair to make assumptions about a person just because they like Donald Trump. Er, I think there's a lot you can fairly assume about them.

^^ Ya got guys like Mitch. As I recall, he was pretty much dead set against Donny. Now he's all for Donny. Why? Because he's a flip-flopping floosey with no back bone. If he was a man, he would have stood up to Donny and possibly even switched parties to nip his wings. But no, he's a partisan hack who blindly supports someone he probably hates.
