You're very welcome but it should be I, thanking you, for not only allowing me, but giving me the opportunity to express feelings that I've kept hidden for a long time. It was almost virtuous in that I felt lifted finally sharing with someone, you, a part of me up until that moment remained hidden and guarded.
Emotions, true emotions bring on a response and I've always believed that tears come from the heart, an emotional uplifting, or, cleansing if you will, in that this reflects our compassion and similarities, in each of us, being the beauty of a "pure heart," shared by that emotion.
I also took the liberty to peruse the thread reading posts and thinking about those expressions and insights, the things we carry through life, and how we surmount those obstacles, our highs, our lows, and our ability to tear away those ties that bind. Yes, I appreciate your invitation as this means as lot to me and would love to learn and share insights and experiences.

First. Let me say, that, this is the first time a post in this thread has made me cry.
I read this, and my sons Fiancee asked if I was okay. This is exactly why EY and I originally started this thread. She was much better at words then I am, so I feel like I will never convey how much this post meant to me.

Sadly when I went in to find out about getting a breast reduction, the Doctor told me if I knew how little they really weighed, (Cause I begged him to tell me they weighed 20 pounds a piece for the sake of weight loss) I would probably cry.
and I hated these pics with a fiery passion.

Honey: Polish
(grrrr) I found the deepest, darkest, high-gloss shade of black polish I ever saw in my life while out-n-about today. Thing is no matter how I apply it (pulls my hair out throwing my bitch-fit) it either clumps or runs. Three attempts, going on my fourth now with no end in sight. These are just my fingers, I've yet to do my toes. (pouts) If I can finally paint/polish to my satisfaction, I wanna brush some crimson-red as an overlay before the top gloss coat. Any suggestions?

I tell you what can be fun for polish. I Have a Crackle polish that is fun with blacks and reds. The Crackle is black. So I paint my nails red, and then apply the crackle over top and it crackles (Splits apart)
I've learned how finicky polish is though. If it is old, it wont go on well. Brands often make a difference also. Thick is easier to fix. Watery just sucks. There are a few things that people say help. But sometimes just leaving the lid off for a while can help it thicken. I usually just throw a fit too lol

That is so awesome, but it always chipped super easily for me when I tried it. I have confirmed I have to give up all my favorite polishes (gel) any standard long lasting recommendations. I haven't used regular polish in like 15 years.

I'm trying to find one that I really liked, but I didn't realize my hands are in so many of my pictures lol. I LOVE to paint my nails. But even with fake nails. I mostly just did colored tips. I did breast Cancer ones for Emmy, which were my favorite off all of them.

I am looking for quick dry, lasts forever, and not uv drying. I am used to 1 minute dry and lasts a month, so very very sad to give it up, and hope to duplicate those features if I can.

Yeah I used to love Gel also. I've tried some at home ones and even got the light. They don't last as long.
The main problem I found with gel is it's sticky and for whatever reason whenever I scrub pots and pans with gel nails my "dishpan nails" end up a horrid mess.
