Trump: Dems Were ‘Vicious And Totally Showed Their Cards’ During Whitaker Hearing

President Donald Trump reacted in a Saturday morning tweet to Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker’s heated House Judiciary grilling Friday.

Trump took aim at Democrats for being “vicious” towards Whitaker.

"The Democrats in Congress yesterday were vicious and totally showed their cards for everyone to see. When the Republicans had the Majority they never acted with such hatred and scorn! The Dems are trying to win an election in 2020 that they know they cannot legitimately win!"

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 9, 2019

Yes I believe the hand was a Royal Flush! Lumpy is left with a few Jokers and a Three of Diamonds.

Starting on the defensive Lumpy Dumpling is reeling from the pounding his Administration had taken.:D:D

Sleeze King!

Why Trump’s Inauguration Was So Sleazy, Even For Washington

As reports proliferate about New York prosecutors’ investigation into President Trump’s 2017 inaugural committee, it can be difficult to tease out the standard swamp sleaze from activities that cross a line—or possibly break the law.

Former high-level inauguration staffers and ethics experts told TPM that Trump’s team stretched the boundaries of acceptability, potentially opening the door to the kind of self-dealing and illegal foreign donations that prosecutors are reportedly probing.

“It’s become fairly common for these events to be an influence-buying free-for-all, but it seems like Trump took this to another level,” Brendan Fischer, director for federal reform at the Campaign Legal Center, told TPM.

The federal investigation remains in its early stages. It’s not clear how far liability extends in any direction, or if the committee could be a victim itself as a legal entity.

More Swamp than bog.:):)

What was really sleazy was watching my Senators from Minnesota sit on their hands during the Inauguration. I'm ashamed I ever voted Democrat, and I voted for Eugene McCarthy, Jesse Jackson, Walter Mondale, George McGovern, Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton. Also, the Minnesota Senators *(big mistake). I'll never vote Democrat again, and i'm positive you nazis won't miss me.

Report: 'Trump Is Hated By Everyone Inside The White House'

Can you imagine working for a bloviating narcissist, who demands total and complete loyalty and offers none in return?

Sherman, as accurate as any reporter in the media today writes, "The issue is that many see Trump himself as the problem."

“Trump is hated by everyone inside the White House,” a former West Wing official told Sherman. "His shambolic management style, paranoia, and pattern of blaming staff for problems of his own making have left senior White House officials burned out and resentful."

"It’s total misery. People feel trapped,” a former official said. “Trump always needs someone to blame,” a second former official said. Sources told Sherman that the leak of Trump’s internal schedules to Axios—which revealed how little work Trump actually does—was a signal of how disaffected his staff has become."

Did you vote for Hillary, or Obama? :)

Did you vote for Hillary, or Obama? :)

I voted for Obama and Trump. I wouldn't vote for Hillary for several reasons, perhaps primarily for her close relationship with international drug dealer and murderer Bill Clinton. I foolishly believed President Obama might do the right thing by closing Guantanamo Bay prison, and getting out of wars. Instead he did the opposite, and really cracked-down on whistle-blowers, while politicizing FBI, CIA and DOJ. Never again will I be deceived by a glad-handing Democrat, or Republican. I like President Trump precisely because he is not a career politician. Trump/anyone 2020 100,000,000 to ZERO

Trump is a ‘clear and present threat’: Ex-diplomat warns president is dangerous to US national security

Whether he’s withdrawing troops from Syria without consulting any of his military officials or attacking his intelligence chiefs, Trump’s erosion of security institutions are extremely troubling, the ex-diplomat who worked Secret Service security detail mused.

Under Trump the GOP’s dirty tricks machine has gotten even dirtier

“If there is going to be peace and legislation, there cannot be war and investigation. It just does not work that way,” he said. It’s a massive tangle of false claims, but the intended ultimatum was clear: Stop investigating me, or nothing will get done. The last shutdown could be only the beginning. “If you try to impeach me,” Trump threatened (in effect), “I’ll impeach you!”

And was Nancy frightened? Fuck NO!:D

Trump is not a Republican he is a .... Me, Me, Me-publican.

During Week Zero, days before the Inauguration, Trump stood in front of the Lincoln Memorial and said, “I promise you that I will work so hard.”

The word for Trump this week is, "slacker."

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/feb/07/executive-time-donald-trump-white-house
The debate erupted last weekend when an unnamed source leaked almost every day of Trump’s private schedule from the past three months to the website Axios. The documents showed that the president spends around 60% of his scheduled day in “executive time”, a term coined by his former chief of staff John Kelly. This usually includes the first five hours of the day, from waking up around 6am to his first meeting around 11am.

Axios reported: “The president sometimes has meetings during executive time that he doesn’t want most West Wing staff to know about for fear of leaks. And his mornings sometimes include calls with heads of state, political meetings and meetings with counsel in the residence, which aren’t captured on these schedules.”

The calls and meetings are understood to include the Fox hosts Sean Hannity and Lou Dobbs, longtime friends such as his lawyer Rudy Giuliani, the New York businessman Richard LeFrak, the conservative media entrepreneur Chris Ruddy and the former bodyguard Keith Schiller, and members of Congress including senator Lindsey Graham and the US representative Mark Meadows. He also phones journalists at the New York Times and elsewhere to complain about their coverage.

Yet the interactions do not appear on the daily schedules. Chris Whipple, the author of The Gatekeepers: How the White House Chiefs of Staff Define Every Presidency, said: “It tells you these calls have nothing to do with governing. He’s just clowning around, talking to his pals, tweeting and watching TV. If the calls had any governmental purpose, it would be on the schedule.”

And now he's late with his homework.

The Trump administration has refused to respond to a request from Congress to provide a report determining who killed the Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

Senators wrote in October demanding the murder be investigated and that the White House give more information.

However, Democratic senators told the New York Times the president was in breach of the so-called Magnitsky Act, which requires a response within 120 days to requests from Senate committee leaders. That deadline passed on Friday.

Talks collapse on border deal as U.S. government shutdown looms

Talks on border security funding collapsed after Democratic and Republican lawmakers clashed over immigrant detention policy as they worked to avert another U.S. government shutdown, a Republican senator said on Sunday.

“The talks are stalled right now,” Republican Senator Richard Shelby told “Fox News Sunday.” He said the impasse was over Democrats’ desire to cap the number of beds in detention facilities for people who enter the country illegally.

Congress can't Legislate, so they might as well Investigate!:)

Budget for fiscal 2020 expected to be released March 12

WASHINGTON — The Trump administration expects to deliver its fiscal 2020 budget on March 12, a six-week delay from the planned initial release date.

Three sources, speaking on background because there has been no formal announcement from the Office of Management and Budget, confirmed the March 12 target for the budget rollout. Although no dollar amount has been announced, the budget is expected to be in the range of $750 billion.

However, it is possible that date could slide should the government shut down once again, which could begin as soon as Feb. 16 should Congress and the White House fail to reach a new agreement.

Six Weeks late and a brain short!

Trump emerges from his White House cocoon to recover some momentum with a pack of freshly baked lies

I’m sure everyone will be relieved to know that the long three-month drought is over. President Trump is getting back in the saddle and will be giving his first rally of 2019 on Monday. Feel the magic!

He’ll be visiting El Paso, Texas, the border city he erroneously claimed in the State of the Union was one of the most dangerous cities in the country until they put up a “wall” (which is actually a fence.) In reality, it was one of the safest cities in the country before the fence and remains one of the safest today. But he’s going to go there and tell his local fans that they can believe him or they can believe their lyin’ eyes. Local officials don’t seem inclined to go along.

Trumpski goes to El Paso to lie the foundation for his WALL!:D

The Saudis ‘have leverage over Trump’ that will let them get away with murder: Retired admiral

Retired Rear Admiral John Kirby on Monday suggested that Saudi Arabia has some kind of “leverage” over President Donald Trump that would allow the country to skate on accusations that its top officials ordered the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

During a discussion of the Trump administration missing a Congressional deadline to report its findings on the Khashoggi murder, Kirby said that the administration was dragging its feet in issuing a report on the killing because it would likely be bad news for Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who has been accused of personally orchestrating Khashoggi’s assassination.

“They are slow rolling this,” he said. “This whole episode shows you the degree to which this administration has gone all in on Saudi Arabia. It shows you the degree to which their Middle East policy is about Iran, and they see Saudi Arabia as the biggest counterweight against Iran.”

Who else would loan Trumpski/Jared money?

Congress should cut his travel budget until he turns in his Khashoggi homework. "You're grounded!"

‘Bad news for the president’: Fox News analyst explains why Trump could go down in Jeff Bezos blackmail case

“Here’s the essence of what Jeff Bezos claims,” he explained. “He was admonished by AMI’s people: ‘If you continue your investigation — wherever it goes — we will publish more photos of you.'”

“Now that is an act of blackmail,” Napolitano insisted. “Because it is an effort to prevent him from doing what he has a right to do by the threat of exposing something.”

According to Napolitano, there is suspicion that the White House was involved in the alleged crime.

“Because of the close relationship between [AMI CEO] David Pecker and Donald Trump,” he remarked. “I’ve seen no evidence of this. But that is the implication in the media, that if Jeff Bezos continues with his investigation, that’s where it will lead.”

Surely this is "White Mail"?

Trump’s 2016 campaign still has massive overdue bills for law enforcement providing security

The Center for Public Integrity reported just after the 2016 election that Donald Trump might tout his love for law enforcement but he hasn’t paid his bills to them.

Two years (to the day) after that report, Dave Levinthal said that the president still hasn’t paid his bills.

Trump regularly holds up law enforcement as his heroes, but when it comes to paying them, it seems he’s no longer supportive.

These so-called “brave heroes” put their own lives on the line for Trump before he was the president. It’s unclear why the campaign doesn’t feel they should be paid.

According to campaign finance reports, Trump’s campaign has already raised over $100 million.

How many millions went to Eric for wine and Don Jr. for...consulting?

Lindsey Graham spills the beans: Trump will declare a national emergency even if he signs bipartisan deal

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), one of Donald Trump’s biggest allies in the Senate, said Tuesday that he expects the president to declare a national emergency to get his border wall built — even if he signs the bipartisan spending deal drafted by members of Congress.

USA Today’s Eliza Collins tweeted that Graham expects Trump will “both declare a national emergency and try to find money elsewhere in order to bridge the gap between $1.375 in the Congressional deal and the $5.7 billion he’s demanded for his wall.”

Maybe he should ask the Saudis for financing?:)

Be interesting to see how he tries to justify EMERGENCY after two years of Republican majority and suddenly...Democrats!

Sean Hannity, who is arguably smarter than President Trump, has announced the plan he is backing, in order to get it into Trump's head.

Step one: The president signs the deal, and uses the $1.375 billion as a downpayment for the wall. Step two: President Trump has identified some $900 million for additional construction that is already available for the administration's discretion. That would bring the pot to about $2.3 billion. Step three: This needs to happen simultaneously, and it has the president declaring a national emergency.
Let's see if Trump takes the bait and does exactly this.

US retail sales post largest drop since 2009; jobless claims up

U.S. retail sales recorded their biggest drop in more than nine years in December as receipts fell across the board, suggesting a sharp slowdown in economic activity at the end of 2018.

The economy’s outlook was further dimmed by other data on Thursday showing an unexpected increase in the number of Americans filing claims for unemployment benefits last week. That pushed the four-week moving average of claims to a one-year high, an indication that job growth was moderating.

Is the the dreaded Republican Recession that we all know is looming? If only there was a way to avoid it! Maybe sacrificing an Orange Rotund Bullshit Artist (ORBA) on the alter of Tax increases would help? :D

‘Entering enraged tyrant zone’: Trump mocked as having ‘mental capacity of a child’ after latest tweetstorm

President Donald Trump wasted no time lashing out at Andrew McCabe after the former FBI Deputy Director revealed Thursday top officials at the Dept. of Justice were so disturbed by the President’s actions they seriously discussed if they could invoke the 25th Amendment to remove him from office.

The President went ballistic, posting to Twitter attacks against McCabe and his other top targets, that are among his most juvenile to date.

“Disgraced FBI Acting Director Andrew McCabe pretends to be a ‘poor little Angel’ when in fact he was a big part of the Crooked Hillary Scandal & the Russia Hoax – a puppet for Leakin’ James Comey. I.G. report on McCabe was devastating. Part of ‘insurance policy’ in case I won….,” Trump tweeted.

Trumpski is playing with his Tweeter again!:D

Physician ‘a little concerned’ with Trump’s difficulty finding words when he speaks

President Donald Trump had his routine physical exam this week, though the results have not yet been released.

In past physicals, Trump’s data was altered to make it appear as though his body mass index (BMI) didn’t fall into the obese category. According to CNN Dr. Sanjay Gupta, the president’s previous physicals reveal he has heart disease that makes him closer to having a heart attack within the next five years.

The other point he made was the importance of a neurological exam.

“Although I don’t do it ordinarily, he’s had some difficulties with word-finding,” the physician said. “I’m a little concerned about that.”

But, but Lumpy has the "Best Words"?
